  1. I'd like to see that poll if you still have it. thx As for media bias, I think we should encourage this actually. Have journalist openly attack the left/right figure heads, show the two sides of stories and let the viewer decide where they fall and what channel they want to watch. All we get to see now is a very small spectrum of stories with "unbiased" journalist for fear of offending people and losing ratings. I say, let them offend us. We might of actually heard about the 300 000 strong rally in Chicago last week or the liberal fraud earlier or that British commandos were caught with a car filled with explosives in Iraq. These are all stories that were barely mentioned in the news. And those stories that are barely mention are the more important ones to watch out for. I have seen some importand information get swept under the rug or a little blurb was done about it, and no follow up. CNN.com is great for this. I read an importand article (well I think it is important) then it gets thrown into the back links.
  2. http://www.cnn.com/2006/US/03/26/WTC.911.calls/index.html Some 9/11 emergency calls were released to vicitms families this week it seems. One person calls it 'crass'. Why not release the information in full? Why edit it? Why only have the dispatchers and 911 operators voices on the tapes? Why can't we hear what went on? Out of respect for the dead? \ Privacy rights? I call bull, when the NSA can tap your phone at anytime, don't even start with me on privacy rights. I hope the kin give the go ahead to release it to the public. I think those full tapes have something we all need to hear. Agreed?
  3. MONTY!!!! Have YOU read the Patriot Act? I have not. But I would like too.
  4. Why is Carlson not at CNN anymore? The little pundit got owned by a satiricle news show host. Carlson tucker'd his tail between his legs and in shame left for another network. THAT is why no one watches him. He did not garner any respect from the incident. Far from me to defend Tucker Carlson, but you can't blame the guy for leaving an afternoon show to star in your own primetime show. And Stewart never owned anyone. He made a complete ass out of himself then went on to host the Oscars resulting in the 2nd lowest Oscar ratings in history. That's why no one watched. He made a fool out of himself. He's a 2nd rate cable television comic whose shtick is to look at the camera and make "funny" faces. He can stay on cable where he belongs and I doubt he will asked back to host the Oscars. From the New York Times about Carlson leaving.
  5. That is like having a criminal trial with false evidence. I don't buy it. Impeach Bush.
  6. Contact former Clinton national security advisor Sandy Berg(l)er--the guy who was caught stuffing classified documents down his pants from the National Archives prior to testifying in front of the 9-11 commission. He stole something like 50 classified documents and shredded them. If you are unaware of this, don't feel bad. The MSM completely buried this scandal. Why? Because Berg(l)er isn't a Republican. If a Republican had done this, it would have been the top news story for at least a month straight. Obviously the scandal-ridden Clinton administration had something to hide. Hopefully he got lots of paper cuts on his genitals. Saved any of those links?? We should pay attention to who was in charge when and of what during both of these administrations. I have moved away from the big bank heist theory, and just am concentrating on #7 I am also aware that the Bush admin is going into the National Archives and reclassifying a whack load of documents that should not have made declassified. So what are they pulling from the shelves? Why is that important? Clinton AND Bush Jr, did not really know the scope of what went on. They may be the CEO but they do not control the military's day to day movement. But I think Bush knows more than Clinton, and he knows more of what went on. Got links? Yes and Yes. Some of them are over the top with the whole conspiracy, and you can find alot on Google videos. http://www.serendipity.li/wot/wtc_other.htm http://www.whatreallyhappened.com/wtc7.html After 1 and 2 fell, you can clearly see 7 standing tall. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=91...4449011&q=wtc+7 Fire Fighters from NY in the french brothers documentary, this was not in the CBS aired movie I saw. These guys can be seen throuout that film. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-6...8152003&q=wtc+5 The is a new one I found for WTC 7 http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=84...3265979&q=wtc+5 This is a long movie from another angle http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-3...7461603&q=wtc+7 This is an interesting documentary. Aftermath http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&sll=...16,0.014634&t=h Check out the map, looks where 1 and 2, and where 7 stood, notice no damage to the other two buildings on either side of where 7 was. ODD?? I have more... let you chew on this for a while.
  7. That's the big question, why wouldn't they just admit that they blew it up for structural damange? Why wasn't 5 and 6 damaged being alot closer to 1 and 2? So here is where I grab my tinfoil hat and setup my security system (aka. put a glass bottle on the foot door handle). Documents or something that would be better not found inside 7? How would they even go in to rigg 5 and 6? They are not safe for humans to be near it, I guess it was solid enough to get in there and rig the explosives. Or again would this have to be done before? When was 5 and 6 brought down?
  8. Who said anything about democracizing? Liberators, state builders, democracy bringing, these are the goals of the US of A!!
  9. OK no motive for profit. Then what other motives can we relate to this? WTC #7 is the focus of my investigation. You have Silverstien on a PBS documentary saying they 'pulled' the building. How does one rig a building to be pulled. Especialy with fires raging on several floors. (but they claimed they were small fires. How many died in WTC7?? As far as I know. None. IF 7 came down on it's own, 5 and 6 should have been CRUSHED to the ground and they were in between 1,2 and 7. And I hope Sheen is just the start.

  11. OH and a recent CNN poll said that 81% who polled thought the US government covered up 9/11 http://edition.cnn.com/CNN/Programs/showbiz.tonight/ Yep, time for a real investigation.
  12. I calculated and took an average of 30 people being killed every day there. Now that may be a bit high, but some times it is 10 sometimes it is 100 for the day. So even if 30/day over the last 3 years gives me 30 x 3 x 365 = 32,850 I think that number is low personaly. But this is just an average. I would guess that the numbers are closer to 100,000 deaths. This still pales in comparison to the 1-2 million infants and childeren who were systematically starved to death under the 10 year UN sanction program. Keep those numbers rolling if Saddam is still in power and you'll see your US "invasion" looks like a cakewalk compared to the "Saddam in power" alternative. Keep up the good work GWB. And go check for the last 30 years how many sanctions the US has voted yes on. And see what other countries were involved. The list goes on. Terrible
  13. What's wrong with puppet regimes? For one that article newbie, shows that the crime rate is at a steady low for 5 years compared to the early 90s. And the population is much higher.... HOWEVER.. Harmid Karzai - Democraticly elected President of Afghanistan. The law of the land is the Sharia Law, based on Islamic law. Recall what the law of the land was when the Taleban was ruling? Sharia Law Two bits from this article is of importance : and And now they want to execute a man for having converted to Christianity? I don't believe the hype brother. I cannot buy this or swallow this.
  14. Regean did not win the cold war - the soviet union would have collapsed on its own at the end of the 80s no matter what Reagan did because of its flawed economic model. The soviet union was able to keep going in the 70s because the high price of oil provided enough cash to keep the machinery working. When the price of oil collapsed the system could not sustain itself. Good theory but with no evidence. Reagan obviously won the cold war. I know guys, it's hard to take. Just live with it. Do not forget that the US went into a depression in the mid 70's when it almost ran out of oil. OPEC shut the taps of really for the US's support of Israel during the October War on 1973. The US used about 70% of all oil produced globaly during those years. The US was forced to actually buy oil on the open markets at a higher cost and a higher price at the pumps. Russia was in a mad spending spree to keep up with the US, the their economy needed a restructuring to accomodate the world markets, It just did not seem to fit. They ran out of cash, even with selling off technology and gear to other nations, they could not even pay their military anymore. Russia went broke. It was a flawed system that was doomed to fail, as I see capitolism eventualy failing as well. Now Congress allows a bill to go through that will allow the US's national debt to slip from the current 6.2 trillion to 9 trillion dollars. This prevented the US from actually defaulting on some loans for the first time ever. The thing is now, oil markets are moving to the Euro. Plain and simple. The Europeans knew what they had to do. Lay down the hate and work together. Now everyone wants to deal with the Euro. Fresh new unified market. Iraq wanted to deal with the Euro. Iran wants to sell their oil in the Euro. I think Russia deals with the Euro and the Dollar. And hey, Russia's economy is getting better, still has a way to go, but it seems to be on the right track. Once people buy into the Euro on the oil market (US dollar being the dominant right now) they are going to ditch the greenback. The US will have to pay out somehow, but with a debt slipping to 9 trillion, don't expect things to get easier. And that will affect Canada's economy as well in a large way.
  15. Oh man, I need to get my cable connected so I can watch that show. Hilarious stuff. This man is a nutjob for sure. Today we brainwash 100,000 kids, tomorrow we plan 250,000 for our education system so they won't be brainwashed. That man is a riot!
  16. Hahaha, lemme get my tinfoil hat on now. I read the whole article, and without the math I cannot even begin to understand (math is NOT my strong point) the scope of the research and investigation is slim to none. Based on two models that may not really be real world by any means. I don't have time to nit pick on it right now, but I will point out some weirdness to it. Anyone who has read this thread but have not replied, please read that article in the PDF format. Interesting stuff.
  17. Well one PDF you should peruse is the report on the twin towers fires from the National Institute of Standards and Technology. Wow! Thanks for this link, I am gonna read as much as I can here at work, and dig into it more later. I am already finding things wrong with this report. Ugh, I shall report back.
  18. No need to buy it if you don't need a paper copy: it is available from the 9/11 Commission site as a PDF: http://www.9-11commission.gov/report/index.htm I am going to be better off buying the book. I really despise PDFs, makes my FireFox hurt. OK not really, makes me cringe Maybe I can buy it, and read the PDF and compare.

  20. I can. We're laughed at worldwide for our sickening patriotism. Our military wants to help out in afghanistan but needs to hitch a ride from the USA. Our national animal is the beaver. We actually believe we are cooler than americans because our beer has an extra 0.5% alcohol, and our prime minister, when addressing the UN gets the PRIME spot between azerbajan and uruguay. You have absolutely no link, no evidence whatsoever to back up the statement that Canada is "a global joke". Just your rightwing attitude and nothing more. Nothing substantive, nothing quantitative, nothing period. Canada -- LOVE it or LEAVE it! I can get behind that, love it or leave it. We all have the choice to live here or somewhere else. If Canada is not for you, due to whatever reasons, then get out. Simple and easy as that. If you hate Canada and the attitudes it has, get out. This is another thing that is Canadian is bitching about anything and everything but hoping someone else will cure your problems. I like Americans for the most part, I really REALLY despise the government they have, have not really liked any administration in the past 20 years.
  21. We only have room for one judicial system. As far as I know, Sharia Law has been shot down in Canada across the board. I am glad this got shot down, and even the jewish tribunals abolished. This is being progressive.
  22. Actually, the US is suffering from that today as well. Yes, another good straight across comparison. The USA and the former soviet union. Very similar. you are hilarious. No over spending in the US? Then why is the national debt allowed to slip to 9 trillion? That is not chump change. That is nothing to laugh at.
  23. Self-serve checkouts will do for retailing what ATMs did for banking. They add value by allowing more checkouts and thus reducing people's wait time. This continues a trend which has extended from gas-stations to banks. I envisioin a day, where there will be a touchscreen at evey table in a resturant where you can place your order. Will it eliminate jobs? Absolutely, and that's the way it should be. We shouldn't be using expensive labour to replace something which can be done more efficiently by automation. All the more reason why people should be constantly upgrading their skills to make sure they are not redundant. As long as the transaction does not cost me a 1.50 every time I use 'another checkout'. Also if I decide to use a live cashier they wont charge me out the nose for that either (banks are horrible for this) I would not mind the scan and dash method. This poses another question : If stuff messes up, who takes responsibility to correct any errors? Hopefully the Manger or hmm cashier will be able to fix any mistakes. I work in the IT, and to tell you the truth, the Internet is held together with spit and tissue paper. Transactions may fail.
  24. Now that is a lie. I know for sure he called himself a "war president." And Kerry was a flip flopper??
  25. Todays News. http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2006/03/21/...in1424701.shtml That would have been done if they did not get a warrent in time it seems. But going by the FBI Agent testimony of yesterday, they had plenty of warnings and oppourtunities to arrest Moussaoui. Moussaoui's roomate even testfied against him. Although you cannot really beleive him for he lied to the authorities. And they are trying to prove through this trial that Moussaoui has to have been directly charged with one death. Also you get Moussaoui lying to Samit, and Samit lying to the FBI when they were both detained before 9/11. And now Samit said that he tried to get the FBI to listen to him to investigate Zacarias before 9/11. To get the death penalty .... And if he does not get the death penalty sentence, then he is innocent and should be set free. For that concludes that he had NO DEALINGS with the 9/11 attacks. So, if that fails what else could they charge him for? I have no doubts this jury will find him guilty of causing one death from the attacks to prevent that from happening. Interesting stuff no?
