ToadBrother Posted July 2, 2010 Report Posted July 2, 2010 (edited) Somebody told me that the official name of the gay pride parade is AIDS-fest. Is this correct? Somebody told me you were a closet homosexual who needed to say things like this to convince everyone you're really a macho guy. Is this correct? Why do guys like you and Mr. Canada give such a crap about a bunch of queers marching up and down the square? What is the bizarre fixation with homosexuality? Edited July 2, 2010 by ToadBrother Quote
Shady Posted July 2, 2010 Report Posted July 2, 2010 Why do guys like you and Mr. Canada give such a crap about a bunch of queers marching up and down the square? What is the bizarre fixation with homosexuality? I guess if they marched up and down the square without using tax money, and without committing criminal acts the rest of us would get fined or jailed for, I wouldn't have as much of a problem. Quote

Shady Posted July 5, 2010 Report Posted July 5, 2010 Why do they always lie about the attendance figures every year? Do they think that people actually believe a million people were there? Quote
Jack Weber Posted July 6, 2010 Report Posted July 6, 2010 Why do they always lie about the attendance figures every year? Do they think that people actually believe a million people were there? Because the Gay Rights lobby is trying to convey a message that it's acceptable to be this way to those on the fence of acceptance. They are also,in a bckhanded way, trying to shame those of us who have little interest at all in what goes on at the "Reach for the Rainbow" weekend retreat! Mr.Falange has been fairly silent for the last few days...Must be in the "Cutting Room". Quote The beatings will continue until morale improves!!!
M.Dancer Posted July 6, 2010 Report Posted July 6, 2010 Why do they always lie about the attendance figures every year? Do they think that people actually believe a million people were there? They quote an attendance of 1.2 million over the course of the event (which is week long). They also quote a parade attendance of over 400,000. Over 250,000 who attend are out of towners. Unless you have better figures, I suggest your statement is devoid of fact. http://www.pridetoronto.com/press/report-proves-pride-an-economic-force/ Quote RIGHT of SOME, LEFT of OTHERS If it is a choice between them and us, I choose us
Oleg Bach Posted July 6, 2010 Report Posted July 6, 2010 My stupid daughters attened the event - they support this stupid stuff - yet they have problems finding suitable mates-- perhaps they should stop supporting those that grant them notbing and do not improve their lives? Quote

Shady Posted July 6, 2010 Report Posted July 6, 2010 They also quote a parade attendance of over 400,000. But it's not even close to that number. There's a grid system that's used to count large crowds, and that number exceeds any measure of reality. Quote

Unless you have better figures, I suggest your statement is devoid of fact. http://www.pridetoronto.com/press/report-proves-pride-an-economic-force/ I'd generally agree, but I don't believe any facts have been presented. Both for or against. Citing Pride Toronto isn't an objective source. They have a vested interested in making sure the numbers look good. The latest nonsense is that there are more than a million people at the Gay Pride Parade in Toronto. This fraudulent mantra is repeated over and over again to the point that we’re not supposed to challenge it. But it’s an absolute lie. Ask any cop privately how many people are in Toronto for the ghastly spectacle and they’ll tell you somewhere 150,000 and 200,000 at most... Look, there is an accurate grid system to measure crowds and for a million people to be in Toronto the assembly would have to stretch from Yonge and College Street to Barrie, Ontario. That’s a long way. Link Quote

They have a vested interested in making sure the numbers look good. I would be the first to argue that coren is not a total asshat. Yes I agree with him. Far less than a million attended the parade. Not that Pride Toronto makes that claim...but for coren, his MO is simple...make a false claim and ...prove it false..simple...all you have to do is...ask any cop, privately...cause, you know...they have access to...the grid system...which somehow magically counts the thousands who wacth the parade from rooftops, bars, patios.... Still in the cutting room or still in traction? I'd be interested to know how much time you've spent in Toronto if at all Jack. You claim to live in Beamsville which is a very small town(pop 9600). 1. So what experience do you have with big cities? 2.You seem to support many of the ideas that come out of Toronto, why live so far away from it if it is such a utopia?
