Let me start off by saying I am no fan of Jack Layton. However, I do realize that everyone makes mistakes, as we are all human. Layton may have made a mistake by going to this place which raises suspicions. None of us is perfect. The only thing that really bothers me about this story is the hypocrisy. We all know that if this was a Conservative, it would have been a HUGE story. I don't think anyone in their right mind can deny that.

It's funny I never heard much about this when Chretien won three majorities with around 40% of the popular vote. What a useless thread.

Seems to me this thread is full of people who feel entitled to government funds. The nanny state mentality in this country needs to erode. We need bottom up government. Enough of this top down-Trudeauesque mentality government. Harper is a strong leader with a strong vision for Canada. We should all wish PM Harper the best to lead Canada through the next 4 years.
