US citizens are set to lose the right to travel visa free to the European zone. Days of travelling to Venice or Paris with visa may become a harsh reality that enough is enough. Personally, I think although this may not be a major news in the grand scheme it signals a powerful message to the US. Trump has become too big for his boot and about time to get that smug look off his face. His arrogance and narcissitic idiosyncrasy tendencies has got the better of him in a mess he has created domestically as well as judiciaries generals and people and governments around the world. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/travel/news/us-nationals-to-be-forced-to-apply-to-visas-eu-reciprocity/ btw The Telegraph is a rightwing conservative source. If thir claim is a such I wonder how this lays out with a more centrist liberal European newspapers....

Why all the worldwide turmoil? (9/11 thread)

If you are talking about the Azerbaijan Republic then of course it has Russian influence but the big part of Azerbaijan lies in Iran and doesn't sound anything like russian. -

Wiki is not a vetterd source Argus... Continued.... So technically children whose parents are not british can be entitled to citizenship according to this source: http://www.aboutimmigration.co.uk/giving-birth-child-uk.html -
Twist it all you like. This is not a personal attack. I just don't feel it adds any value trying to highlight a view when it is taken out of context...Yes we know certain factions in iranian government are not exactly found of Israeli government but to say that all jews are hated based on someone's interpretations is disingenious....

Argus...I am willing to bet what you are saying does not apply to UK... -
A lot to do with it... The ambiguity and heresay does not tantamount to real facts. Something that certain members take for granted and represent like a parrot to claim is true.... i retract not bad journalism but awful journalism sensationalising to reach their core base. You obviously felt for that...

kactus replied to betsy's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Que!? That's what I said... You are tge one who claimed european countries donot grant citizenship to people born there and now repeating the same thing I said...You may want to reconsider what you said here.... -
So you judge countries based on attire they wear? How about Sikhs with their turbans or orthodox jews with their attires? This is the hard core of the issue...You don't have tolerance for muslims and their extremists don't have any tolerance for your extremist views. Problem sovled...Neither of you are any better.

It's funny that you are so selective in your argument.... inhmane is meant to refer to the treatment of those poor refugees who went through the hardship risking their lives coming to Canada since your beloved Trump's EO ban deprived them from coming to US. You made the comment about their hardship to escape their country! Donot backtrack from what you already said.... Reality is your cold hearted attitude does not differentiate between a geniune refugee and a terrorist as you have demonstrated here repeatedly. You want to argue the case against them be clear about your intention on refugee status instead of shifting the blame on Trudeau's twitter with open arms taking them...I guess you won't understand this and will go to your default mode of racist rants about refugee crisis to defend the EO ban by Trump...You wanna carry on? Go ahead knock yourself out. If you can't distinguish the good from bad apple it's your problem but don't waste my time trying to expose your ambiguity and double standard for what you truely think of refugees... -
If you want to open another thread to open discussion on Al-Aqsa mosque and israel/ palestinian issue go ahead! But to bring that up here to link it to Iran versus US does not open a valid discussion point but a derailment from topic....

What has this got to do with Iran?

Yep I guess it never was your problem and the rest of you voting and cheerleading for Trump becoming a POTUS.... But now that he is in office shifting the blame to other leaders. Such a typical nonesensical response! -

Don't play games.... You know very well the reason they were turned down at the US border control is because of the ban by Trump. This is inhumane to indiscriminately turn them down even though they may have a valid reason for fleeing their country.... -

Well according to Betsy those poor refugees have made those dangerous trips to get to the US of A risking their lives. How inhumane can the americans be these days? Hmmmmm..... -

Well, UK does grant citizenship to people born and that's technically in Europe. -

Trudeau's reckless tweet as you like to call is one of many responses to Trumps constant bickering on tweeter at 3:00am. Atleast Trudeau has the guts to say it like it is. He is not like an arrogant reckless president that Trupm has proved to be one week in the office. You gotta admit some of these americans like Trump and his supporters behave like a damn a$$ holes that are bad losers to admit when they are wrong and have tge audacity to blame the Canadian prime minister with their own wrong doings. You wanna know the solution? The execution of that EO by Trump was a disaster and he knows it. It's the mess he created and no one is to blame. If he wants to behave like a human being then he should get off his high horses with that arrogant look and start making constructive decisions to allow those refugees back in US... -

First I was talking about immigration in broad context not necessarily just refugees. Second if your beloved president Trump was so humane he wouldn't order for refusal of entry of those poor refugees that made the dangerous trip to the US of A in the first place only to be turned down.... -
POLL: Should Justin Trudeau Keep His Word?
kactus replied to betsy's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Agreed! Further to that by selective I think it requires point system. In UK for the example the government set a quota for an immigrant to earn an income of atleast £18,000 or £22,000 joint. In essence migration through filtering can add net value to canadian economy. That said there is another school of thoughts that argues attracting highly skilled migrants from other countries will create a 'brain drain syndrome' for those countries losing highly technical and skilled professionals to host countries which will inevitably have an impact on their economy and therefore lead to an influx of further migration...So perhaps instead of encouraging these migrants to come to Canada there needs to be a mechanism to create stability in their own countries to attract these highly skilled workers and regulate the flow of migration to Canada and elsewhere. A win win situation.... -
Same narratives that now discredits CNN news outlet with BS lies? No thanks! Must be rubbing off alternative facts...

Donald Trump should be commended for his Muslim Ban.
kactus replied to H10's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
You call this arguing? That's blatantly massaging the words to suit your argument for banning a country. Permanent resudent or the US citizen this guy has valid status to stay, work and bring a spouse. The fact that he may have a green card indicates that he is waiting fir his citizenship. It is semantic. What you are oblivious to or don't seem to grasp is that if that terror suspect was a saudi or someone that is not part of those 7 countries it wouldn't get so much news...Be it for what it is you are trying to punish a country for the action of a somali born US permanent resident. He is rhe US subject and the country he was born is irrelevant. For all I care the guy may have mental issues like any other american. Be it black, white, yellow, brown or hell even an orange tanned man. -

kactus replied to H10's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
You are still missing out the point. Not sure if it's deliberate or naive from your side.... I am not disputing that he is of Somali origin. That is not my point of contention. The point is and remains that he is a US citizen and this issue is domestic to US homeland security. Like I said he could have been a Pakistani, a Saudi, a jew or an indian. This has nothing to do with the country of origin but being selective in your argument to expose people from those 7 countries... -
British Leader Admits Multiculturalism Has Failed Badly

None! An imaginary ficticious word made up by some ex-pats to vent their anger towards immigration on the state of the Economy.... -
These types of articles usually are same way their selected target audience go at any length to make the mud stick... Poor journalism....
