I know a close friend who has a cottage in Lake Champlain, and I have a cousin who lives in New York, so I'm in the US about 8 times a year for short periods of time. As for countries I admire? Norway... Finland, Sweden, Germany, Austria, Iceland, Ireland, Scotland, France, Italy, Japan, Australia... I could also mention Greece, Portugal, as places that I find agreeable... I've been there and enjoyed these places tremendously. As for Venezuela, I was actually a student there for a year through AFS's intercultural exchange program...
