Don't let this type of nonsense bother you. Like Blueblood said, no-one hates homosexuals, and I frankly couldn't care less what they do in their bedrooms, although it would be nice if they latexed their dicks so they didn't spread AIDs, but not hating them doesn't mean one has to accept them as normal either. I don't, and when it begins to impact me by having my kids subjected to normalization propaganda, it becomes my business. But as far as "hating" them goes, that would be silly. It's the same tactic used by Muslim groups after 911 and still in full swing...to bellyache and moan that everyone hates Muslims and that they're in some kind of danger. Homosexuals did this for years...took the odd gaybashing incident and blew it up into an almost entirely fabricated epidemic of "hate" and "homophobia". It don't mean nuttin'.

I think, as a not particularly Christian nominal Christian, that it won't be long before folks are forced by facts to start acknowledging this thing as a religious war, whether 'secular vs Islam' or 'Christian vs Islam'. Given that both mainstream Sunni and Shia Islam are quite clear about the need to protect other Muslims, that makes a huge swath of mainstream Muslims as "insane" as the fellow you overheard. Once a successful large attack, either nuclear or biological, by "extremists" takes place on North American soil resulting in lots and lots of casualties, this deliberate use of euphemism and happytalk will end. Obviously Islam is already circling the wagons via CAIR, CAIR-Can and numerous other Islamic groups, and sooner or later the other side will too. Nothing like 1000s of deaths to shock a society into a realization of the immediacy of war. It's wonderful to be able to sit back and pontificate on high ideals and the niceties of social justice when it's only a couple of casualties 'over there', but when the guts splatter over your own front steps, it brings things into better focus.

Montreal next site for next "false flag" event?
ScottSA replied to wendy's topic in Provincial Politics in Canada
911 was the first false flag event. It just got out of hand. Then Spain and then London, but those were just fakes perpetrated by the coalition of International Jewry, Bushitler, and the invisible sky monster bankers and their mass mindmelds. -
That's unfortunate. It sets a precedent in Canadian law that bodes ill for the future of freedom of speech. On top of that, Zundel would never be known if he hadn't been given so much attention. Now he's a household name, and I suspect it's only a matter of time before he becomes a posterboy for the new and trendy anti-semitism of the left.

Not until you stop bumping it. Sorry. I must admit it's fun watching river use Polly to mop the floors. -
WTC7 Demolition on mainstream news site
ScottSA replied to wendy's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
To wit: "My kingdom for a horse!" proves that Richard III really really liked horses. -
I suspect there's fire where there's smoke. Harper has an uncanny knack for not using hamhanded tactics, and especially if they have the potential to backfire. My understanding is that the previous investigation only went back to 2003, and this one is going back 15 years. Lots of Liberal skeletons in the closet in the 90s.

Why not tell us all about Einstein's theories and how they relate to today's technology Woody?

Will this silly thread never die? -
We've had this discussion before. You were wrong then and wrong now. We agreed to wait and see. That was 1998 as I recall...how are we doing so far?

Here we go, get out the tinfoil hats and kool-aid. Shhhh...I'm still waiting for my check from the Deny Global Warming Bushitlerburton Foundation.

Harper linked to American far Christian right
ScottSA replied to hiti's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Good Grief. This is soooo lame. Khrushchev talked to American politicians; does that make him a capitalist? Nixon visited China; does that make him a Chinese Communist? And every Canadian politician that I can remember has gone to Church, even Chretien, who was a woooscary Catholic. What nonsense this stuff is. -
Harper's "new" government corrupt military contracts.
ScottSA replied to hiti's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
It's hilarious watching Liberal supporters lurking about watching for the Conservative fatal flaw, and then leaping up shouting: "There! Did you see that? There go the evil Conservatives doing something almost as bad as the Liberals! Impeach the bums!" -
Multiculturalism will not kill society. Ignorance and bigotry can. Poverty and unemployment kills a society. If multiculturalism kills society, then why not just segragate everything again? Have we made no social advancements in the last few centuries? How does the nice elderly Lebanese woman next door destroy our society? Also do you realize that Canada and the US had depended on immigration from all over the world in order to continue to grow. How has it killed our society? I don't see it dead or even dying. And this society is great because of immigration and multiculurasmsmsms... Even other white people have different customs and traditions. And some would offend the skin off you. But you have not complained about that. Even your statement of 'whites built this society', they destroyed another society in the process(native american indians) or are you denying that? There was no chance for multiculturism. White man came and took everything. And now you want to deny what everyone else wants when you cannot even take the high ground because the society that was built by the white man destroyed another. There was no tolerance at all. I can't really do anything but present this post as a superlative example of the mind-numbing naivetee that is leading us down the garden path. It's a product of headinthesand oblivionism.

myata is one of those who learned history from the comicbook version of the New Left Review. In this view of history, the CIA runs around "installing" regimes willy nilly, while the poor little brown folk are deemed too stupid to figure it out, and utterly powerless to overcome the mindmeld Bwana has on him.

Too bad they didn't juxtapose Nick Berg's prisonerhood with Abu Griab. Gawd...how some people hate their own side so much that they'll play propaganda films by the other side, even knowing full well that they're nonsense. It's stunning to me that people who live in the very best society in the world can be so spoiled that they turn on it in the name of some non-existent notion of social "justice".

No, what's moronic is if he did it accidentally after having years to practice taking the right dosage of meds. Not everyone is at your level of intellectual functioning Woody, and Fox seems like a fairly bright guy. Plus, he said he manipulated the meds....at least on one occasion.

No, not my style . You know where you do/have posted. Yes I do. I would suggest that if it's your style to spread rumours about folks, it's hardly worse to back it up, don't you think? If you would like to reveal something about me, please do...I give you permission. I'd like to know about these transgressions of mine too.

Troop surge is working
ScottSA replied to JerrySeinfeld's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Why have Bulgarians supported Naziism? they were forced into it? they were under the influence of the Imperius Curse? Well, Woody, it's like this: when a big bad country invades an itsy bitsy country, they install friendly regimes in those countries. This shouldn't be hard for you to understand, since you've been arguing it for years about Iraq. Unless of course you are going to argue that there are more Republican Party Iraqis than there are American... -
Sorry, Charlie, the truth is, he wasn't. 'manipulating his symptoms' at all. Rush Limbaugh is a liar and a fraud and uses callous, libelous comments as his base line for all other commentary. Those clowns who follow him, are just foolish dupes. Either he was overmedicated or undermedicated, but either way he manipulated the appearance. Unless you're going to argue that he was too stupid to take the right amount of medication even though he had been taking it for years. If he was taking the presciption amount, then it's just a bit more than odd that he and his doctor hadn't discovered the right amount years before, eh wot. You've been proven wrong, and although it's not the first time, you helped to prove yourself wrong. On top of that, you've helped expose Fox as a liar to boot! Good going Woody! I bet the left loves having your help. I know the right does...

It has something to do with Ludditism. Anything new is bad; especially if it involves great smelly machinery like combines and those great big CO2 emmitting tractor thingies. Why not go back to plowing with oxen? Non-farting oxen, mind you... Except that the things you list are not new, having been a farmer for most of my life I was not around when these items were not used. Oxen were a hundred years before I was born. Boy, things sure fire over your head at speed, don't they? Look up "irony".

GM Corn linked to Kidney, Liver Toxicity
ScottSA replied to buffycat's topic in The Rest of the World
Perhaps global warming caused GM foods. No, wait...perhaps GM foods caused Global Warming? -
So, was Bush one of the myraid "Nazis" who were in Britain and the US?

I have an idea. How about saying: "No. This is Britain, not India." For those who are concerned about "bigotry", aside from my personal stalker who is a kneejerk thinker at best, why must "tolerance" be so one sided? When you move into a new house, do you require the neighbours to change their habits to accomodate you? Do you expect them to? Why is it that we assume most others require us to change? Our present frame of mind in the west; our fixation on multiculturalism; is going to destroy our society. People come here to escape the horrendous mess their social system made of their own homeland, yet we are all too willing to change our social system to their's. It's not by accident that we live in affluence here. It's not an accident of natural resources; there are more in Africa and Asian than in Europe. It's not an accident of better guns; the guns came from a spirit of invention born in the enlightenment and unique to the west. It certainly isn't explained away by Jared Diamond's 'guns germs and steel'. In one sense it's simple, and in another infinitely complex: through a number of circumstances the west began to view the world in a certain way. Once it adopted this way of thinking (what post-modern and standpoint feminists call "male" rationalism) it had no choice but to advance, and to organize society in such a way as to facilitate such an advance. It is long past time we recognized that we have built the best society the world has ever seen, in spite of its imperfections, and stop allowing it to be torn down in the name of "tolerance". If there is an accident, it is the accident of race...the folks who built our society happen to be white, and my stalker is quite wrong when he accuses me of "racism", although if I saw that as germaine to this question I would certainly talk about it too. I am concerned about multiracial immigration, but for quite another reason: the rate of floodgate immigration that is going on now is effectively Balkanizing the west...and all the propaganda in the world about "vibrancy" and "richness" isn't changing it a whit. The first rule any salesman learns is that people like people who are like them. That's a fact, and it's as much a fact today as it was in ancient Britannia or Han China, and there is very little we can do to change that fact. If multiracial immigration were slowed to a trickle, there would be little problem, but at its present rate I cringe for the future. But that's an entirely different topic.
