bush_cheney2004 Posted November 6, 2007 Report Posted November 6, 2007 Is it a competition? Yes, and a lot of practical math. I wonder how many Allied troops died in 1944 compared to 1941...damn...should have quit in '43!! Quote Economics trumps Virtue.

Topaz Posted November 7, 2007 Report Posted November 7, 2007 Is the surge working or just changing location to Afghanistan? This is now a war between the west and the east and even though the Taliban and alQueda aren't friendly, alot of the muslims and others who hate the west, most America, will keep fighting because they feel they have nothing to lose and everything to gain! and its hard to say how Iraq is going to ended up, the country is so destroyed by the bombs and alot of the richer Iraqis moved out and it will be years before they can come back. How can the US help to reconstruct this country when itself, is about to go into a recession, thanks to Bush spending. When Iraq was called Persia, Khan went into that country and killed a million people, Bush has done the same. Quote

Moxie Posted November 8, 2007 Report Posted November 8, 2007 Of course I am correct....it's the same sort of pretext that got Canada to bomb Serbia. Now get with the program Bush, the US is evil and Canada is home to the Blue Berets. You get to shoot at your enemies our peaceniks glorify Peace Keeping whilst our soldiers stand with their hands tied by Peacekeeping ROEs. Genocide takes place and we can do nothing but watch, isn't PeaceKeeping NOBLE. Oh yes Serbia, please enlighten the un-enlightened BC. Thats what we did with Germany. Thats what we did with Japan. And look at Germany and Japan now. Excellent rehab stories - why? Because we pulverised them. Because we didn't have a fucked up bleeding heart attitude toward war, expecting battles with no casualties - expecting us to restrain from blasting a residential building from which rocket fire is coming. Surge I say...and surge some more! Quote
