85RZ500
Compared to the rest of the possibles he's kind of a breath of fresh air. Some of his ideas are way out there but a time at the reins would temper them down a bit.
Topaz
I will say that I never heard of Hiller and did some reading on him, my first impression from what I read was Mike Harris and not sure as yet.
Cuzzin E
Aside from his loyal group of fringe nutters, it will be very hard for Hillier to win over any of the 416/519/

I don't much about him but he is making it a priority to get the spring bear hunt back. Plus, he doesn't believe in the rules of the Ontario Legislature. http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/capress/090402/...t_pc_leadership The eastern Ontario politician says doing so would inject millions of dollars into the struggling economies of rural and northern Ontario. Some hunting and tourism groups have also called for reinstatement of the hunt, which was cancelled in 1999 to keep the bear population in check.Meanwhile, the Speaker of the legislature has admonished Hillier for using the Queen's Park media studio to launch his leadership campaign. A letter obtained by The Canadian Press shows Hillier had been told not to do so because it violated the rules for the use of government buildings. Leafless
Randy Hillier has announced he will run for the leadership of the Ontario PC Party this week. His chances of winning are best described as less-than-remote.However,one thing he said he would do if he had the power is putting an end to the Ontario Human Rights Commission.GO RANDY GO! At last we have a potential Conservative leader that recognizes McGuinty,s nanny state Ontario is destroying the province as well as discriminating against other cultures. Under current legislation, French-language services are provided in areas where Francophones constitute either 10 per cent of the population or 5,000 people."There may be some discussion about that minimum figure," Hillier said Monday, responding to a reporter's question. "Are we going to do this for everyone? I'm sure there are ... other language groups within the province who might like to share the same idea as French-language services." And then we have have Madeleine Meilleur, the Liberal minister responsible for francophone affairs who says: "This could lead to a reduction in services in certain areas and raises the danger of assimilation," she said. Madeleine Meilleur worried about assimilation after English speaking Canadians have been forced fed French via French cultural imperialism by way of the Charter and French related federal policies. Lol' lol, lol. Please give me a break.
