Maybe you need to put the kool-aid down and do some reading. Chomsky has been raked over the coals by many, many people not least of which is Alan Dershowitz. I have read his books and Chomsky puts facts in his books, but draws wild ideological and illogical conclusions from them. That's called SPIN and that's what his books are all about. His references are often nothing to do with what he is talking about at all or in other cases he selects a narrow band of 'facts' and disregards all else that are counter to his agenda. He doesn't write books so much as he writes propoganda pieces. Goebbels would have been proud. I do not think asking the newly neutered opposition to support one of their key election promises is bullying, but call it what you will - it matters not to me. If the Liberals want an election they can have one, if they don't then.. they don't. It's entirely up to them. Regardless, the point is moot, the Liberals will cave in like they always do. It's easy to do when you stand for nothing.

He may be worried that it would change his utopian PC outlook on life. Personally, when someone tells me they are going to change things to be their way or the highway, I tend to take them for their word. I think it would be nieve to do anything else.

I think Afghanistan will be ok, long term espeically if the Messiah sends more troops there in an Iraq-like surge. Whatever the case, I do think it's time the CF had a break.

All the Liberals will have to do if they don't want an election is support the CPC's promises which they won the election on. If they want to hold up the democratic process, the Canadian public will judge them even more harshly on an early election of their doing.

This attitude again shows the hubris of a certain section of the Liberal party in my opinion. It is this very attitude that the Liberals need to exorcise from the party in it's next leadership convention. I mean they just got handed their largest defeat in modern history and some members are already talking about not supporting bills (that by the way are supported by 80% plus of the population by the last polling I saw on it). As it was one of the CPC's central promoses,, I think it should be a confidence motion. Call their bluff and give them some much deserved modesty which they just can't seem to get through their melons any other way.

Yes, I don't believe that there is anything to it other than these two FOX reporters were going to draw conclusions on something that they had no proof for. That is poor journalism and rightfully, FOX fired them both. By the way, there are lots of drugs that are recalled after 'bad information' got out on them and they are recalled. CEO's go to jail if they willfully expose the public to risk. No one has any proef that this hormone is bad for people and the countries who are banning it are taking a wait and see cautionary approach. And who knows, maybe it does have bad long term affects, I don't know and you know what? No one else does either including these two fox reporters which I imagine is the crux of Monsanto's argument. If it were true then Monsanto would not have a legal leg to stand on. pretty simple. Not all large pharmacare companies are fascists.
