I wonder how leafless will deal with the known fact that many in Quebec saw multiculturalism as an Anglo plot lead by Trudeau to dilute Quebec identity.
-
Knowledge is really not your forte, now is it? The French language is not dead in Canada. And Canada is a CANADIAN country. Whether you like it or not. Unless of course you want to make a fool of yourself by arguing that I am not really Canadian.
-
It's Monday evening and I need a good laugh. So pray tell, why would it be such a bad thing if I got access to a federal government computer?
-
Irrelevant. The only english country is ENGLAND. This is Canada, whether you like it or not. Your daughter wants to chose Spanish as the second language she will study? Good for her. I hope that when she is an adult she won't whine like her father and make ignorant statements like "this is an English country" when she realizes that learning the languages of more than one Canadian out of 5 would not have been a bad idea after all.
-
In other words, once again, a figment of your imagination.
-
English translation, please.

Let me check here. Even when you get something right (the 1 million figure)))))), you manage to get things wrong The noun Francophone is defined is the Oxford and Merriam dictionaries as meaning someone who speakes French. The Cambridge dictionary defines a Francophone as someone whose first language is French. It is a well-known fact that in Canada the term is usally used to define someone whose first language is French. In other words, logic shows that someone may be a Francophone (that is speaks French as his/her first language) and bilingual (that is able to use two languages) or even multilingual (more than two languages). Of course, these are definition from the English language. I fully expect you to stick to the leaflish definition.
-
Nope. He just defined ignrance.

News to you. A culture is not an ideology, and an ideology is not a culture. And as a Canadian who has not, does not, will not, and most definintely does not have to assimilate into any Emglish-speaking culture, as someone whose ancestors have been part of the building of one of the best countries in the world, I am the living proof that you do not have a clue. But don't worry, I do not expect you to ever clue in on that.

Here's what you wrote. Don't be surprised that I wonder if I landed at amateur night at Yuk Yuk's.
-
Once again clueless about the fact there are plenty of French-speaking Canadians outside Quebec?
-
English translation please
-
Correction. You know what your limited brain can know. Difference. You mean, our immigration problems are rooted in something that exists only in your imagination?
-
Nah, not the Department of Immigration... It's the Charter, the Charter I tell you.
-
It's all [art of a plot to destroy the English language and cultures.
-
Except when you claim they're only one spealing culture in Canada. But don't worry, we're all used to see you contradict your own non-sense. Wrong. Yours is ONE Canadian culture.
-
Ever heard of the Durham Report? Regulation 17? the Manitoba school question? Nope. Does not change the fact that French is a Canadian language and that English and French have equal status, as it should be. As it will be long after future historians study tis Wen site and start wondering if psotings like yours were just a rare occurance or a sign of a large complete ignorance of simple logic. I don't pretend. I know it is vibrant, When will you stop pretending this is about culture, when it is about the rights of Canadians? Oh i forgot, you don't pretend, you're actually that clueless.
-
You're not clueless to the point of not knowing that French-speaking Quebecers do not share the same culture as Acadians, of the French-speaking Metis in the West, ttto name two examples, are you? Actually, why am I even asking? I already know the answer is yes.

Canadians divided over creation and evolution

To you. -
No, you only believe in government intervention in trying kill it, and in government intervention in favour of English-speaking cultures that are not under threat. And btw, French-Canadian cultures are not dying.
-
 Do you know how to read? The quote of mine you're using talk about French speaking cultures.
-
(...) only in your clueless imagination. Not surprisingly, you still don't have a clue about the difference between the French culture and the French-Canadian cultures. But if "devolution" is a natural, occurence, what was the need for governments to force it to happen?

Taken it upon herself to cut the hair hardly warrants a suspension. It warrants firing... -

Or maybe if the kid hasn't been Aboriginal the TA would not have done this. The TA overstepped her authority. Period... -
(...) a culture. Good question. We know that English-speaking cultures in Canada are not being destroyed. And I am not the only here to suspect that you'd be happy to see First Nation cultures and French-speaking culture disappear from Canada.
