I'm not a Dipper but I'm optimistic that the CPC will be greatly affected (in a negative way) by these calls and their (and their supporters)utter disdain for democracy. Also, I'd love to see this rock the party as a whole and I hope it does. Love, Hope and Optimism for others, there you go.

This I agree with. It is far more punishment to have to spend the rest of your life in jail than to gently drift off to death with the prick of a needle. Not to mention it's far cheaper (if we use the US as an example, oh no... here comes BC) to keep someone incarcerated than to put them to death. This is of course before we even bring up the cases of the wrongfully convicted and innocents that have been put to death.

You know, I'm surprised at the Booster Clubs reaction here. I would think that they would be calling for a full investigation as loud as anyone else. Is suspected voter suppression/electoral fraud such a small issue for you all?

What about this whole situation adds up for you? It's common sense, if the Brass across the country are running around trying to find dirt on Opposition MP's to "help" the CPC, why would it be a stretch to see the Flight Crew on TV repeating the lie?

If it walks like a duck etc... If the Military brass are busy digging through logs to help out the Conservatives it's not a huge leap to believe that the flight crew did as they were told and said what they were supposed to. After reading how the Military has been politicized through this, I wouldn't believe those guys for anything at this point.

We should never forget that scandal, and certainly learn from it so it never happens again. Having said that, what makes me laugh is that this Gov't campaigned on transparency, honesty and openess and have been any but, yet when a sniff of a scandal comes out, they trot out Adscam like some tired old queen that can be used a few more times.

Still think it was a waste of money. This should read "outright lies, attempted cover up, misuse of Military resources to back their cover up attempt" We should all be outraged over the latter part. The politicization of the Military is a VERY slippery slope.
