Then the payments on all these half million dollar mortgages start ballooning - and things pop. OTOH, a story in the Vancouver Sun this morning which I didn't read had a headline saying Vancouver house prices were expected to increase 13% this year. I agree. I have had the opportunity to work "all over the world", to overstate it somewhat. There are places with a better climate, there are richer places, but there is not one that I would sooner live in than Canada. But that doesn't mean it can't be better here.
