$3 billion a year of your tax money is not enough!
bud replied to bud's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
argentina was also heavily considered. the people of poland/hungary/etc. that you have mentioned all lived in the regions before they became official states. before the mass zionist movement, less than 10% of the population of palestine was jewish. which is what the area was called at the time. the jews and arab muslim and christians lived side by side and mostly in peace. they're all semites and many shared a lot more similarities than the russian jews that immigrated to the region. so therefore, the palestinians had to suffer and give up their land because of how europe was treating the jews. -

there may not be any settlements, but gaza, by definition is still under occupation by israel. -
but then he tells you to go vote for republicans. a major cornerstone of the original tea party movement was to stay away from wars and to get out of iraq/afghanistan/pakistan/yemen and hundreds of other locations around the world. the original tea party movement also says that aid, such as $3billion a year, should not be given to israel. glenn beck/palin and the other so-called teabaggers have a different idea when it comes to those things.

the neocons have stolen the tea party movement. fox has been a major tool for this theft.

This is Who We're Supposed to 'Make Peace" With?
bud replied to jbg's topic in The Rest of the World
that's not what i think and that's not what most people who support justice and peace think. justice means respecting moral and lawful obligations. it means giving back the land that israel continues to annex from the palestinians. it also means, to remove the wall that cuts deep into palestinian land. it means giving back the control of major highways, borders, airways, water, trading and everything else that comes with allowing people to live freely in their own land. doing all that will not put israel's security at risk. really, think about it, how would removing illegal settlements and pushing back the wall that cuts into the palestinian land reduce israel's security? in other words: Justice 1 Definition: The quality of being just; conformity to the principles of righteousness and rectitude in all things; strict performance of moral obligations; practical conformity to human or divine law; integrity in the dealings of men with each other; rectitude; equity; uprightness. why do you resist justice? -

i laughed, not because you think only 1 person supports justice and peace in the middle east, but because you said: LOL i don't know if you're actually ignorant about israel's actions or you choose to purposely lie. -

like you don't respond to posts directed at others. 1/5 of this goes to the supposedly thriving country of israel. that's quite a big percentage of the money. furthermore, there is no interest or benefit to the US to give $3billion + a year to israel. this has already been researched and documented extensively by the self-hating jews, mearsheimer and walt. Why has the US been willing to set aside its own security and that of many of its allies in order to advance the interests of another state? the israel lobby instead of playing stupid, why don't you come out and admit that it's the israeli lobby that has your government by the balls. a real patriot would admit to this. they would admit to the amount of money the lobby gives to the so-called representatives of the people. money does talk and this money has bought your government in favour of another country's interests. way to reason it out. total aid - US aid to israel: $114 billion US aid to egypt: $50 billion US aid to jordan: $4 billion US aid to palestinians: insignificant there are 3 groups that benefit from this aid: #1 - israel #2 - weapons companies #3 - corrupt politicians who pass bills in favour of another country losers: #1 - you this is more than about just a federal budget. the US is supporting a cancer and a system that effects the whole world. -

West Bank Mosques targeted by Jewish Settlers
bud replied to GostHacked's topic in The Rest of the World
imagine if synagogues were being targeted by muslims. we'd have the usual suspects howling about how jews are being backed into the corner and any response is justifiable. then i'm sure jbg would be posting a thread about how for the good of humanity, we need to nuke muslims to stop the dangers of islam. -

2 things, mr. "radical leftist lawyer": - ahmadinejad does not equal islam - why is US' military attack on iran acceptable to you while iran's response is not? -
Raz and the Irene’s media coordinator in London, Yosh Kosminsky, said today no violence took place from either side during the takeover. Israeli officials said yesterday they wouldn’t allow the aid boat, which is carrying toys, textbooks and prosthetic limbs, to break Israel’s maritime blockade against Gaza. The boat was sponsored by the London-based Jews for Justice for Palestinians and other Jewish groups in Germany, Australia and the U.S. Its aim was to “challenge the continuing blockade of Gaza” and assert that “Israel’s policies are not supported by all Jews,” according to its website. a ship carrying jewish activists, including holocaust survivors, an ex-IDF soldier, an israeli who lost a child to a suicide bomber and an ex-settler brings attention to the injustices the palestinians face in the hands of their occupiers. Link

Israeli raid on Gaza aid flotilla broke law - UN probe
bud replied to naomiglover's topic in The Rest of the World
i know naomi and i have seen a lot of her threads. she has never written an 'i hate israel' thread or anything that shows hate towards jews. so right there, unless you can show specific examples, we have proof that you are unable to decipher between criticism of israel's actions and hate. critiquing and calling out unconditional supporters who will go to any length to support israel hasbara-bots does not mean i'm cheering for any team. teams are for those who are unable to voice their own personal critique and observation of the situation and instead need to rely on narratives. -

perhaps in your absolute and extreme world, the jews are moral and just, while palestinians are immoral and unjust. you need to get over the team cheering and focus on the actions of the individual(s) and not their background and ethnicity. -
Carter-Obama Comparisons Grow

shady and the people like him and their vindication of obama's ineffectiveness would have some meaning if they didn't so passionately and blindly support the only other team that they seem to know exists. -

your superficial comparison between the civil war incident and the situation in gaza is an indication of how it's impossible to discuss reality with you. there are so many dissimilarities between the two that i don't even know where to begin. i will give you one of many differences between the two and then leave it at that. because i'm not going to have a stupid discussion with you. one obvious difference is that the flotilla ships were searched at the port in cyprus prior to leaving towards gaza and were given a complete check. even after the seizure of the ships, israel was not able to find anything illegal on the ships except for some butter knives. just so you know, i will not be responding to any more stupid comparisons like that.
