Guthrie Posted June 12, 2009 Report Posted June 12, 2009 A pretty broad brush you paint with - it will go to court - not all are as you sayBorg no, not so very broad a brush --- the nut jobs who believed this pathetic little charade were very few in number AND mostly fitting the same profile as our disaffected Nazi who finally cracked under the strain of such a powerful and untennable cognitive dissonance as his fellows still strain to endure Quote “Most middle-class whites have no idea what it feels like to be subjected to police who are routinely suspicious, rude, belligerent, and brutal” - Benjamin Spock MD
sharkman Posted June 12, 2009 Report Posted June 12, 2009 (edited) Q - what kind of people believe this birth certificate conspiracy bull?A - nut job nazi murderers - James Von Brunn Apparently Part Of Obama "Birther" Movement Among the myriad of disturbing qualities of James Von Brunn, the 88-year-old man who shot and killed a security officer inside the Holocaust Museum on Wednesday, is his apparent belief that Barack Obama is not a citizen of the United States and therefore has no right to the presidency. The reason it sticks out is that, even among Von Brunn's other characteristics -- including heavy streaks of anti-Semitism, disdain for the federal government, and threads of white supremacy -- being a "birther" has a modicum of political credibility. Certainly, the vast majority of people who are skeptical of Obama's birth in the state of Hawaii tend to be harmless conspiracy theorists. And there has been no suggestion that Von Brunn's distrust of the president's citizenship solely drove him to this violent act. ... http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/06/10/j...l_n_214006.html This particular character deserves his own thread, but the birth certificate thing is at least more legitimate than the 9/11 Bush knew conspiracy, which this extremist also believed. He sounds like a leftwing wacko, so the MSM gives him a wide berth. Edited June 13, 2009 by sharkman Quote

KrustyKidd Posted June 14, 2009 Report Posted June 14, 2009 (edited) Q - what kind of people believe this birth certificate conspiracy bull?A - nut job nazi murderers - Holy shit. Instead of spending hundreds of thousands to stop his original from being seen he could have just shown it and averted this senseless act of violence. The change ($100.000) could have gone to the Palestinians who would have spent it in humanitarian ways to make peace with Israel and build a future.. Oh Lord, the humanity. Obama, show the original and save the Palestinians for crying out loud. And, before the wackos kill again! Edited June 14, 2009 by KrustyKidd Quote We're Paratroopers Lieutenant. Oleg Bach Posted June 14, 2009 Report Posted June 14, 2009 Yah what kind of conspiracey madness was the manipultated re-count in Florida - that let Bush steal the presidency -----get me my tin foil hat...what a bunch of conspiracey crap - when America did not go after Bin Laden and his Saudi Arabian handlers that finance 911 ---let me put on my tin hat a little firmer...and Obama - with Biden at the helm - not born on American soil - but it's okay - If you can kill thousands of civlians and waste thousands of troops and maim 60 thousand american soldiers with the WMD - ruse - I guess that's okay - I had better get another roll of tin foil - Of course Bush was illegal - of course Obama is - so what? I agree...Once Obama's been in office awhile and people find out he doesn't have any magic solutions, they might see the Bush administration in a different light. I think history will be a lot kinder to George Bush than what the current opinion is. Bush was president during a difficult time. Quote
jbg Posted June 18, 2009 Report Posted June 18, 2009 I agree...Once Obama's been in office awhile and people find out he doesn't have any magic solutions, they might see the Bush administration in a different light. I think history will be a lot kinder to George Bush than what the current opinion is. Bush was president during a difficult time. Exactly my views. Reagan (and to a lesser extent GWHB) took the bullets to make Clinton's time in office relatively sunny, both for the economy and foreign affairs. The halcyon Clinton years and matters neglected during them haunted GWB. Quote Free speech: "You can say what you want, but I don't have to lend you my megaphone." Guthrie Posted June 18, 2009 Report Posted June 18, 2009 The current batch of right wing Republicans, is nothing if not a bunch of buck passers --- blame Clinton for everything, excuse the crimes of Bush/Cheney in any way possible -- it is a world view totally separate from reality Quote “Most middle-class whites have no idea what it feels like to be subjected to police who are routinely suspicious, rude, belligerent, and brutal” - Benjamin Spock MD

benny Posted June 19, 2009 Report Posted June 19, 2009 How much would it cost to forge the long form birth certificate that Barry refuses to produce yet, spends hundreds of thousands of dollars to obfuscate? It depends on the degree of realism needed to wreak havoc. Quote
KrustyKidd Posted June 19, 2009 Report Posted June 19, 2009 It depends on the degree of realism needed to wreak havoc. Obviously real enough to spend a virtual fortune on lawyers rather than producing it or, forging another. Whatever, transparency is Bush's style, not Obama's. Despite what he fed the Kookaid Krowd during his bullshit speeches prior to election time. His policies are Bush's, his rhetoric is Carter's. At least he is smart enough not to have them the other way around. All he has to do is come to terms with how messed up his left wing supporters were as once he does, he can move the rhetoric over to match his policies. Quote We're Paratroopers Lieutenant. KrustyKidd Posted June 19, 2009 Report Posted June 19, 2009 Is he? I know he has lawyers representing him in court so unless it is all pro bono then he certainly is.
