So do i beleive you who is direct contradiction to the Calgary Herald and has provided no proof, or the Calgary Herald...I go with the Herald -

By the way Wyly a preemtive ghosthacked is right. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swine_influenza it also showed up in 1918.
-
Your wrong you have no data, I have data, that shows the human cost for the season flu and the human cost so far this year for the H1N1. You have offered nothing.
-
Flu can be fatal. Each year regular seasonal flu causes 4000-8000 deaths in Canada. http://www.lung.ca/diseases-maladies/a-z/flu-grippe/index_e.php Swine Flu Deaths in Canada to date 111 http://wapedia.mobi/en/2009_flu_pandemic_by_country
-
read the data
-
Aparently you have reading comprehension problems, the H1N1 numbers aren't a yearly average, it is the death toll so far, and it is far below what the seasonal flu virus causes in one year in just one country.

Quebec a loser in stimulus sweepstakes: CP analysis
Alta4ever replied to jdobbin's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
So I can guess you do not beleive that Quebec should have the same rules as the rest of Canada, and you are having to play all these games to justify it to yourself. Got it conversation over. Good night. -
Quebec a loser in stimulus sweepstakes: CP analysis
Alta4ever replied to jdobbin's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
I have no talking points as I don't take direction from any party. Fact is your party passed the budget and the ways and means motion, you have to right to complain. Everyone plays by the same rules aren't all the provinces suppose to be equal? -
Do you want ot rethink this? Average deaths world wide caused by H1n1 approx 6255 http://wapedia.mobi/en/2009_swine_flu_outbreak Average deaths per year cause by seasonal flu in the USA 36000 http://www.cdc.gov/flu/about/disease/us_flu-related_deaths.htm

Quebec a loser in stimulus sweepstakes: CP analysis
Alta4ever replied to jdobbin's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
The stimulus was ment to be spent during the recession to stimulate a stalled economony, the liberals new this when they passed the budget, you knew it when the budget was passed, this is just small petty people looking to pass their short commings off onto someone else. If you and the liberal party of Canada had such a problem with it then you should never have passed the budget last january. You and your party passed it, all of this was in it, the ways and means motions were passed as well by the liberal party, when it comes to the stimulus you have nothing but hot air and spin. Now you have this idea that one province needs to have special treatment because their provincial and municpile governments could get it together and get it done doesn't mean the should have the rules changed just for them. If they had no infrastructure plans on the books then they probablyt didn't need it anyway. -
All those damned cable and tv tax commercials
Alta4ever replied to Argus's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
You actually think that is the case? I would very much like it to be a free enterprise system, I would gladly pay a little more to have the station I wanted to watch, if their was not enough veiwership they would die. Let the market dictate. I know it is an exercise to influence the CRTC and that is why the consumer will lose, the CRTC doesn't care about the consumer, just social engineering project they are engaged in. \ The problem is the industry is too regulated, let the consumer have the choice, not the moron bureaucrat.
