 Of course, you were praising japanese culture. for being homogenous and for being diverse. it's one or the other. Make up your mind, will you? As for you being xenophobic... and more... your postings tell the story big time.
-
As I suspected... not a word, nott a syllab, stating that some races are more intelligent than others.
-
You mean the Japanese society (unlike you) is not afraid of what is different? Interesting, btw, that you value it both for its homogeneity and its diversity. But then, the expectation that you will ever make sense is one I do not have.

PARTS of the scientific community has written and theoricized on differences. Only nutbars, and that includes you, of course, claim that there is scientific basis for the absurd notion that race has anything to do with the intelligence of a person. The Ute culture did not get to the same level of technology as the Aztec culture, yeet the utes and Aztecs were likely closer together than the French and English.

Noboby would claim things are perfect, but unlike you most people with a brain don't look at the days of Jim Crow and "no dogs or Jews" signs with nostalgia. And people with the capacity to lift themselves above a need to compensate for their personal shortcomings don't think of "one race, one system of thoughts, one set of opinion" as a societal model.
-
What you note and logic are two different concepts.
-
Yet you chose to write it. Your hatred of non-whites and your belief that skin colour is a determinant factor in the value of a human being are well known facts. You have advocated, and still advocate, separation of races. You have expressed foundness for societies, such as pre-independance Haiti, that were based on racial inequality. And there's your dislike of most things Jewish and flirting with Holocaust denial. So don't expect to fool anyone by pretending that this is all merely about preferring to be around whites.

The human capacity to hate and to act upon that hatred is our dark side. I know they are some who glorify it, I'm not one of them. And there is a world of difference between choosing friends or partners and chosing to hate or dismiss as inferiors entire groups of people on the basis of physical features. You got something right though. We are in the 21st century. Time to get rid of racism.
-
Hear, hear, hear. Further, the root cause of racism is not physiological differences between human beings, or even the recognition that they exist. racism stems in part from human nature (we can, and a bit too often, will let the dark side of our nature shine), but for the most part it is the result of ignorance and stupidity. lictor, the one who is trying to convince himself that is hatred (racism) is good and natural. pointed out to experiments that show that babies can differentiate skin colours. As far as i know, babies don't start crying, and toddlers don't crawl away screaming just because the little bundle of joy next to them has a different skin colour. Racism is a learned behaviour.
-
Racism is not when you notice physical differences. It's when somehow think they make some groups of people better human beings than others.
-
It's a term used when dealing with racist behaviours, attitude and acts.

Canada is most certainly not a trashcan. But "morons with weak minds"... an apt description of most racists, xenophobes, homophobes...

The 1930's and 1940's are not generations away. Remember, that's when the Canadian governbment's policy was that one Jewish immigrant was one too many? When there were quotas so that not too many Jews would be admitted to medical studies in major Canadian universities? When it was perfectly legal to reffuse them service in restaurants? Yep, prejudice was alive and well then. Hey well. There is at least one group that is not the object of your non-sensical baseless ignorant prejudice.

Really? Would you have people believe that after all your ranting about how intelligence is linked to racial features?

Passport photo puts woman behind bars
CANADIEN replied to bjre's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
What part of "the authorities in KENYA are threatening to jail a Canadian citizen because her photo passport is outdated" are you too obtuse to comprehend? -
Passport photo puts woman behind bars
CANADIEN replied to bjre's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
I have no doubt that there are bureaucrats whose brains have taken a vacation - both here and in Kenya. But I think that we all (except for brje) agree that this has little to do with the state of human rights in this country. -
Francophone population in Ontario gets boost
CANADIEN replied to Leafless's topic in Provincial Politics in Canada
Now, you have me puzzled... Are you admitting (again) that French-speaking Canadians are Canadians? Or you you claiming (again) that they are not Canadians, and adding on top of that the non-sense that white English-peaking Canadians are less than the majority? -
Francophone population in Ontario gets boost
CANADIEN replied to Leafless's topic in Provincial Politics in Canada
I for one would be happy if there were no need for a Ministry whose sole role is to make sure that government services are available in French as well as English. Too bad there are imbeciles standing in the way with their belief that Franco-Ontarians should either become citizens (which we are) or that we should "move back" to Quebec (why, Ontario has stopped being part of Canada?). -

You tell us. You're the one who insists on owering yourself through your own bias and ignorance.  -
Francophone population in Ontario gets boost
CANADIEN replied to Leafless's topic in Provincial Politics in Canada
My definition of Francophone is very simple, and limited. It's someone whose first language is French and/or uses it as his/her primary language of communications. So, while a measurement of how many people choose to access government services in English or French is a useful in defining government policy, that's not the same as being an Anglophone or a Francophone. -
Passport photo puts woman behind bars

I must be missing something here. A woman from Toronto is threatened with jail in KENYA because she no longer looks like her passport photo. How is that indicative of human rights in Canada? Anyone? -
Ignatieff calls bilingualism the essence of Canada
CANADIEN replied to Leafless's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Nice try at making it sound likes it's all language everywhere or only one language - pereferably one invented by you, The right for Canadians to be served in English, French or a First Nation languages by the Government of Canada should be the governing principle, and the cases when the numbers are not sufficient to ensure this should be the exception. Not the other way around. -

CANADIEN replied to Leafless's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
You mean why should anyone object to a Canadian getting government service in the Canadian language of his/her choice. unless the objector is an ignorant prick doing it out of spite? -
Ignatieff calls bilingualism the essence of Canada
CANADIEN replied to Leafless's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Nice try. Practical consideration in how the government respects a right is not a limit to that right. And what you are trying to do is justifying removing the linguistic rights of Canadians, or render them meaningless. Won't work.
