sharkman Posted February 20, 2009 Report Posted February 20, 2009 There are some things that are slanted (columns and editorials), but there is virtually no slant (if any) when it comes to programs like The National or Politics with Don Newman on TV or The World at Six or The House on Radio. Uh, no. The National was where they would sneer when reporting on Bush, giving the worse possible take on any Bush story. Any Gays story, justice system or Christian faith story also reveals their left wing bias. Their should be no slant in news, except for editorials, and their should certainly be no slant in a publicly funded CBC. Quote
BubberMiley Posted February 20, 2009 Report Posted February 20, 2009 I don't think "their" is any way to report on a story without creating some kind of slant. Quote "I think it's fun watching the waldick get all excited/knickers in a knot over something." -scribblet
Vancouverite Posted February 20, 2009 Author Report Posted February 20, 2009 The Passionate Eye seems pretty anti-American. At least, from what I can see, though I don't watch it very often. Quote
Oleg Bach Posted February 20, 2009 Report Posted February 20, 2009 The Passionate Eye seems pretty anti-American. At least, from what I can see, though I don't watch it very often. CBC is a European style elite socialist operation. They as the rich and privledged lefties of Europe hope for the utter fall of America the money laden bully. If the CBC had it's way...we would all be gay and riding bikes to work at the drug intervension centre where we would practice "harm reduction" by making sure that dopers were professionally councelled on how to be proper infection free addicts. Smallc Posted February 21, 2009 Report Posted February 21, 2009 and there should certainly be no slant in a publicly funded CBC. There isn't much of one at all if any. Where the slant exists is in your mind. Quote
sharkman Posted February 21, 2009 Report Posted February 21, 2009 (edited) Actually, the slant exists in the mind of those who are right of center. It'a a vast right wing conspiracy, Hillary was right, and we're coming to get you. And Bubber. He's in on it too, notice he said all reporting has a bias. Edited February 21, 2009 by sharkman Quote
