  1. You're denying that Turner is an apologist for Castro and Kim's North Korea? The nerve of Americans (not just Republicans) who dubbed Fonda as 'Hanoi Jane'! Where ever did they get such a silly idea? This is what I find bothersome about many on the left. They are sympathetic, even supportive, of communist regimes, but when they are called on it, they shriek 'free speech' or their new meme, 'dissent is patriotic'.
  2. Some interesting stuff from the left's favorite columnist in her latest article... Ann Coulter: Some NY Times headlines discussing polls prior to the 2004 election: And yet who won the 2004 election? Coulter's theory is that Democrats are obsessed with polls because they fantasize that polls prove that the majority of the public supports them, because the majority of the public has only supported Democrats twice at election time since the days of FDR--Lyndon Johnson and Jimmy Carter.
  3. Damn, I always though(I really do) of CNN as being pretty right leaning with Blitzer, Dobbs and co. I guess it's a matter of perception. I've never heard anyone credible call Wolf Blitzer a rightwinger, although personally I think he's okay. I consider him centre-left. Lou Dobbs does little but critisize the Bush administration. Just because he is a mature caucasian who wears a suit and hosts a business show, it doesn't make him a Republican. Ted Turner is on the record as being pro-Fidel Castro and he's an apologist for North Korea's communist regime. And we all know about his wife's (Jane Fonda) support for communism. She stabbed the US military in the back. That's what Democrats do, not Republicans. And who could ever forget CNN allowing Kerry campaign advisors, James Carville and Paul Begala, to host Crossfire during the 2004 election--a flagrant conflict of interest.
  4. Contact former Clinton national security advisor Sandy Berg(l)er--the guy who was caught stuffing classified documents down his pants from the National Archives prior to testifying in front of the 9-11 commission. He stole something like 50 classified documents and shredded them. If you are unaware of this, don't feel bad. The MSM completely buried this scandal. Why? Because Berg(l)er isn't a Republican. If a Republican had done this, it would have been the top news story for at least a month straight. Obviously the scandal-ridden Clinton administration had something to hide. Hopefully he got lots of paper cuts on his genitals.
  5. I find it mystifying that many on the hypocritical right find the idea of abortion or doctor assisted suicide so troubling but have no problem letting people die because they can afford to pay for medical services. I think you're confused. People are dying because they are forced to sit on long waiting lists. I have personal experience with this as it happened to a relation (through marriage) who died because he was on an 18 month waiting list. Hospital called 5 months after he died and announced that they were ready to operate on him. I find it mystifying that the left has no problems with murdering the innocent, but they will take to the streets and protest the execution of their beloved Tookie. Perhaps I just don't understand that famed leftist "nuance".
  6. Sharkman: It seems Argus disagrees with the OP: With the explosion of the internet and technology in recent years...I'm not surprised. According to the Edmonton Journal article in the OP, there are chat rooms like Kiddypics and Kiddyvids, which are very organized, secure, and use various encryption services to evade police. Some of these are babies (18 mths old)! What kind of a sick *bleep* molests an eighteen mth yr old baby?! These people that defend this...I wonder what they would do if that was their child being molested by 49 y/o (like in the OP) men.
  7. Oh, the NY Times is still dragging out a 2 yr old story. Whatsa matter? They still can't find evidence of Bush missing a medical exam 30+ years ago in TANG? Excuse me, while I pull out my nanotech violin and play the saddest f'ing song in the universe... If only Gerry could muster 1/10th of the outrage for the terrorists that he has for the Americans. Call me when the US starts sawing off the heads of jihadists.
  8. Alberta just dropped their corporate income tax rate from 11.5% to 10% today. Good for them but this sucks for Saskatchewan--which has the highest corporate income tax rate in Canada. Nearly all my family lives here, but this might be the tipping point for me. Might be time to leave Calvert's Cuba and flee this socialist sh*thole. I'm sick and tired of busting my butt only to have the NDP take so much of MY money. Keep it up Calvert. Soon there won't be anybody left in this province. Don't forget to turn out the lights when everyone is gone. I'm fed up with your "lowest utility rates in Canada" crap. Why can't you think big instead of small? Saskatchewan is filthy rich in resources, yet we don't take advantage of it.
  9. An unnerving excerpt from Claire Berlinski's Menace in Europe : Why the Continent's Crisis Is America's, Too : The Netherland's population is only about 16.4 million.
  10. Gary Morton, please make your copy-and-pastes shorter. Not only are longwinded copy and paste jobs against forums rules, but it's hard to get motivated to read a book-sized chapter. Anyways, it appears that the Afghanis are looking for a face-saving way out of this because of the attention this has been getting worldwide: That being said, it is disgusting charges like this that make so many think that Islam is a backward stone-age religion. Edited to add the link I forgot to post.
  11. Why do many automatically assume that Republicans are rich and Democrats aren't? During the 2004 US election, 24 of the top 25 political donations went to the Democrat Party. I specifically remember seeing this but I can't remember where...but I think it was at Opensecrets.org. George Soros is a billionaire who had vowed to do everything he could to defeat the Republicans. The Dems are known as the party of lawyers; they aren't exactly candidates for the poor house. And what about the multi-millions spent by the labor unions to support the Dems? I contend that the "rich Republicans/poor Democrats" meme is untrue.
  12. I don't have a lot time to comment on this latest conspiracy theory but I'll point out that Ms. Demarais' brother is married to France Chretien daughter of ex-PM Jean. So by your logic the Demarais off-spring attach themselves to the power players of the day in order to fufill their secret geopolitical mandate to undermine all that is Canadian or some other convoluted theory you're amassing "evidence" on. Chretien's daughter is married to the son of the biggest shareholder in Frrance's TotalFinaElf oil company--a company that was totally in bed with Saddam HUssein. Many people think that is why Chretien wanted Saddam to continue to run roughshod all over his people, the UN, and to continue to sponsor int'l terrorism. It really was about the oil. As for private healthcare being illegal in Canada, we are in good company. Two other countries in the world have made private healthcare illegal; Cuba and North Korea. Tis just another example of the lack of freedom Canadians have. Even if you have the money to go and get a test, you are not allowed to. You must wait in line for months. I find it sad that other countries look to Canada's healthcare system as what not to do when it comes to creating a healthcare system. However, ideology is everything to leftwingers and "former Tory supporters" like Nocrap. People are suffering and even literally dying but the left doesn't give a damn. They will do everything they can to continue to support our horribly inept and incompetent national healthcare system.
  13. Conservative hottie Michelle Malkin interviews Mama Moonba, er Cindy Sheehan....and strikes a nerve with one question. Video P.S. Don't know if anyone has heard this yet, but Hollywood is making a movie about Cindy Sheehan with Susan Sarandon to play the role of Ms. Sheehan. One more news tidbit: Gallup Polling drops CNN because of low ratings People continue to tune out the biased liberal media... I wonder where the public is going instead. Perhaps to a certain channel that offers fair and balanced news.
  14. I'm surprised that anyone would believe anything KPMG has to say these days.
  15. Glad you enjoyed it, Gosthacked. You can just imagine Judge Judy tearing them a new a$$hole.
  16. Canadian Press: Mr. Samad, these people are not anti-war--no matter what the liberal media says; they are anti-freedom. The entire world has seen their protest signs. We're not stupid. Too chicken to talk to you, huh? Why am I not surprised? Indeed, Mr. Samad. Good question. Where were the protesting "progressives"? Why weren't these "progressive" women protesting the brutal treatment their sisters were suffering under the Taliban?
  17. There is no such quote on Page 60. You are clearly making things up. Sorry, my mistake - bottom of the page with the number 61 in the top right corner. Not according to the written report which says there is no evidence that Iraq [assisted Al Qaida]. Of course you actually have to read the report to find that out. I'm sorry but I do not see anything on Page 61 to back your claims. You should read the report more closely before making such claims. Saddam and Al Qaeda worked together. There is absolutely no doubt about this. Indeed, the documents released the last few days make this perfectly clear.
  18. One of the brothers (Omar) from Iraq The Model translates one of the recently released Iraqi documents Omar is a lying liar puppet of the Halliburtonista Bushitler Regime!
  19. Was it right to remove Saddam? Idiot! Haven't you been listening to the MSM? Haven't you been listening to the Western Left? You second-class subhuman brown-skinned Iraqis are incapable of living in a democracy! How dare you! How dare you ignore the West's liberal elitists!! If only Papa Hussein was still in power, he would teach you a damn good lesson. A wood-chipper comes to mind! Obviously these morons didn't watch Michael Moore's Fahrenheit 9-11 crockum, er documentary. Iraq was a kite-flying utopia!! Ya right. Civil war, quagmire, Vietnam, theocracy, etc. You obviously aren't from the reality-based community! You are incapable of creating a democracy! And you're pissing off us progressives! It's been 3 damn years already and you still haven't had a civil war. Instead you were zapped by America's Evil Dark Lord's (KKKarl Rove) mind control gun and were FORCED to have 3 elections in 2005--two years after the fall of cuddly Saddam Hussein. I think the NY Times was correct when they reported that your blog was created by the CIA. Sure those idiot rightwing blogs CLAIMED that CIA was a Texas computer company called Computer Integrated (I forget the last initial), but they are rightwingers, ergo they are all liars! Thank God for the NY Times who always speaks the truth. Stupid Iraqis.
  20. Do you people understand that? He had the Koran written entirely in his own blood. His own blood! Yet some of you ignorant Saddam Hussein apologists continue to spout the "he couldn't have connections to Al Qaeda, he's secular" bullshit. Wake up and smell the freaking coffee, please. Connect the GD dots.Also. Abdul Rahman Yasin (the Al Qaeda terrorist - wanted by the Clinton administration for his complicity in the 1993 World Trade Center terrorist attack. Absolutely true. I'm not sure how anyone can overlook this so easily as the "progressives" do. Abu Nidal, the most wanted man in the world, who was sheltered in Baghdad. Absolutely true, and again, I'm not sure how open-minded "progressives" can so easily overlook this fact. Zarqawi fled to Iraq after Afghanistan fell and was treated for an injury at Baghdad's Olympic hospital, a hospital run by Uday Hussein. Absolutely true. Again, how can the "progressives" simply brush these facts aside. The absolute denial of these types of FACTS is what I mean by Flat Earth Society thinking. Stop being partisan, stop the Bush hating for just one second, and examine the possibilities, especially in the face of so much information and evidence. Let's just say that the leftwing clients of chiropracters are going to be doing a good business in the next few months, working out the kinks of their twisting, turning, and contorting of facts. And it is going to get worse according to the documents that Stephen Hayes has seen (my link to Saddam funding an Al Qaeda organization in the Phillipines). Black Dog has already fled this forum; expect more leftists to cut and run.
  21. Riverwind: There is no such quote on Page 60. You are clearly making things up. Instead of reacting to headlines by leftwing media sources, I suggest you take a long hard look at the 9-11 commission report. As Lee Hamilton and Thomas Kean clearly stated: Anyone who denies that Yasin fled to Iraq after mixing the chemicals for the 1993 World Trade Center terrorist attack, or denies that Zarqawi wasn't in Baghdad after the Taliban fell (look at the Iraqi intelligence pics of Zarqawi in the newly released Iraqi documents) is simply stuck on stupid. I'm sorry but I don't know any other way to explain this.
  22. http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?...08.DTL#sections Jeezus H, our PM has been doing the same thing lately!! Did KKKarl Rove move to Canada to escape prosecution and find a job with Stephen Harper's government? Hee hee! I was hoping that someone would post this claim by Jennifer Loven. Yessss! Jennifer Loven, Democrat operative Jennifer Loven's husband has worked on environmental issues for Bill Clinton and John Kerry A new low for Jennifer Loven from that oh-so-fair-and-balanced Associated Press Thank goodness for the AP and its reporting, but not injecting personal opinion in their reports. Pwned!
  23. gerryhatrick: Unlike someone who starts threads calling Canada "1984ish" in regards to Stephen Harper I believe that you were, as well as Liberal defence critic Ujjal Dosanjh. Does that mean that I am now on the same plane as Jerry Seinfeld? Will you start a 6 word opening post about me? "He hates them. That is all." I have to admit I spewed Pepsi all over my monitor when I saw your "Jerry Seinfeld and Muslims" thread in the religious section. Too funny!
  24. HEY HEY HEY .... if our soldiers don't like their tootsies touching anything but buttersoft Italian Gucci leather, LET them spend their own money. Or maybe it would be fair to reimburse them for those "real man boots" that they so shun .... to be applied towards those Italian buttersofties. HEY, I've noticed how overweight most of our soldiers are. Should we maybe provide them with the Jenny Craig diet? TSK TSK TSK ... what spoiled brats Canadian soldiers are. BTW - Is it really true that out of the 2200 of our soldiers that are in Afghanistan, only less than 500 are actually trained for combat, the rest (1700) being just support staff, good for nothing but to RAH RAH RAH the real guys on? What a shame! Glad to see your support for the troops! Leftie style! Btw, I'd like to see you call our troops overweight....to their face.
