normanchateau Posted June 21, 2009 Report Posted June 21, 2009 Ignatieff isn't just an academic. No he isn't but the task of Harper supporters, given Harper's rapidly declining reputation even among his supporters, is to find bogus flaws in Ignatieff. Quote

Oleg Bach Posted June 21, 2009 Report Posted June 21, 2009 From professor to professor. Then a prime minister? I doubt it- he will always profess this and that..the world is full of them..to bad he was not an independant man instead of this socially created thing that is a bio-machine. Quote
punked Posted June 21, 2009 Report Posted June 21, 2009 Yes...and an author...and a war reporter.... Cheerleading the war in Iraq up until a year ago does not make him a war reporter Quote
Smallc Posted June 21, 2009 Report Posted June 21, 2009 Ummm...that's not what I was talking about. He was rescued by a Canadian soldier when he was working for the BBC in the former Yugoslavia. Quote

That did happen in one of his fictional books although I can't find anywhere it saying it happened to him. Although I do remember him using the war in Yugoslavia as a jumping off point for his justification for the war in Iraq until last year, which he still wont admit he was wrong about. Quote

Smallc Posted June 21, 2009 Report Posted June 21, 2009 I think he said it in his speech in Vancouver for sure, and I remember hearing it somewhere else. I haven't heard anyone in the media question him on it. Quote
