hahahahahahahahahahahhahahaha

:lol::lol::lol:

Disagree as you wish but they used U.N. Resolution 1441 to invade.

Canada believed that a further resolution was necessary.

John Negroponte said at the time:

[T]his resolution contains no "hidden triggers" and no "automaticity" with respect to the use of force. If there is a further Iraqi breach, reported to the Council by UNMOVIC, the IAEA or a Member State, the matter will return to the Council for discussions as required in paragraph 12. . .If the Security Council fails to act decisively in the event of a further Iraqi violation, this resolution does not constrain any member state from acting to defend itself against the threat posed by Iraq, or to enforce relevant UN resolutions and protect world peace and security.

....Ignatieff now says that specifics was the correct approach since it focused on how intentions shaped consequences. In short, Canada was right and he was wrong.

...and both were irrelevant. Mr. Ignatieff was happy to continue residency in the USA, perfecting his citizenship cloaking device.

Ignatief was weak on torture and wrong on pre emptive war.

That's your defence... LOL....

Ignatieff is a master of double speak and thus a perfect Liberal.

He supports pre emptive war. THis isn't new.

And yes, Ignatieff supported and justified water boarding of Khalid Shiek Mohammud.

The chickens are coming home to roost.

purrrfect! The principal MLW NDP schill aligns himself with the principal Blogging Tory!!!

the premise of your continued out-of-context unprincipled display is that Cheney and Ignatieff agree that torture can sometimes lead to actionable intelligence..... point in fact is that you purposely ignore that Cheney and Ignatieff are diametrically opposed on whether torture should actually be used. No matter how many times you continue to parrot... Ignatieff has explicitly stated he does not support torture.

you've been provided with an Ignatieff quote that offers qualifications for supporting pre-emptive war. Your personal lack of principals continues when you parrot the NDP talking point about pre-emptive war... separate from these qualifications.

He supports Pre Emptive War.

He justifies torture, is an apologist for torture and presented the "lesser Evil" while Abu Graib was happening.

The NDP has talking points???

He justifies torture, is an apologist for torture and presented the "lesser Evil" while Abu Graib was happening.

That's just his "American" side talking....

You leave off much of what Ignatieff actually says on the subject.

I welcome an actual debate on this because we haven't see it yet.
