    If the price of oil is high, environmentalists proclaim that oil is too expensive, so we need to move away from fossil fuels. If the price of oil is low, environmentalists proclaim that oil is worthless, so we need to move away from fossil fuels. Some how the price of oil alone always justifies moving away from fossil fuels.
