  1. Yes, very much so. Although realistically we need to persuade someone to put soldiers in there to dig the roaches out of their holes and kill them all.
  2. I am thoroughly confused about what this has to do with the subject?
  3. I'm sure he will immediately join a terrorist group and start killing rock fans.
  4. Whose wealth do you want to distribute? I'm guessing not yours.
  5. I really don't understand what your point is. All those things, pimping, prostitution, addiction, spousal abuse, sex assaults incest, etc., happen in the Muslim world, as well, and probably more often. How does that mean we should ignore the terrorism?
  6. You certainly don't know much about religions if you think that. There are many parts of the Koran which call upon Muslims to treat non-believers badly, and they have over the years answered those calls time and time again. Qur'an (5:51) - "O you who believe! do not take the Jews and the Christians for friends; they are friends of each other; and whoever amongst you takes them for a friend, then surely he is one of them; surely Allah does not guide the unjust people." Qur'an (5:80) - "You will see many of them befriending those who disbelieve; certainly evil is that which their souls have sent before for them, that Allah became displeased with them and in chastisement shall they abide." Those Muslims who befriend unbelievers will abide in hell. Qur'an (3:28) - "Let not the believers Take for friends or helpers Unbelievers rather than believers: if any do that, in nothing will there be help from Allah: except by way of precaution, that ye may Guard yourselves from them..." This last part means that the Muslim is allowed to feign friendship if it is of benefit. Renowned scholar Ibn Kathir states that "believers are allowed to show friendship outwardly, but never inwardly." Qur'an (3:118) - "O you who believe! do not take for intimate friends from among others than your own people, they do not fall short of inflicting loss upon you; they love what distresses you; vehement hatred has already appeared from out of their mouths, and what their breasts conceal is greater still; indeed, We have made the communications clear to you, if you will understand." This verse not only warns Muslims not to take non-Muslims as friends, but it establishes the deep-seated paranoia that the rest of the world is out to get them. Qur'an (9:23) - "O ye who believe! Choose not your fathers nor your brethren for friends if they take pleasure in disbelief rather than faith. Whoso of you taketh them for friends, such are wrong-doers" Even family members are not to be taken as friends if they do not accept Islam. (This is the mildest interpretation of this verse from the 9th Sura, which also advocates "slaying the unbeliever wherever ye find them"). Qur'an (53:29) - "Therefore shun those who turn away from Our Message and desire nothing but the life of this world." Qur'an (3:85) - "And whoever desires a religion other than Islam, it shall not be accepted from him, and in the hereafter he shall be one of the losers." Qur'an (3:10) - "(As for) those who disbelieve, surely neither their wealth nor their children shall avail them in the least against Allah, and these it is who are the fuel of the fire." Those who do not believe in Muhammad are but fuel for the fire of Hell (also 66:6, 2:24. 21:98). Qur'an (7:44) - "The Companions of the Garden will call out to the Companions of the Fire: "We have indeed found the promises of our Lord to us true: Have you also found Your Lord's promises true?" They shall say, "Yes"; but a crier shall proclaim between them: "The curse of Allah is on the wrong-doers" Muslims in heaven will amuse themselves by looking down on non-Muslims in Hell and mocking them while they are being tortured (see 22:19-22. http://www.thereligionofpeace.com/quran/009-friends-with-christians-jews.htm
  7. Most of them just came here in hopes of escaping extreme poverty. I don't believe they left their religious beliefs behind.
  8. Says who? I've been there and attacks are extremely rare based on race except when coming from non-Whites. The exception is the UK which has an unfortunate drinking and brawling culture. In my experience by far the most violent group in Europe are the immigrants and children of immigrants from the Muslim world. They have been involved in countless attacks against white people especially women, in the UK, France, Sweden, Norway and Denmark.
  9. All of whom seem to be journalists, and mostly Arab journalists. I've seen this meme before. That it happens to be pretty much nonsense doesn't seem to stop people from continuing to talk about it as if it were factual. The truth is that if being attacked for your religious beliefs made people into terrorists the Jews would be the world's number one terrorist group, exploding themselves all across the planet. Very rarely do you find that people who join terrorist groups are victims of any sort. Usually they are young people with nothing in their lives to inspire them who get caught up in what they think of as the excitement and daring and rebellion of these armed groups. In the ME itself, a lot of the time you find that the front line fighters for the Taliban in Afghanistan or ISIS, are poor people being paid to take up arms. Bombing them doesn't encourage them, it kills them. One of the reasons ISIS launched this attack in Paris was because they had nothing lately to brag about to encourage its followers. Their attacks in the ME have been stymied by bombing attacks and their territorial gains rolled back. There have always been those who want to appease, in hopes the violent men will find another target. But history has shown this to be a temporary thing. The violent men will always turn back against you, knowing you are weak and spineless. As ISIS said in its video. "Even if you leave, we will follow you to the ends of the earth and destroy you in Allah's name."
  10. A disturbing story today on the emergence of a new super bug which is immune to all antibiotics. When you think of how often we use antibiotics to combat various infections the implications are staggering and the death toll from previous, easy to treat infections could be enormous. Hundreds of thousands a year already die due to antibiotic resistant bugs. That number could easily grow to tens of millions. Bacteria becoming completely resistant to treatment - also known as the antibiotic apocalypse - could plunge medicine back into the dark ages. Common infections would kill once again, while surgery and cancer therapies, which are reliant on antibiotics, would be under threat. http://www.bbc.com/news/health-34857015
  11. Because they're animals. Animals don't think complicated thoughts. The bulk of the fighters are there to rape and kill and enjoy themselves doing so. Their leaders are religious kooks who want to expand their power in that region. They don't care about Europe.
  12. But not in a vacuum. They did so to placate political opinion in Canada which had been turned against the mission by the liberals and ndp, and their allied media resources.
  13. I don't accept journalists as experts on complicated situations, and particularly those from the area involved, who are prone to being biased w/r one side or the other.
  14. I watched him interviewed, where he said security was their most important concern, and was not challenged. If I had been there I would have said that no, security was clearly not the most important thing to you. Getting them here in a month is the most important thing to you, for political reasons. The federal government will inevitably have to cut some corners on security screening to achieve its ambitious goal of bringing in 25,000 Syrian refugees by year-end, said current and former security sources http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/national/canadas-syrian-refugees-target-may-require-screening-shortcuts-security-sources-allege/article27316488/
  15. The whole effort to expose and deter government security and monitoring efforts has been a tremendous help for terrorists, as are efforts at restraining government from carrying out physical actions against terrorist groups and training bases, and the endless hand-wringing and posturing any time there is incidental collateral damage. Even the fact government can't simply arrest and detain or even expel extremist Muslims is a huge aid to their sympathizers in places like France and Canada. These people, collectively, are a danger to our societies. Why spend a fortune following them around everywhere and bugging their phones? We know what they are. There are only a few hundred or a few thousand in each country. Boot them out! If there are no laws which allow that then change the laws.
  16. They were carried out by earlier refugees and their children. The fact remains they were carried out by Muslims.
  17. That does not suggest that the FBM isn't being practiced primarily by the Muslim portion of their population. But rarely by Christians or Jews. Issues of women being held to a far, far, far, far higher standard of moral behaviour than men?
  18. From your cite. It is important to note, however, that, according to the 2011 National Household Survey, 88% of the Muslim population were also members of visible minority groups such as Arab and West Asian or South Asian, and may also be targeted by hate crimes motivated by race or ethnicity The total number of incidents for the whole year across the whole country was 65 and he majority were 'mischief'. Gee, I guess we should call a state of emergency over this, huh? I just don't understand why some people are determined to exaggerate things like this into some kind of terrible crisis.
  19. I hold peacemongers as even more responsible than the terrorists. The terrorists do what they do. They are animals, after all. It is the peacemongers who aid and assist them at every opportunity by doing everything in their power to restrain the authorities from dealing with them.
  20. In what way? The bulk of murders in Canada fall into two categories. The first is criminals killing criminals. The second is relationship killing. So if you are going to be killed by a white person it is your girlfriend, or someone you are involved in crimes with.
  21. In context of the anti-black actions of some people, the anti-white actions of some people, the anti-jewish actions of some people, the anti-gay actions of some people, and the anti-everything else actions of some people, this is not a story of merit.
  22. You have no basis for such defeatism. This is a group of extremists whose only reasons for military success is the incompetence of those opposing them and the fractured nature of Arab politics. It is EASILY within the capabilities of virtually any competent military to destroy the bulk of their active followers and leave the others in hiding in widely scattered locations. They are all along the borders with Turkey and Israel, and the reason they don't try to attack them is they know they'd get their heads handed to them. And their only real appeal is success. Arabs love someone who has a big pair of balls and these guys have them. Cut their balls off and most of their admirers will fall away. Your belief in the ineffectiveness of drone strikes harkens back to one organization doing a review in one location, and runs contrary to what the UN and other agencies have reported on drone strokes in Afghanistan over the years. Drone and bombing raids have halted their ability to make major military movements. This was done to give the idiots in Iraq time to get their act together, but it is taking more time than most would like. They demonstrate how big their balls are, which creates more admirers for them among a certain set of idiotic, nihilistic young Muslims.
  23. More importantly. People seem to think that anything anyone else says that they don't like matters in some way.
  24. See, now you're backsliding again. You don't have a choice but to tolerate what people say. It's not up to you. And again, that's especially so given there is no agreed upon definition of either racism or 'hate', other than what's in the criminal code on hate speech. Calling it out is entirely different from suppressing it.
