You're kidding, right. Nope. Just answer the question. -

But you forget. I don't believe in the creationist mythology. Therefore, for me, sin is non-existent. And God was talking to who specifically in these passages? -
I find it amusing that Fibleaf claims to know what warnings someone might privately get. More accurately though, she found it ironic that after playing high school monitor and reporting Scott and Shark numerous times she made herself a pain in the ass to the moderator and was given a taste of her own medicine. Good riddance to a useless pillock..... Typical. You just can't help but resort to insults. But that's great since you're just the sort of poster Greg seems to want to keep around here. Anyway, for your information, since your reading skills are clearly inadequate, both Scott and Sharkman themselves stated above that they had received warnings, hence how I know. As for your 'Fibleaf' line, it's even more ironic, since you're a demonstrated liar, while I was always scrupulously honest in my posts. Bye, Dancer, I won't miss you. I too take my leave and won't return. I don't need the mean spiritedness and insults that have replaced honest debate.

People make mistakes, even Christian leaders. What I can't stand is how they go in front of their congregation, usually after they're caught, and play on the "everyone is a sinner" line, and ask forgiveness. That's what keeps these buffoons in the limelight. And that's why they deserve the label hypocrite. -

What do you mean called me on it, you critisize what you don't understand. When Christ said let those without sin cast the first stone he was talking about hypocrites. But what you really don't understand is that God also said that no one is without sin, meaning that in his eyes no one is held to higher standard. So who are you to place yourself above others on moral issues and worse yet, God. So the Pope isn't held to a higher standard? Amazing? And oh, please quote where God him/her self said no one is without sin. You don't seem to understand I'm not a follower or a Christian, or any of the above. I am totally free to call hypocrisy without all the moral baggage. -

WTF are you talking about? You go off on a "Let he without sin cast the first stone" rant and I called you on it. I'm not a Christian so I can certainly call "hypocrite" when I see it. Religious leaders of all stripes are held to a higher standard as leaders of the church. When they screw up morally, they are in fact hypocrites. Pretty easy call. -

Let he without sin cast the first stone. That's presupposing we're all Chrisitians. I'll cite moral hypocricy whenever I see it, especially where religious leaders are concerned. They ARE held to a higher standard. do you notice jazzer, that rather then discuss the topic at hand, and pursue an honest discussion with the FACTS, I stated , they lodge a number of personal attacks. The signs of the weakness are obvious and blatant! You're right. Many of the right side of the equation prefer that sort of tactic. The big picture seems to elude most of them. -
You sound like one of those psychics. Sure, something may go down, but most of us have bought into the fear factor, thanks to Dubya et al.

Michael Moore 2 questions for the candidates

The point made is that Sherrod Brown has paid his own coverage since 1992. Will the next President do the same? -
Michael Moore 2 questions for the candidates

Question for Moore. Who does he think is going to work for free so you can have free health care. Too bad you aren't running for office. That is a typical political response. -

So is it your contention that the Islamic world has not contributed to the human experience, and has only provided grief, suicide bombers and oil? -
Jewish girl attacks Palestian girl: MUST SEE VID!
jazzer replied to mikedavid00's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
See guys? This is the response Xul gives. He really doesn't care what we as Canadians think. He just cares about our policy to let him in and then his family. Why do you think I say what I do towards Xul? I know he doens't care neither does he take it personally. What's amazing is people here on the forum are more upset than Xul. This is the 'CBC' led Canadianism that you guys have. People suggesting I get kicked over having an opinion on our policy. At the end of the day, Xul proved my point and rubbed it in your face. He got a laugh out of it like I did. He almost gloats and grins that he's coming here with a 'tough luck' attititude and finds it all a joke. And then people here want me to be nice and welcoming to him. Maybe the lesson here should be on you guys? Maybe you should rethink your own position, be open minded, and see how this thread played out, then ask your own self why you decided to hate on my opinion, and feel that the red carpet should be rolled out for Xul. Question why you feel you need to treat him this way. Ask why your emotion ran so strong because I brought up someone who is not in Canada. The feeling was so strong to protect him. Yet other posters easily slander each other on a daily basis with no intervention. 'Canada has lots of hot girls and I want to come'. Don't you see, the joke is on all of you; me and Xul are the ones lauging actually. Think about it. Xul is the bigger man here. Still doesn't make your comments appropriate in the least. -

I guess he forgot this little forum rule: NO PERSONAL ATTACKS Please respect others using this board by refraining from personal attacks. There is a huge difference between disagreeing with a thought or idea and attacking an individual. We encourage lively debate and intelligent critiques of others viewpoints, not tirades against another poster. -

Way to welcome him to this forum. You've outdone yourself. -
Best not to ask why, though some bannings appear quite arbitrary.

We do not know how we would feel or think when faced with such a harrowing situation...when we're consumed by grief. It is a human tendency to lash out at someone or anything when we are in pain. You know what I pray for? That God does not put me to the test. And if He does, that I may find the courage and the strength to face whatever comes my way....that I may not fail His test. There is one individual who had inspired me with the strength of his faith. He was a Christian farmer who had lost all his 8 children and wife in a fire about 3 years ago. He was asked at that time while he was burying his dead, how he was dealing with it. And he said that it is his faith in God that keeps him strong. Imagine the pain of losing all. Gotta wonder if he asked God "Why?"
-
Tell that to the starving children in Africa.

The probably of the phone ringing is not 50% just because there are only two possible outcomes. Surely your knowledge of probability and statistics can't be so limited that the above statement was serious. Read my previous post. To many religious folks who pray, it is a matter of getting what was prayed for or not. Statistics hardly enter into it when a prayer is "granted" with odds terribly against it. I suppose then the word "miracle" would be applied. I really don't think people calculate the odds when praying for a child with an incurable illness to recover.
-
My point was that everything can come down to yes or no from God when it comes to prayer.
-
Either the phone rings or it doesn't. And this has nothing to do with a believer or non-believer. Whatever gets you through the night. But I have seen much heartache from people who put all their eggs in God's basket. For the record I am a believer, just not of organized religion.
