  1. Perhaps a few dozen people have accidently been killed in hockey games, but never outright murdered. Who knows, maybe that's where these kids will end up. In the military. Killing people.
  2. This was brought to my attention the other day, and frankly I'm surprised that this is being allowed to continue: a physical education program modelled on the UNITED STATES' special operations unit, the Navy Seals!!!! There are a number of ways in which youth can be motivated to achieve higher standards, so need militarism be resorted to???? http://www.dundasstarnews.com/news/article/158617
  3. Saw this on CNN last night... "It's a gay self-hater" http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/loca..._ricin08m0.html
  4. Actually, a link that I posted a short while ago show that a study in the US shows that it does have "factual basis."
  5. That statement exemplifies the complete illogic of your argument. Yes, Communism is alive and well in Canada, it was brought here by eastern European immigrants, still maintains two political parties, and has infused itself subtly in many small ways into our society. (I would argue that your inability to make a rational argument is a prime example.) As much as I don't like Harper, I wouldn't stoop so low as refer to him as a Communist. Keep in mind that Communism is a secular ideology, something that comes about when anti-Christians like you run rampant and gain power...
  6. Then the same applies for Jews, most Muslims, most Buddhists, and people who are raised with "taditional" Indian myths and legends...
  7. That's the point; language and sexuality are two different things, just like race and sexuality are two different things; but the pro-gay camp ALWAYS draws a comparison between gay rights and civil rights.
  8. More relevant, perhaps, for parents to remove their children from the classroom when the Lord's Prayer is done... oh, wait, that's been totally done away with, hasn't it, in an effort to force a secular, anti-Christian agenda...? So are you saying that Christians are instructing their children to bully children with gay "parents"? Ridiculous. I think most Christians would agree that the children are helpless victims and tools of gay-rights movement and shouldn't be punished.
  9. It's not about being "told" what to think, though... But is you're disdain towards Christianity stem from the fact that you're a feminist? Interesting.
  10. Actually, the people who defended slavery were much more like you and your defense of homosexuality; that this was an "innate" statues, that could not and should not be changed. Most slaves incidently turned to Christianity during this difficult time, and it was a network of Christian activists that worked to free slaves from their bondage; an institution that was born of secular Capitalistic motives and justified to a large extent through notions derived from the pre-Christian polytheistic ancient world.
  11. The Gospels clearly state that there are negative consequences of being a sinner, call it what you will; there's a huge difference between a person screaming that sinners are going to burn in hell right here/right now if they don't change, and simply pointing out what the Gospels state awaits those who choose to continue to sin.
  12. Showing concern for sinners does NOT necessitate accepting their sinful lives and self-serving, disingenuous lies and excuses, their belief in false prophecy and evil beliefs. The Gospels clearly show that their are requirements for salvation and eternal life; it's not something that is open to all for simply being alive--one has to work towards the that goal...
  13. So the big Bush/Cheney devotee isn't among the stereotypical "Bible-thumping" religious right? Interesting...
  14. But isn't that what every follower of Christ is expected to do? Spread the Word?
  15. Having concern for people who sin and are non-followers of Christ is NOT "hatred" nor is it a sin. You're line of reasoning is simply an attempt to box Christians into a corner where they basically have to sibscribe to a non-Christian attitude towards sin and evil. Go figure, an anti-Christian trying to bring down Christians.
  16. Let's see a reference for this. Again, a reference. Why should the child be forced to watch such a video when the video can clearly deal with anti-bullying without being specific. Incidently, the bullying that is inflicted on little children with gay parents is done by other non-Christians.
  17. A child's "innate" sexuality is not homosexuality, no different that a child's "innate" language is English. The way to keep a child from being "confused and racked with guilt" about deviant sexuality is to not allow them to be exposed to it, and to teach them that it is sinful and wrong. Your argument that rasing children not to be sinful and bad is in itself bad is completely absurd and illogical.
  18. Your posts reflect a considerable "lack of reading skills" so,...
  19. Right, and why is that. I've grown up in this society, too, with its inherent need to corrupt and degrade the individual, and I've had my fair share of difficult times; but that doesn't change the fact that I can recognize that there is a better way to live, that society can be better. No child/youth should have to grow up in an environment where evil and sin will corrupt them, where they will be confused and racked with doubt about their sexuality because people/influences are leading them astray into homosexuality and other deviant behaviours.
  20. Yes, that's only to be expected. I used to see things their way to some extent, too; but now I know better... Some of our people come from the East and they had to endure Communism, and what's happening in Canada in some respects is eerily similar. (What's become of the public school system is particularly a concern.) But in the end persecution is something that I expect and endure, as was the case for my forefathers.
  21. Geez, you make it sound as though I'm the sexually and abusive male nurse who has taken up the Six Nations cause...
  22. Oh, so you're concerned about coming across as a homosexual, are you...? How interesting. Whatever the case, you seem to be afflicted with the same sense of illogic that most people in the pro-gay camp have... homosexuals are not "shunned"--they engage in destructive, immoral and sinful behaviour that is inherently negative and corrupting, and so they place themselves in a position where they are sometimes not fully accepted. But of course all people have the ability to change their ways if they truly and sincerely choose, and in a number of cases people have broken free from the gay lifestyle. All you're arguments do is suggest that people are condemned to the gay lifestyle, that they can't change and better themselves. That in itself is very troubling.
  23. Hold on a second, I shouldn't have to live in a society in which I or my children are or could be subjected to sinful behaviour; humans being what they are, this may be wishful thinking, but I have every right to express my feelings on the matter. The person that engages in sinful behaviour is not "lesser" in terms of being a human being, but they do lower themselves on a moral level, and that's what the issue is. Not wanting people to engage in such behaviours, to raise themselves up from sin, is hardly "hatred". Moreover, considering the prevelance of such sinful behaviours, what's really "alive and well" in this society is a hatred of goodness and decency.
