That was neat, the video not the aircraft. Layout looks pretty scatological. Did you get a load of the artificial horizon. Works the opposite of western horizons.

Have you been to Duxford? Do if you ever get the chance. A must for any aircraft enthusiast and an heck of an armoured museum as well.

Yes! Russian cockpits are weird. The Blinder was a bit of a 'bear' to fly, I understand.

One of these was a regular @ Abbotsford.

Ormand Haydon Ballie's Sea Fury maybe? He was a Brit in the RCAF based at Cold Lake. He also had the Black Knight T-33. He was killed in the late seventies flying his P-51 in Germany. He was also a great scrounge. The Fury was painted by the CP Air paint shop in Vancouver and the Black Night by Wardair in Edmonton.

The Sea Fury was a beast. 2500 HP from the Centarus engine. It was one of the few (maybe the only) piston engined fighters to shoot down a Mig in Korea.

You might be correct, there. I was going to say the F-82 downed a few MiGs at the start of the war but it was just Yaks (first aircraft shot down in Korea mind you).
