  1. Did I hear Ford on that tape calling some people in the bar "dagos"? -k
  2. RoFo would JAM Justin Trudeau. -k
  3. How do you people know that Olivia Chow doesn't smoke crack and hang out with gangsters and threaten to bust peoples' legs in bars? huh? She might do that stuff and nobody in the media is talking about it because she doesn't face the same scrutiny as Rob Ford, because they're biased! -k
  4. We don't know for sure that it was crack, people! What if it was meth?? Have you considered the possibility that it was meth? What if you're accusing Ford of smoking crack when it was really meth? Everybody in the liberal media will owe Ford a big apology! -k
  5. Were you in the basement with him? We don't know what was in the pipe, or how it got lit on fire, or how it ended up in Ford's mouth, or why Ford was shaking convulsively afterwards! There could be any number of explanations! -k
  6. The pipe? That was just some plumbing fittings he picked up at Canadian Tire so that he could do some repairs on his sister's downstairs bathroom sink. How the unidentified substance fell into the pipe, what the unidentified substance was, how it came to be lit on fire, and how the other end of the pipe ended up in Ford's mouth is completely beyond the realm of speculation. Who could even guess? There could be any number of explanations. I will laugh so hard if Toronto re-elects this clown. -k
  7. I was wondering if you felt that your colorful chart contains any information that justifies Bundy's position. -k
  8. First off, if the players walk off the court and the fans don't get to see a game, the fans are getting refunds. Or if they don't, they have a building full of disgruntled customers. They lose money either way. Even if the boycotts et al were limited to the Clippers, the effects would still harm other teams in the league. The NBA, like other sports leagues, has a revenue sharing agreement among the franchises. If revenues for one franchise fall, every team feels the effects. The bigger danger for the NBA is that if they had not done something drastic, people would have started asking "why didn't the NBA take a stronger stand against Sterling?" It becomes a problem for the whole league's image, not just the Clippers. If people start writing columns asking whether the league is tolerant of racism, it definitely costs the league money. They couldn't allow the perception that they're soft on racism. It would have been damaging to their reputation and their revenue. And you can be sure that their constitution contains clauses allowing them to protect their reputation. -k
  9. Let's be clear who is encroaching. It is Bundy, the freeloader. It's not his land. It was never his land. He's a squatter. Why is it an issue that the lands are owned by the US federal government as opposed to Nevada? Here in Canada we also have vast quantities of Crown Land. People are free to use crown land, but not without limit. I can go shoot my rifles on crown land when I feel like, and I often do. I can't operate a business or build a home on crown land just because I feel like it. If I want to hunt or prospect for minerals or cut down timber or whatever on Crown Land, I have to make appropriate arrangements with the proper authorities. For over 20 years, Bundy has declined to honor the In Canada, Crown Land is owned by the Queen and administered by the provinces. In the US, it's administered by the federal government. Big deal. What difference does it make to the Bundy fiasco? I am not without sympathy for Bundy's original complaint. Personally, my dream is to someday own land up in the hills here in Kim County. If I achieve my dream, and then sometime later some native guy declares that his ancestor took a crap there 150 years ago and lays claim to my land, I'm going to be hella upset. I'll exhaust every legal means before I give up my home. But I won't attempt to raise an army against the government. Also, I will be pro-active, in making sure that the land I buy is land that there's actually legal title to, to make sure I have a leg to stand on in the courts. Bundy didn't. What's his leg to stand on? -k
  10. In Nigeria, Islamic extremists have kidnapped hundreds of school girls. Apparently some of the girls are being taken into neighboring countries as brides for extremists. Others might end up becoming sex slaves as per Muslim tradition: Meanwhile in Syria, Islamists are crucifying people. And I know that there are people who'll say "yeah, well, Christians did the same kind of stuff in the dark ages, and Islam started 600 years behind Christianity, so they just need a little more time." But you know, hundreds of years ago when Christian cultures were discovering how to be human, they didn't have the benefit of learning from a global community of more enlightened neighbors. They were figuring it out from scratch. These dummies, on the other hand, stand on an island surrounded by more enlightened people, and shut their eyes to it. Worse, some of these countries, like Syria and Iran and Afghanistan, are places where more modern ideas used to be embraced, and Islamists said "these ideas of treating women and minorities like humans suck. We should go back to the old ways." I honestly find it infuriating. -k
  11. Oh yeah, that's it. People must be mad about the TFW program because they're racist against foreigners. Nice one, Shady. Good job. Your momma must be proud. -k
  12. One of my neighbors figures he's the next Canadian Idol. It takes a lot of courage to sing that loud with a voice that crappy.

      bleeding heart

Sort of literalizing the old "Simon beat-downs" from the show's American heyday. :)

I got one of those people in my apt building as well. Dude is so off key it hurts.

Used to live in a Y-shaped apartment bldg and wakened by the screaming lovemaking of an anonymous neighbour. You got it easy, kid.

  13. Buddy's tactical acumen isn't really the point. The main point is that they weren't just there to "protest". -k
  14. Are you really comparing reserves to slavery? Are you MENTAL? BTW, natives are free to decide for themselves if they would be better off if they left the reserve. They can choose to do that. -k
  15. The longevity and tenacity of these anti-Jewish conspiracy theories continues to surprise me. As I said in another thread recently, it seems that giving people unlimited access to information hasn't made dumb-people smarter, it has just given dumb-people access to more kinds of stupidity. -k
  16. He is not being punished for what he was thinking, he is being punished for publicly damaging the NBA's reputation and business. When you run a franchise, whether it's an NBA franchise or a McDonald's franchise, your continued association with that brand is not unconditional or irrevocable. If his thoughts had stayed private, this would obviously not be an issue. But since his comments became a matter of public record, he has caused demonstrable harm to the league. -k
  17. You're right, that was unnecessary. -k
  18. If you're asking whether they were better off as slaves, you're a racist. Full stop. If you're saying they haven't got anything to do because they never learned to pick cotton, you're a racist. Period. No amount of "context" changes it. As for the dude talking about putting the women at the front: he said it. -k
  19. Seizing the cattle also prevents him from accumulating more fees and fines, considering the cattle are not supposed to be there. It seems like the obvious first step. -k
  20. I don't think anybody here is suggesting that the women quoted in the article have the right to date and marry and have children with whoever they want, using whatever criteria they want. I don't think anybody here is suggesting that white guys are being harmed by their choices. And personally, I don't see any harm in the idea of preserving their "bloodline" either. I think that the wide variety of human appearance is part of our beauty, and I think that when we do eventually meld into "the golden mean" as a poster put it in an older thread, we'll have lost something. What chaps my ass about this is that there is certainly a double standard. A few years back, I wrote something here about hoping that I might have descendants that look like me, and received quite a number of insulting and even hateful responses, including from one of this board's "native advocates". -k
  21. Seizing his cattle and removing them from public land wasn't a bad idea. It was a perfectly reasonable course of action. It only became a "bad idea" after a militia arrived to prevent them from doing it. Any reason to think that attempting to seize his property wouldn't also be met by a militia of "patriots" with AR15s? I can agree that the situation has not been handled very well. It should have been dealt with a long time ago. However, the facts are this: when the BLM went in to enforce a court order to impound his cattle, this guy declared "the range war is on!" and this militia arrived, giving the BLM little choice other than to back down. The rule of law should not be trumped by a militia of mooks. So if I check out Hannity's pre-"the Negro" coverage, I won't find Hannity calling Bundy a patriot, or depicting him as a hard working American businessman being stomped under the foot of Big Government? Of course *now* they say "hey, we're not supporting Bundy, we just think this is an example of excess force being used by the government". This is, after all, the same Hannity who said that waterboarding isn't a big deal and said he'd be willing to waterboarded any time to prove it (but never did). After all this is the network that defended the cop who peppersprayed all those students because pepper spray is basically just a condiment. -k
  22. The league's agreement with its franchises allows it to levy punishments for conduct that's damaging to the league. That's their equivalent of a morality clause. The league should apply the maximum fine. Sponsors have already pulled their support from the Clippers. Clippers players have asked him to stay away from Clippers games from now on, because they don't want to be seen associating with somebody like that in public. -k
  23. And again: how long do you imagine that this withered old fool is going to live that the government would be able to recover what they are owed by garnishing his social services cheques? He apparently thinks he's a prophet, but even if he lives as long as Noah, his social security cheques aren't going to add up to $1.2 million. The premise that they went there to kill cattle is false. They went there to impound the cattle, and they had over 100 cattle impounded. Six cattle died during the round-up, which might be evidence that the BLM agents are crappy cowboys, but doesn't match with your claim that they went there with the intention of killing cattle. Unless... maybe they were being impounded so they could be taken to a FEMA Death Camp! That's it, right Gost? -k
  24. The facts: “We were actually strategizing to put all the women up at the front,” he said. “If they are going to start shooting, it’s going to be women that are going to be televised all across the world getting shot by these rogue federal officers.” -Bundy ally Richard Mack, on Fox News. Surely Fair And Balanced wouldn't edit the video to make Bundy and his mooks look bad. Fox News had been trying to make the guy into a hero, right until the part where he started talking about "Negroes" anyway. Video also shows the "protester" pointing his AR15 at people between the barriers on the bridge, btw. -k
