The real trolls are people who make false claims (such as me refusing to back up my sources, which I do to a far greater extent then most here) ... as far as evasion, I actually LOOK for conflict and debate. Look at my posts per day average, sure I may decide not to respond to certain posters who simply spout ad hominems... like dancer does from time to time, but usually end up having the last comment in many threads. but that is merely following forum rules: namely not replying to insults and ad hominems... when have I discredited a "fact" because an author was jewish? or black? criminals are law breakers... by necessity... so gun laws don't affect them... that's no leap in logic... its what's actually happening.

welfare and government taxed schemes are what run up the cost of doing business... which is largely why our wages are smaller. Its almost as if pro-welfare people don,t understand that the money COMES FROM THE PEOPLE... not the government... the government doesn't have a money tree for welfare! I remember reading that in Canada and the US the minimum wage has stagnated to roughly its 1983 levels... yet the cost of life has increased by a factor of 3.8 since. and taxes and welfare programs have done nothing but increase in parallel to this. all it boils down to is: if we really were better off giving money to our government so that it could spend it for us... we would have lost the cold war....

there's also the terrifying stat that something like 58% of port workers have criminal records, and that only about 8% of containers are ever inspected... smuggling guns is a joke in canada. you can even ship them piece by piece... and make them even harder to trace. if you cut off the legal source of guns, all you're doing is giving the monopoly of guns over to th black market! Its actually like arming the bad guys while disarming the potential victims... and to think that our registry act has already squandered 2.4 billion dollars... Its hard to understand why people want to go on with this evil lunacy... disarming the people, restricting yet MORE freedoms from the average citizen.... at an immense cost on top of it... makes absolutely no sense

again it comes down to a debate of nature vs. nurture... it would be foolish to minimize any... both are equally important. without the right genes ... one may be flat footed... an no amount of training will make you a good runner... on the other hand a couch potato with great bodytype... isn't any better... I suppose the main difference is that the person with a poor work ethic can at least EVENTUALLY bring himself to seeing his potential (which is high because of his genes)... but to say that everything in life is 1% genetic and 99% attitude as some here seem to saying, is obviously wrong. but you've already conceded that genes DO factor into the equation... whether I bring up the subject for ulterior motives (as a background for discussing racial differences) doesn't make these differences any less real. if I may answer for the gentleman.... geology, archeology and astronomy.... all are fields that can verify that the age of the earth its mechanism is much older then anything any sacred text ever asserted....

The example is EXTREMELY relevant to us canadians since Australia is so similar to us in so many critical ways. and gun crime stats in the states are what they are greatly do to minority involvement... MS13 bloods crips etc who get their guns from the blackmarket anyway... and so the vast majority of the gun laws in place in the states don<t affect them.
