I notice you live in Winnipeg. I am also a resident of the City of Winnipeg and in my neighbourhood I see young adults attending school and working in the service industry to support themselves. Contrary to the picture you wish to portray I am sure the vast majority of teens want to make a decent living through gainful employment. You seem to infer, perhaps through your employment, a knowledge of the personal finances of certain individuals 18 years of age without attributing the nature and scope of this knowldege.

My ancestors on my father's side of the family came from Austria-Hungary at the turn of the 20th century. I am doing a genealogical search to determine the villages my grandparents came from before coming to North America. While I had always thought they were of the Catholic faith I have been in contact with a relative suggesting a Jewish connection. Mind you I was baptized Unitarian and attended a variety of churches in my youth while on my path to atheism.

I certainly am not a supporter of either of the two major parties. Proportional representation is the path that should be followed but that will be blocked by both of the major parties as it doesn't serve their purposes.
