Shakespeare said it. My thing is that the air waves are there and therefore belong to everyone. Problem is someone has to pay for it to be delivered and tha t's us. Obama got the Nobel Prize for Peace and even he said he did not deserve it. In fact, he is donating the money to charity, which I don't think any Noberl Prize winner has ever done. No, it is not a pacification. The reality is that it if Obama does not have the Congress of the US agree to what he wants, his bills will not pass. Period, end of story. He tried, and got stalled in Congress. Something about the US Constitution a lot of folks do not understand. Unless Congress passes it, it does not fly. Quote

As for the prize money...no public figure has ever kept the prize..especially if they are already well to do. I feel sorry for Obama - I am sure he means well but someone should have explained to him if you really want to bring about change - YOU had better be ready to suffer the fate of a martyr...Obama is not that foolish - America is a brutal nation - IF a leader bothers the establishement to much they will get cruxified. Just like the Christ figure. He did well untill he went into the bank and started whipping the staff and kicking over tables - That was the begining of the end for Jesus. You can do what you want but don't mess with the privledges of those that rule - especally their money. Obama does not have a chance. He would not last one minute on earth if they got wind of the idea that trillions of dollars were about to be shifted to the less privledged , say through real health care reform. You can not mess with someones way of life. The people who are in control have been rich and privledged for generations..no way are they going to submit to this little black man. Quote

Furthermore, calling Obama a mulatto, and saying that Obama is HELPED by his non-white status is a statement of fact... dull example? we're on the topic of discussing whether a person deserves an award/prize... Some do, but I think most simply see it as a person of mixed race-- white and black-- which Obama is. I really don't think it was meant in a derogatory way in the post you are referring to.
