    We don't know because we don't keep statistics and because such things remain within the community. We know it happens in the UK and In France and in other western countries, so we know it happens here. We just don't know how often.

    Germany can take them all. They're a big part of the problem to being with. These huge masses of people desperately heading north only became an impossible issue after Angela Merkel announced that Germany would ignore EU rules that refugees had to apply in the first EU member they landed and would accept any Syrian who got there through whatever means.

    The difference is that the original quote identifed the UN report, so the actual data can be validated quite easily. The site it came from is therefore without any importance. In the case of using immigration lawyers and their own 'study' no such validation can occur. We can rely on the UN not to lie. We can't rely on whoever the lawyers paid to cherry pick data to be honest.

    Exactly. Which is why just saying this is against the law isn't enough. We need to make it abundantly clear that in our society and culture we completely reject the whole mindset behind all these practices, regardless of whether it comes from culture or nationality or religion. And that if they're going to come and live here they damn well better reject it too.

    But it IS barbaric cultural practices which tolerate such things, the cultural practice of identifying women and anything about women which smacks of sexuality or independence as anathema. It is the barbaric cultural practice which sees women of any age, and their sexuality as owned by their husbands and families, and not by the women themselves. And it is the barbaric cultural practice of enforcing men's possession of that sexuality by force to preserve his 'honor'. Calling such practices barbaric tells them we don't think it's honorable at all. You're not going to be a martyr when you go to jail for doing any of that here, just a criminal.

    You have no evidence that a lot of immigrants are trying to escape such things. You have no evidence a substantial number of immigrants come to Canada to reject the cultural and religious practices of their homeland. These are barbaric cultural practices, and by telling them that we make it crystal clear that this isn't just a matter of a 'stupid law' that was put in place, but that we completely reject and denounce a culture or value system which says it's okay to do anything you want to women, however violent. No, you can't marry them off as children against their will. No, you can't beat them or cut them so they don't enjoy sex. All that crap from your homeland is barbaric and if you're going to stay here you need to reject it too.

    Yes. If 92% of the adult women in a culture, as in Egypt, have been subjected to genital mutilation I think we can safely say that this is part of the culture and nationality. And if somewhere between 70%-90% of women in Pakistan are subjected to domestic abuse I think we can safely say that is part of their culture and nationality too.

    I don't want a prime minister who cries all the time. And his so-called compassion doesn't extend to him not being delighted to make use of the refugee crises to further his own political aims. OH! LOOK AT HOW COMPASSION AT I AM! VOTE FOR ME! I'M MUCH NICER AND KINDER THAN THOSE GUYS! How much of his own money is multi millionaire Trudeau going to donate to help refugees? He could easily give a million or two and have lots left! Why isn't he!? I bet Trudeau is praying there's more pictures of dead children so he can hold the picture up and give us his sad puppy dog eyes.

    Oh yeah, if only I could find unbiased non-partisan sources like you posting immigration lawyers defending immigration! These stories have been all over the news. You can find them from the BBC, The Mirror, Mail, Telegram and others. There are government reports being quoted, and court cases cited. Don't give me any of your crap about the cite. They all agree that the reason thousands of young girls were raped and molested without the authorities doing anything was because they were all like YOU, so precious and politically correct that they didn't dare utter a peep of condemnation about MUSLIM IMMIGRANTS. They even accused child protection officers of racism when they wanted to start investigations into claims white girls were being raped by gangs of Muslim men! They don't keep stats based on religion, no, which IT SAYS IN THE CITE. But they do keep stats on how many of the rapes are being committed by non-Swedes. And they're all Muslims. In fact, the statistics understate the case since Muslim immigrants who are now Swedish citizens won't appear as anything other then Swedish! But the Swedish government is even more desperately politically correct than the authorities in the UK were when they overlooked all those child rapes.
