  1. Way to go P. McGee, It looks good on them.I live east of you and the developers rule. In my last house the province used to come and measure the Oaks, W.Pines and Walnut trees every other year or so. They were very old but healthy and many of them. When I sold and moved, The developers came in and cut down everything and nothing was said.
  2. My hydro doubled this year. I wonder what the people of B.C did differently than Ontario about the forcing of smart meters onto you. Thousands of emails and letters went to McGuinty's office in Ont. but he paid no attention to anyone. It looks like B.C protesters will win their protest against the meters. Their Premier listened. Congratulaions B.C. Ontario is the heaviest taxed province in Canada. The National Post.
  3. The thing that gets me is that none of the candidates have any sort of a platform, When Smitherman came out with some ideas it was like a Ford clone. Smitherman knew that he had the backing of the provincial and municipal gov. and thought he would walk right into city hall and carry on from Miller. Rossi's new campaign is a dud, talking like the mafia, the Italian people must feel insulted. And Sarah Thomson telling Rob last night on the so-called debate, that he can drive around in his big convertible and blah blah In reality Rob drives a Chev. Van. She's the one who lives in Rosedale with all of the luxuries around her. Smitherman just passes off the E-Health boondoggle like it was nothing, right on.
  4. The thing was about teaching English is that nobody did what they were supposed to do and just used the building for parties at the taxpayers expense. I never said any such thing about Jamaicans being the problem, you just said it. Ask Miller why he is spending 120,000 on a metal tree. Oh yeah, you'll never get an answer as Ford is the only one who replies within two days to everyone's email. There were hundreds of pieces of documented information told over the airways, so I would say he does have a very wide view of what is going on in the city and GTA.He told the part of each story that told us what is going on with our money.
  5. Before Rob Ford announced that he was running for mayor, he was on 640am every Thurs. morn. at 8:10am That is where anyone could learn what happened in Toronto. Everything Miller does/did is a secret unless it is something to glorify himself. Rob Ford talked about all of the deals and the stupid output of $$$ that the public/taxpayers had no idea was going on. You have all heard about the $120,000 metal tree erected in Toronto to say thanks to all of the Jamaicans for everything that they have contributed to the city. He hired people and paid them $14. per hr. to go door to door and hiding near by to see if you owned a cat or a dog. He bought a big factory in North York that sits empty. The first people that wanted to rent it was Jamaicans who wanted it to teach English. It seems that the police were called a few times to do something about all of the noise at the factory while they held all night parties. etc etc etc etc
  6. Cell phones in classrooms- Another Grand idea from pointy head McGuinty. There are too many cell phones in schools now, every time you look at someone today they have their eyes glued to some electronic thing.
