dizzy Posted March 22, 2010 Report Posted March 22, 2010 Because the US is racist, just like Canada, but not afraid to admit it. Who's afraid to admit racism exists here? I'm a brown boy, I've done my time. But I've not yet been profiled in a Canadian airport. Just in the US and France so far. I don't indulge in drugs of any kind...the body is a temple. Sucks to be you. Still, some consider personation, passive agression and obsessive posting forms of mental addiction. Quote
bush_cheney2004 Posted March 22, 2010 Report Posted March 22, 2010 (edited) Probably the same reason I watch creationists on youtube. It's funny watching such stupidity. Of course..... YouTube is a video sharing website on which users can upload and share videos. Three former PayPal employees created YouTube in February 2005.[1] In November 2006, YouTube, LLC was bought by Google Inc. for $1.65 billion, and is now operated as a subsidiary of Google. The company is based in San Bruno, California, US of A. ....enjoy the show. Edited March 22, 2010 by bush_cheney2004 Quote Economics trumps Virtue.

I'm not stealing anything I'm talking about people who have made videos debunking a creationists crap only to have said creationists claim to own part of the video (when they don't or it clearly fail under fair use) and using the DMCA to censor. You've got yourself one screwed up country when those defending science are being targeted by censors because the religous right don't like what they are hearing. So much for "Freedom of speech is more so in the USA." Freedom of speech is only allowed if people like what they are hearing in the USA Quote

No, but Google will sure as hell enforce it. What you agree with has no bearing on the United States. So are the ones in the U.S. Don't worry, you can keep your bootleg torrent copy of The Matrix. Don't worry, you can keep your bootleg torrent copy of The Matrix. The Matrix sucks. There have been so many movies filmed in Canada I would be better off with one of them. It's great when someone has put up a video that helps get across your point. Thunderf00t for the win. Here are some more. Quote

Guest TrueMetis Posted March 22, 2010 Report Posted March 22, 2010 Nah...see Alberta: http://www.bvcsm.com/ I can't get excited about either.....but have fun! Is that it? The amount of Creationists in Canada is nothing compared to the ones in America. And I don't recall any Canadian Creationists trying to get it taught in the classroom. Americans who accept creationism: 45% http://www.gallup.com/poll/14107/Third-Americans-Say-Evidence-Has-Supported-Darwins-Evolution-Theory.aspx Canadians who accepts creationism: 22% http://ncse.com/news/2008/08/polling-creationism-canada-001375 Number of creation museums in Canada 2 Number of creation museums in America 21 No need to worry about Islamic fundementalists, America is creating it's own Christian ones. Lots of stuff gets taught there that you may not approve of....even in Canada. Americans who accept creationism: 45% Canadians who accepts creationism: 22% Is it not their right to do so? Number of creation museums in Canada 2 Number of creation museums in America 21 Yep....good old 10 to 1 population ratio at work before our very eyes. No need to worry about Islamic fundementalists, America is creating it's own Christian ones. America creates a lot of stuff...be very afraid. Hell if I know....Ann Coulter mostly believes in Ann Coulter. Edited March 22, 2010 by bush_cheney2004 Quote Economics trumps Virtue.
Guest TrueMetis Posted March 22, 2010 Report Posted March 22, 2010 Are you afraid of the "classroom". Lots of stuff gets taught there that you may not approve of....even in Canada. I understand the curriculum very well. We teach actual science in science class and actual history in history class. Math, Enlgish, Law, all taught using actual facts. Which I approve of I don't think there is anything In the curiculum I don't approve of. Is it not their right to do so? That is no even an arguement. Is it not the right of the Islamic fundementalists to do so? They are pretty much identical. The creationists just haven't got around to bombing things yet. Yep....good old 10 to 1 population ratio at work before our very eyes. Most of the American Creationist museums are much larger than the Canadian ones it is a lot larger than 10 to 1. America creates a lot of stuff...be very afraid. I mean...c'mon....are you in love with all American policies formulated without creationists? No, but then I never said I was. Though most of America's policies are based on people in power because of religous nuts. You guys had a slew of great leaders in your founding fathers. Since then no one has come close. Quote
