Oleg Bach Posted March 20, 2010 Report Posted March 20, 2010 When an old lady with adult children is stricken with a life threatening illness- the corporate bastards say to her.."sell your house and give us the money and we may provide you with health care to sustain you for a few more years" - WHAT is the ultimate effect of such a system? I* will tell you what it is...It is the loss of heritage and a common thing called inheritance. The ability to pass your hard earned wealth down to your children. Today you need a nest egg to put a down payment on a house..No matter how hard you work and the state and hordingness of the banks it is very difficult to maintain our very precious and civilizing middle class - When with illness the parent has to hand over all of their wealth to the corporates because of being in a weakened state - this causes the flow of wealth to be deverted away from the off spring..and it goes to the overly wealthy power crazed corporates - IN EFFECT THE AMERICAN SYSTEM IS DESTROYING THE NATION. To have a system of wealthy people that have become dependant on feeding on the weak and sick - IS A SICK SOCIETY! Quote

Obviously you've never heard of American healthcare programs such as medicare, medicaid, and the children's health insurance program. Not to mention health insurance itself. But please. Don't let facts get in the way of a good factless, ignorant, stereotype. Btw, what exactly is an adult child? LOL! Quote

In a few years Shady will be citing Obamacare as a reason not too improve something else. What a hypocrite. Quote
Shady Posted March 21, 2010 Report Posted March 21, 2010 All programs which you hate Shady. Complete nonsense. In a few years Shady will be citing Obamacare as a reason not too improve something else. What a hypocrite. Nope. Obamacare will be a complete disaster, if it's passed. The tax increase that helps pay for it doesn't take effect until 2018. And that's only if the congress in 2018 votes to pass it. What a courageous President he is, to put off a tax increase on somebody else 8 years from now to have to deal with. Worst President ever! Quote

bush_cheney2004 Posted March 21, 2010 Report Posted March 21, 2010 Accept that is a lie and it will still be a lie in November. You mean we can keep Medicare Advantage after all? Thanks! Quote Economics trumps Virtue.
Shady Posted March 21, 2010 Report Posted March 21, 2010 Yet it saves 200 billion dollars. OUCH It doesn't save one single penny. In fact, when you add in the doctor fix, and you subtract the student loan program, which has nothing to do with healthcare, and if congress doesn't enact the tax increases in 2018 in which Obama is too chickenshit to do himself, it ends up adding hundreds of billions of dollars to the deficit. Quit parroting information you know little about. Quote
Shady Posted March 21, 2010 Report Posted March 21, 2010 You mean we can keep Medicare Advantage after all? Thanks! Oh, you can keep it. It'll just have about $500 billion dollars less in the program thanks to Obama. It's the same $500 billion he counts as cost reductions, but then spends on his new entitlement program. Bernie Madoff would be jealous of Obama's accounting practices! Quote
