  1. It's normal for people to hold a current government to account because the previous government is no longer able to put its stamp on current government policy and spending. Mainstream Canadians assess the government in power not the one they discarded in the last election. Speaking of immigration as a wedge issue, it is Trudeau that is setting the tone by calling a citizen racist and intolerant simply for asking a relevant question regarding expenditures for illegal migrants. You are blind if you can't see that.
  2. Slick, Harper is long gone. I suspect if Trudeau was Blackbeard reincarnated you would still defend him because he's not Harper. Get over Harper and tell us what you really think of Trudeau the Impaler.
  3. Trotskyism. : the political, economic, and social principles advocated by Trotsky; especially : the theory and practice of communism developed by or associated with Trotsky and usually including adherence to the concept of worldwide revolution as opposed to socialism in one country.

Yep....Trotsky was all about continuous revolution to stop what the Soviet Union had become, and one reason Stalin had him killed in Mexico.

  4. https://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/politics/second-reading/cbc-pollsterliberal-adviser/article1367070/ Did Graves influence the Liberal campaign and governing style? Or did the Liberals come up with this strategy all by themselves? Graves subsequently apologized for his incendiary comments but too late, the ink was set. https://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/politics/ottawa-notebook/pollster-frank-graves-apologizes-denies-anti-tory-bias/article4352832/
  5. There it is. Trudeau and the Liberals have launched a culture war as a means to denigrating political opponents as its main strategy for reelection. This has probably in the works almost as soon as they were elected.
  6. "

The Liberal government took steps to bar Omar Khadr from attending a celebration near Parliament Hill in late June where Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was the keynote speaker, even though Mr. Khadr was not on the guest list for the invitation-only event.

Two sources have confirmed to The Globe and Mail that Mr. Khadr and his wife, Muna Abougoush, were in the Parliament Buildings on June 19, the same day as an annual celebration of the Muslim holiday Eid al-Fitr in the Sir John A. Macdonald building, a parliamentary reception hall. The annual event includes members of the public, and MPs and senators from all parties."

    https://www.theglobeandmail.com/politics/article-liberals-were-ready-to-block-omar-khadr-if-he-tried-to-attend-event/

Anyone objecting to Khadr wandering around the Parliament buildings is branded a bigot, Islamophobic and racist.

Once again Liberals and Trudeau play both sides of the issue. On one hand they give Khadr $10M of taxpayer money and on the other hand they treat him as radioactive by refusing to grant him unfettered access to the Parliament buildings and government officials.

  8. Certainly not the kind of person that has daddy's trust fund to fall back on when needed.
  9. This is not right. When I become old and withering I want my turn at hallway medicine, and if I'm lucky a long term bed in a hospital ward. Guess now I'll have to compete with newly arrived old and withering immigrants for a spot.
  10. Waves of 10 million + is quite a few European illiterates. Do you have a site to support your statement?
  11. It was just a matter of time before this matter was reported outside Canada. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-45250920 Asking the PM about costs related to illegal migrants is not "politics of fear and intolerance". The more I see Trudeau in action, the more I think he lives in an alternate universe.
  12. https://torontosun.com/news/national/warmington-pm-trudeaus-encounter-with-heckler-raises-questions Damage control is in high gear. Now, we're hearing from unnamed sources that the woman in the video is a member of a known racist group.
  13. The Prime Minister was at an event in Quebec where a woman in the crowd asked him when he would pay back the $146M Quebec spent on illegal migrants. Trudeau did not answer but responded by calling her intolerant. He clearly tried to drown out her questions by telling her there is no room for intolerance in Canada which he yelled out repeatedly. She was strong armed by a member of the security personnel who tried to get her name. The altercation caused clearly visible bruises on her upper arm. On the way out of the event the woman asked Trudeau a question and he called her a racist Here is the French video of the whole altercation. No doubt it will soon be available in English. https://www.journaldemontreal.com/2018/08/20/vive-alteraction-entre-justin-trudeau-et-une-dame-lors-dun-rassemblement-liberal-a-sainte-anne-de-sabrevois It's a sad day in Canada when a citizen can't ask the Prime Minister a question without being accused by the PM of being intolerant and racist, and being manhandled by security for no reason.
  14. Where's that Liberal scrapbook? Better keep it handy. Here's a pic of Trudeau with a proven and vocal anti-Semite who was presented with a certificate of volunteerism. by a Liberal MP. The MP had to withdraw it and issue an apology to Canadians.

Meanwhile, they take down statues of our PM but one of our MPs et al  dedicate a park named Jinnah Park after the founder of Pakistan, a country with no religious freedom and Sharia law, you know reasons why people leave there to come to Canada.

Anti Semitism with a smile is what it is.

When gov`t shows extreme prejudice to any and all special interest/ethnic groups it will cause anger, nothing to do with Bernier, he just actually says it.

  15. Justin Trudeau tells the widow of the civilian murdered he could not meet with her and her sons while in Fredericton to offer condolences cause he was too busy meeting with the families of the 2 murdered police officers. Understandably, she did not take it well. https://atlantic.ctvnews.ca/fredericton-widow-says-she-swore-at-trudeau-during-condolence-call-1.4055945 Another example of Trudeau's lack of tact and class.
  16. Yippie!!! Another stat holiday to be announced by the Feds to mark the residential schools :'legacy'.

    https://www.ctvnews.ca/politics/ottawa-plans-to-announce-new-stat-holiday-1.4053676

What else can we commemorate for a nice paid national holiday. How about National All Religions Day? You know, diversity is our strength.

  17. That includes politicians who see each of those refugees as a potential vote.
  18. Here's another one for the Liberal Party scrapbook. The mosque in question lost its charitable status for preaching hate and intolerance.

Looking at that photo, I can't help noticing that the hands of the 2 Liberal politicians are not visible but the hands of the 3 mosque officials are in full view. Who's hugging who? Hmm.

  19. Some posters here have articulated opinions more interesting and plausible than the opinion of the CBC link you provide. I did not learn anything new by reading that opinion piece.
  20. That depends whether Trudeau/Freeland don't make another boneheaded undiplomatic move to escalate the situation. Sure, but it's a great place to vent.
  21. Sovereign states have the right to set their own justice systems without interference from other nations. Let's reverse the situation and suppose it was the KSA that was publicly criticizing Canada for being too lenient in prosecuting and punishing criminals. Would Canada remain silent? Or would Canada rebuke the KSA for interfering. The answer is fairly obvious.
  22. I don't think Trudeau has the stamina, physically and emotionally, to get his ass over to Riyadh to repair the relationship. It requires more brains for face to face diplomacy than jogging shirtless and marching in pride parades.
  23. Forget it Greg. Chalk it up to a moment of confusion on my part.
  24. I'm watching The Godfather again. I know, I should get a life. But it seems every time I watch it, I see something I missed the last time I watched it.
