Acts like a mad dog sociopath.

Seems that make you angry.

The amount of time you put in to posting pro-Liberal media (of any kind no matter how dubious or small) and the time you spend responding here suggests a VERY strong emotional aspect to your efforts. You're not the only guilty offender, but you're the most obvious. You can pretend to act level headed when people start mocking you, but it's your blatant and childish rhetoric that give you away.

Please. The mocking and personalizing, the childishness and anger gives you away. You do it all the time and can't seem to avoid it. I suspect a very strong emotional reason for it.

Isn't sociopathic behaviour being unconcerned with the consequences of ones actions?

Think I was the one that explain that to you.

Yet Harper is the exact opposite in looking to get the right response from his actions to win him favour with a segment of the voting public?

I disagree and I have pointed that out to you as well.

So your label isn't even accurate.

It is 100% accurate.

I didn't even go as far as Andrew Coyne did tonight on that At Issue panel. You should tune in to it tonight.

It is completely inaccurate you know I know it, anyone who is able to reason knows it. Harper is a politician. How does a politician get elected? By having people form a favorable opinion of them through both their actions and marketing of themselves. Politicians are by their nature the antithesis of sociopathic, they are very much concerned about their actions as their jobs depend on the results of those actions.

As does his blocking me over what he contends are my false statements that I am a liberal Democrat. Another time he temporarily blocked me for using colored font.

You mean Harper convinced enough gullible people to think he was a politician.

Oh yes, you don't have one? Or the LPC is paying you to multiply post.

To me, a sociopath is one who can lie without tripping a lie detector, i.e. without anxiety. William Jefferson Clinton fills that bill 100%

Thus a rare time I don't totally agree with you.

I'm afraid I am 100% correct and I think you know it.

by definition of sociopathy you are wrong.

Are you trying to make this topic dull? Harper's succeeding.

I did not vote for the CPC in the last election. I bet you're not of voting age.

I still have a great deal of trouble believing that people trust Stephen Harper...or Michael Ignatieff, more than they trust the Governor General.

Yes that struck me as odd too. But Atla4ever makes a good point that many Canadians, likely not as few as 1 in 20, have no idea who the GG is. I think many of the names were selected because of how well known they are, not so much that they are trusted. I mean how else do you explain Michael J Fox in spot number 5? I guess all those Back to the Future and Teen Wolf movies really struck a cord with many Canadians. I personally am biased towards Rick Mercer, it's not too often that one of us political junkies achieves that level of success in the area of political satire.

Poor Keifer Sutherland "Stand by Me" and "The Lost Boys" never got its due.

To me, branding someone a sociopath requires a medical diagnosis and only a qualified psychiatrist could make such a diagnosis.

Thus a rare time I don't totally agree with you.

I don't agree with dobbin's references to Harper as a sociopath because dobbin is not qualified to make that determination. Although unqualified, dobbin tries hard to psychoanalyze Conservative supporters who post here.

I can't recall branding Harper anything. I said he acts like like a sociopath. Don't think that is a diagnosis. It is an assessment of what I see and lay person can do that. Or do you disagree that only a doctor can assess whether a person is happy, sad or dangerous?

oh the keepitsimple desperation

ok - for what the "poll" is actually worth, it's surprising none of the right-wing climate change deniers keyboards didn't explode with Suzuki ranked as the "most trusted"... hey now... would Stephen Lewis (#4) not be considered a politician (/diplomat) - oh no... he's NDP - more keyboards exploding!!!

as for the "poll" itself, it's an online poll... of an isolated group... that's purposely signed up for "surveys"... in return for "rewards" - certainly not skewed in any way

and while I'm on a roll, that Harper trust extends so far as to have allowed a 30+ point swing gain for Liberals since Ignatieff took the keys... notwithstanding the ever present need to remind that the trust of Harper has repeatedly failed to allow the granting of that ever elusive majority.

you're welcome... carry on

There are so many angry Liberals out there.......

matched by the oh so desperate Conservatives clamoring for anything... anything that could even remotely be leveraged to suggest all is still well in Harper's world - despite what the polls show... despite the 30+ point swing gain for the Liberals/Ignatieff.

an online poll... of an isolated group... that's purposely signed up for "surveys"... in return for "rewards"... yes, don't worry brother/sister Conservatives - all is still well when one can state Harper is #8

You used the term sociopath to describe Harper a number of times with the attachment "mad dog". You may not think you're branding Harper but in fact, you are. Sometimes you don't appear to know yourself what you're doing through your posts.

Or do you disagree that only a doctor can assess whether a person is happy, sad or dangerous?

What a silly question. I think you should stick to political commentary.

I have said I am describing his behaviour many times. And that includes acting like a mad dog.

You are the one who think that assessing someone's behaviour is reserved only for doctors.

What a silly question. I think you should stick to political commentary.

As should you. I can't believe that you think that posters cannot assess behaviour. It is fairly silly assertion.

Ahh...the "I know you are but what am I?" defence. Real smrt.

I have said I am describing his behaviour many times. And that includes acting like a mad dog.

So instead of saying, "You're a desperate party hack lacking any semblance of intelligence/ logic." I need to say, "You ACT like a desperate party hack lacking any semblance of intelligence/logic?"

I mean, I'm not branding you or personalizing...I'm just stating observations of your behavior.

As should you. I can't believe that you think that posters cannot assess behaviour. It is fairly silly assertion.

We can all access behaviour and comment on it. The smarter posters, however, don't use silly technical and rhetorical labels to describe political figures. For someone who refers to the forum rules when someone calls him, "dobby," it's hilarious to see you throwing around 'mad dog sociopath' and such. It's another reason for people to mock you for the pathetic and desperate hack you are ACT like.

For the record, I don't think you're an idiot. I just think you're holding on irrationally tight to the Liberal bandwagon.

No politican will tell you the full truth - no more than a lawyer will inform you fully - wait............politicans are mostly lawyers - we are screwed - To call Harper or anyone else a "trusted" person is like calling CNN the most trusted name in news!
