And he wasn't claiming Harper is a would be dictator. Doesn't change the fact Harper is evasive as to whether or not he would consider trying to (legally) form the government in the case if a NDP victory. If he is gonna stick to his conviction that only the party with the most seats should form the government, shouldn't he say so?

Now, if Harper attempted to form a government after finishing second (which will not happen, btw), it would be perfectly legal and within our democratic rules. If that happened, I would find it very funny to see him explain his sudden change of position. You would probably find excuses for him.

What part of fact it took a SPECIAL PERMISSION from the State of Hawaii for the long form to be issued is beyond your capacity to comprehend? All of it it seems. It is unlikely such a permission would have been granted a few years ago. It basically took both Obama and the state authorities having enough of the whole circus for it to happen. Now that the circus stopped, of course. It only took hours for birthers to start claiming that it was a forgry. If those morons were magically brought back to the very moment and place Barack Hussein Obama II was born, they'd still find a way to argue it's not true. And it is likely you would find somebody to fault baby Barack for.

Considering that most Canadians don't think this is an important issue, there is not much for him to gain or lose in terms of votes. The unproven allegations, on the other end, could be poisonous to whichever party (and I don't think any party is behind them) would be doing it.

Unless members of Metro council could serve on the City budget committee, I wonder how he could have been a member of the city budget committee in 1996.
