I don't know Guyser, what kind of meat does a priest eat on Friday?

If it is a choice between them and us, I choose us

I would say he doesn't seem afraid of islam at all.
It's the secular version of the crime of offending Islam, called "offending Turkishness".

If an Islamic lawyer demands that a soccer team from Britain be stripped of it's title because of the british cross on their jersey is offensive - isn't HE the one being bigotted against other cultures?

Yet somehow it's those who shed light on such occurences that are branded "racists".

Strange self-flagellating world we live in.

Hardly, Political Islam is only getting started. Jerseys one day, MAClains Magazine the next day and internet forums will be on the list eventually. They mean to silence any opposing voice, using our liberals laws against us.

It's not Islamphobia it's Islamification of our culture, lest we offend.

Carry on with your mindless drivel Dancer, I use to think you belonged on the "Little Yellow Bus" but now I'm convinced you and Margrace need the "Special Van" to go to shop.

As soon as you bring out these idea that it's a crime to offend, you define your argument as donut-shop talk not worthy of serious debate.

It isn't, nor has it even been illegal to offend.

If their complaint is baseless, then so is yours.

Looks like someone has a new patronizing catch phrase !

That's for sure. Grand Mufti Sheikh Hilaly would have been locked-up for his "raw meat" comments, otherwise. Now he gets to retire comfortably w/ pension in the country he bad-mouthed.

Ah...freedom of speech.

If you have a significant religious leader like this preaching to a flock in a situation where we've had gang rapes, in a way that seems to make it justifiable, or at least lighten the dehumanising and degrading extent of the offence, then people that listen to that kind of comment can get the wrong idea.

Ooopps forgot to add this....

Hilaly at play.

Don't think I've ever seen him crack a smile before.

That's incredible. Imagine seven million people all wanting to live together. Yeah, New York must be the friendliest place on earth.
