  1. I'm with you there smallc. Let's hope it's a CPC majority.
  2. No frustration at all. I never voted Reform, and voted for Jean Chretien twice, when they weren't taken over by the socialist wing of that party. I vote for the party that I feel will benefit my country the most. Right now that is Stephen harper and the Conservatives. I find most who call themselves progressive have no idea what it means. It sounds trendy to them. That's the reason so many weak-minded university students call themselves progressives....it sounds good.
  3. Because no one can make baseless generalizations as well as smallc.
  4. it opened in 1994. It was closed shortly after the raid in 1996. How is that 5 years? work on your math skills. Don't rely on CUPE to do all your thinking for you.
  5. The word "renewed is not in the article. The massage parlour at 787 Dundas St. W., which ceased operations shortly after the police came calling, opened in 1994 and was among 26 suspected bawdy houses Toronto Police cracked down on with more than 300 charges. Courtesy of Toronto Sun.
  6. you are the king of generalizations. Winnipeg is going nowhere.
  7. I couldn't have said it any better. Many "educated" university students are voting NDP because they always see Layton smiling. That's the level of thought of many university students. I've lived in cities and small towns. Without a doubt, the rural folk were much more level headed.
  8. Where can i read that it was simply not "renewed"?
  9. Yes, many people are delusional. Similar to many city elites who think beef is made at Safeway.
  10. You said it's likely the license was revoked because of illegal activity. Establishments don't lose licenses for handing out gumballs to every 10th customer.
  11. So you admit it was a yank n' tug. Thanks for clarifying that.
  12. Where can a person find info about the leaders expense accounts? It would be interesting to know which leader has racked up the highest expense account.
  13. Actully it closed down after the raid. The authorities found it to be TOO legitimate. http://www.torontosun.com/2011/04/30/mammoliti-had-suspicions-about-velvet-touch
  14. You know a lot about this particular parlour. Why isn't it in business today?
  15. Cybercoma, do you think this is a bigger story than what we are being led to believe?
  16. Actually, quite a few people are commenting on this story at the CBC.
  17. The NDP needs the Liberals. Together they must get 155 seats so they don't have the Bloq association hanging over their heads. However, there are too many sensible Liberals who want nothing to do with the NDP.
  18. Our military has suffered long enough with the shitty Sea King. Quality costs money.
  19. Great video! That looks like a massage table to me, punked.
  20. I already know the NDP is garbage. I'm interested in knowing what Layton was doing at the "Velvet Touch."
  21. Wouldn't it be hard to receive a shiatsu massage on a bed?
  22. Just remember to have a headlight on your bicycle, because it'll be dark when you leave.
  23. Not only take their cars, but I'm sure they will avoid the "Velvet Touch Massage Parlour."
  24. I imagine many candidates feel the same way. Tuesday should be a boom day for Registered Massage Therapists.
