  1. No. It does not. Is it your contention that breaking the law because someone else has broken the law is okay?
  2. I am showing you how East Jerusalem is considered occupied territories by the world. It doesn't get any simpler. There is no room for discussion in regards to its legality because the status of it is already well-defined and in print. I don't want to waste my time discussing a point that does not exist. Israel is breaking international law by continuing to build up in the occupied territories, which includes East Jerusalem. This is supported by Israel's closest allies like U.S., U.K. and most recently, Canada.
  3. Who should drop the inflammatory bullshit? I can't take your drivels seriously. Thank you for your attempt at psychology but there is no need. My comments are based on International law and human rights. Zionism is a racist movement because it has discriminated against and continues to discriminate against those who are not part of a particular group.
  4. Huh? Show me the comparison with Israel where you tried to make where countries in Africa are acquiring land through wars. Simply pressing reply is not enough and is not acceptable as a response.
  5. That wasn't so civil. You can't compare wearing a maple leaf jerseys and cheering for the Canadian hockey team with wanting to ethnically cleanse Arabs from East Jerusalem because you think E. Jerusalem is part of your national homeland. Your comparisons and attempt at defining nationalism is absurd. I am not an atheist. I was born into a Reform Jewish home but I do have Orthodox relatives. I don't practice Judaism or any other religion but if a defintion is needed for your curiousity, I can be labeled as an agnostic. I just believe in being a good person and treating those the way I would want to be treated. What about you Gabriel? What kind of Jew are you? Zionism was, at one point, honorable. But that all changed at a very early stage. The practices to achieve the goal of Zionism is what makes it a racist ideology and movement.
  6. Why don't you tell me about Africa.
  7. No one cares for the Jerusalem Embassy act. This is why the U.S. embassy was never moved to Jerusalem and it was never implemented. The heavily AIPAC lobbied house and senate has no jurisidction over U.S. foreign policy matters. Good try though, Dancer.
  8. Since these laws were put into place, which other country besides Israel has been acquiring land in the course of war?
  9. You can keep repeating the word 'ignorance', but it's not going to win you any points. The fact is that East Jerusalem does not belong to Israel. The settlement activities are illegal. The U.S., the EU and the rest of the world agrees with this. You need to deal and accept this fact before we can move onto other things.
  10. This is not the first time Israel has forged UK passports. It is not the first time British passports have been misused by Israel. In 1987 the country was caught forging UK passports for an intelligence operation, and Israel promised it would not do it again. On that occasion, eight British passports reckoned to be for Mossad agents were found in a bag in a West German telephone booth. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/8582518.stm How many more times does Mossad and Israel have to be caught forging passports before you guys accept that it's not shocking that Israel has forged another country's passports? At least DogsOnPorch has not repeated his comments about Mossad's quality (sloppy) of work.
  11. They are basing their conclusion on evidence. You want to see the evidence, go request it from the UK and Dubai.
  12. Your contempt for the UN is puzzling since it was the UN and international law that allowed Israel to exist. How is the ICJ rooted in complete ignorance? More specifically, what was it about the ICJ ruling in 2004 which concluded the barrier was illegal and specifically called East Jerusalem and the West Bank occupied territories?
  13. Every other country? Better? Does it change the fact that East Jerusalem is Occupied Palestinian Territory? I don't know, maybe Micronesia disagrees with international law, alongside Israel.
  14. The law says East Jerusalem is Occupied Palestinian Territory. Deal with it.
  15. Oh give it a rest. Even in Israel, everyone accepts that it was done by Mossad. Mossad has a long history of assassinations where they've both gotten away with it or they've been caught. It's not just the UK who has concluded that this is a work of Mossad. Dubai also has strong evidence that it was done by Mossad. This is another case of the Israeli government 'neither confirming or denying' that they were behind it.
  16. This is not the first time that Mossad has used faked passports and has been caught. In addition to the above 2 cases where Canadian passports were used, there are other cases: In July 2004, New Zealand imposed diplomatic sanctions on Israel over an incident in which two Australian based Israelis, Uriel Kelman and Eli Cara, who were allegedly working for Mossad, attempted to fraudulently obtain New Zealand passports by claiming the identity of a severely disabled man. Israeli Foreign Minister Silvan Shalom later apologized to New Zealand for their actions. New Zealand cancelled several other passports believed to have been obtained by Israeli agents.[58] Both Kelman and Cara served half of their six month sentences and, upon release, were deported to Israel. Two others, an Israeli, Ze'ev Barkan, and a New Zealander, David Reznick, are believed to have been the third and fourth men involved in the passport affair but they both managed to leave New Zealand before being apprehended.
  17. I doubt the UK government would blame Israel if they did not have sufficient proof to believe it was done by Israel. The Mossad has done a lot of sloppy work. They used to get away with most of it because we didn't have the type of surveilance that we have today. Especially at a high tech place like Dubai. You obviously have no basis for your comments and are simply talking with your typical unconditional love for israel emotions: On July 21, 1973, Ahmed Bouchiki, a Moroccan waiter in Lillehammer, Norway, was killed by Mossad while walking with his pregnant wife. He had been mistaken for Ali Hassan Salameh, one of the leaders of Black September, the Palestinian group responsible for the Munich massacre, who had been given shelter in Norway. The Mossad agents had used fake Canadian passports, which angered the Canadian government. Six Mossad agents were arrested, and the incident became known as the Lillehammer affair.[ and recently: In 1997, two Mossad agents were caught in Jordan, which had signed a peace treaty with Israel, on a mission to assassinate Sheikh Khaled Mashal, a leader of Hamas, by spraying him with poison at a pro-Hamas rally in Amman. Again, they were using fake Canadian passports. This led to a diplomatic row with Canada and Jordan. Israel was forced to provide the antidote to the poison and to release around 70 Palestinian prisoners, in particular the Hamas leader Sheikh Ahmed Yassin, in exchange for the Mossad agents, who would otherwise have faced the death penalty for attempted murder. I'm sure you have your Wikipedia window open. Look it up.
  18. What's done is done. We can't go back and change what was done over a 100 years ago or even 60 years ago. What we can do is to follow our well defined laws that have been put into place. We have created these laws so there would be no confusion about land claims. When it comes to East Jerusalem, the law is clear: it's occupied Palestinian territory, because it was acquired in the course of a war. Under international law, it's inadmissible to acquire territory by war. The status of Occupied East Jerusalem was backed in 2004, the highest judicial body in the world, the International Court of Justice.
  19. Thank you for keeping this civil. Zionism is a racist and irredeemable movement, like Bolshevism, Nazism, and Apartheid. Zionism does not and should be identified as a Jewish idealism. I don't consider myself Jewish by religious beliefs and even though I used to think differently, now I am of the opinion that no land should be allocated to a specific group. Just so there is no misunderstanding, I don't believe in dissolving or removing Israel. Israel is a wonderful country in many ways but that is overshadowed by the arrogance and selfishness of the zionist ideology. Israel could have become to exist without most of the black marks in its short history. Israeli governments have always been dominated by the right. At least when it came foreign policy and the occupied territories. Most Israelis could care less about the settlements and the settlers. Especially the younger generations. Unfortunately, the government is still heavily influenced by extremist groups, whose votes sway the ruling parties even more to the right. Zionism will not last long. In all aspects of political, social, economical and ethical, it is unsustainable and the wheels will fall off within the next decade.
  20. "We have concluded that there are compelling reasons to believe Israel was responsible for the misuse of the British passports." http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/8582518.stm
  21. The U.S., the E.U., Canada and everyone else in the world disagree with what you say.
  22. The Israeli government continues to show the disrespect and arrogance they're known for towards the international community, even towards countries that they are supposed to be close allies with. The UK is to expel an Israeli diplomat over 12 forged British passports used in the murder of Hamas leader Mahmoud al-Mabhouh in Dubai in January. Foreign Secretary David Miliband told the Commons there were "compelling reasons" to believe Israel was responsible for the passport "misuse". ... Israel has said there is no proof it was behind the killing at a Dubai hotel, and an official confirmed there would be no tit-for-tat diplomatic expulsion. But Mr Milband said it was "highly likely" the Israeli secret service Mossad was involved and the fact that Israel was a close ally added "insult to injury". "We have concluded that there are compelling reasons to believe Israel was responsible for the misuse of the British passports." http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/8582518.stm
  23. So AIPAC is good for America or another nation?
  24. Have you written off other European countries as a democracy for imprisoning holocaust deniers?
  25. Who cares. AIPAC's main objective is protecting Israel's interests. Just ask Franklin, Rosen and Weissman, all Americans, who were caught passing classified U.S. information to Israel. All three are/were AIPAC members and of course Israeli citizens as well.
