  1. Figure it out for yourself. What a complete load of bs. What if it was scientifically proven? Wow... you're such a free thinker... too bad everything your say, do, or think is the result of influences direct and indirect. Nope. The vast majority of Canadians have been duped into believing that homosexuality is normal, and they are still much more likely to commit suicide. So you're saying that my belief system is something that I have been "indoctrinated" at a young age? Are you sure I wasn't born this way? So how exactly do we go from some vague sense that they are "different" to being gay without some sort of influence into translating this into being gay? Being "different" could mean anything... So what if you found out about sex from a gay relative; what if you had found your uncle's stash of gay porn mags and your uncle told you it was perfectly normal? What if that gay uncle was an important person in your life, and had much influence over your young mind?
  2. Personally I hope the who automotive industry goes belly up.
  3. People routinely mistake me for being about ten years younger than I am.
  4. Well, no it isn't actually... the absence of copious amounts of vulgarity and explatives should have made that fact obvious enough...
  5. No, I don't think I am...
  6. Hopefully that would be south of the 49th...
  7. Geez, thanks. Don't care. Funny, I was just contemplating the fact that you could pass for my twin sister, if I had one. No, because I don't care. Awww... I was rather enjoying it...
  8. So a person who changes their lifestyle is no longer themself? That's pretty bleak. You're essentially saying that a person has no reason or need to change. Sounds to me like you're the one who is condemning people, not me. Homosexuals are much more likely to commit suicide and engage in self-destructive behaviours. It happens. Right... people who are led to believe they are homosexual end up engaging in high risk behaviour and are more likely to commit suicide. There you go again... Prove it. ? So they think they are gay simply because they feel "different"? How is a child supposed to understand sexual attraction, and that the fact that they feel "different" stems from the fact that they are homosexual rather than simply being overly sensitive to what their peers say?
  9. So are you then likening homosexuals to monkeys?
  10. God didn't "create gays". If you're you're so bloody igonrant of the facts, what makes you even think that you are qualified to engage in any sort of reasoned discussion on this subject?
  11. This is a perfect example of false logic.
  12. And's it's like this despite the fact that kimmy hasn't lived there for the last two years? Interesting...
  13. Whoa!!! Where's this coming from?!?! I'm not pursuing anything, becuase I personally couldn't care less what she said. I'm just glad she and McCain weren't elected, even though it would have made SNL great to watch again... That said, I'm not sure how this sentence connot be understood that she believes the war is God's will: "our national leaders are sending them out on a task that is from God" ?????
  14. You wouldn't happen to know who's been stealing all that tobacco in Brant county the last couple of months, would you? WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?!
  15. Actually, the reason that the program was cancelled was because it was a better interceptor (not "strike fighter") than anything the Americans had. It was actually quite possible then, but things have changed considerably since then and probably couldn't be done even if the Americans let us.
  16. Yeah, and I guess they fought for your right to label anyone with an opposing viewpoint "whiners"--in other words, to be an intellectual half-wit and dyed-in-the-wool middling ignoramous. You talk about a few aboriginal veterans as if they won the war--all the rage nowadays making a disprorportionately huge stink over a trivial aspect of the war. Oh what would the Americans have done in the South Pacific had it note been for their Navaho "code talkers"? Well, they still would have won--that's for sure. They just would have had to have devised some codes and spent time training a bunch of non-Indian radio operators how to use it. No big deal considering the enormity of the American war effort. Please, let's kepp things in perspective... And for the record, my father, grandfathers, great-grandfathers, great-great-grandfathers, etc. served or fought for home and family, and certainly not so that I would have to be subjected to your postcolonialist blowhard revisionist drivel.
  17. Many Nazis would have agreed with you. Very social darwinistic. Nazism was founded on such social darwinistic principles. No big surprise. They would still be themselves if they gave up the gay lifestyle. Again, I'm not sure how I'm the one condeming them if they are the ones living the lifestyle.
  18. That explains why homosexuality was known to exist among high ranking Nazis. I'm not religious, but I think the word nicely encapsulates what bad behaviour is. Many people invoke God yet are not religious. Canada has never engaged in the persecution of any religion, but I think has come closest with Christianity.
  19. anti-Semite, you are... I've never referred to anything as the "Will of God" nor do I quote Bible verses.
  20. Oh, I highly doubt that they fought for the right of "sexual expression" and the "right" of gays to engage in pederasty. Most of these men came from strictly conservative, Anglo-Saxon households.
  21. You really need to look beyond blind sentimentality to what Canada was in 1914 and 1939. There are newspapers that have been digitized that will allow you to read for yourself. Also, I would be happy to compile a list of books you should be able to still find at the local university.
  22. I'm kind of reading it that that is what she meant, though; but I agree, there are more important shortcomings...
  23. Okay, now it's clear what type of person you are.
  24. Many fascists would agree with you. I've never expressed a "religious viewpoint" on this issue. Unless you mean by my use of the word "sin". Which ones? Evil and sin are negative characteristics; people who behave in evil and sinful ways do things do things that are harmful and destructive to themselves and society. So could you please explain to me how wanting people to not be "harmful and destructive to themselves and society" is "intolerant"? Is our legal system "intolerant" for being based on a Criminal Code that attempts to minimize the "harmful and destructive" tendancies of unlawful Canadians? An ineffectual argument to say the least. Things along these lines have happened before, but only by states and regimes that were in themselves evil--eg. the Soviet Union. If it came to the point where Canada began persecuting Christians, then I would say that Canada as a nation is a failed experiment and I would not care whether it continued to exist or not.
  25. Where's the hatred? If you don't know what those men and women fought and died for, and that it isn't the Canada that we now have, then that's your problem.
