  1. Where oh where do you come with all this energy to feign moral outrage and great personal offense?
  2. That's true. One cannot discount the fact that many people will read what ever Oprah tells them to.
  3. Sure, so alot of people are just as celf-centered as Barack.
  4. Sure, if you are choosing them specifically because they are black. That would be racist wouldn't it? Have you researched each individual choice for delegates? Have you found any evidence that suggests that the GOP chose white delegates specifically because they are white? The place where I live is pretty much a sea of white faces, well about as much of a sea as a small community can muster. Is that racism too? Hell, I here there's a lot of Asian faces in China. And by the way, American Woman. This argument of yours works two ways. Could it not be argued that the sea of Vote Obama pins among a crowd of African Americans equally suggests racism?
  5. Or maybe they just chose people!
  6. If you are going to take my assertion that Obama has done nothing so literally that you are now calling it a baseless falsehood, then you should also be out there barking at anyone who mentions the "sunrise". Or maybe you were referring to my claim that Obama uses the washroom, when you say I am resorting to falsehoods and baseless personal attacks.
  7. Yep, that a 47 year old man who has not been on the political scene for so long as to warrant some sort of interesting memoir, thinks so highly of himself that he is his own favourite topic.
  8. And what if they just chose people they thought were good for the job to be their delegates irrespective of their color? Sorry we don't just choose black people specifically for their blackness. If you think black people ought to be exploited for political gains, its no wonder you vote Democrat.
  9. OK Stephen. You win. Obama has probably done something. I think most people here understood full well what I meant when I said he wrote two memoirs without having really done anything. I am sure everyone understands that's not completely literal, except for you (although I think you understood it as well). For instance the very fact that he uses the washroom would make my statement literally inaccurate. Do you leap down people's throats this way when they comment on the beautiful sunrise? "You ignoramus, the Earth revolves around the sun, it doesnt rise, idiot!" You probably don't. Unless they somehow mentioned the sunrise in an argument against Barack. Then you would be shreaking victory.
  10. Oh really, well the school certainly considered the sex ed presentation mandatory for students. When parents filed complaints about it, they were turned away. And courts told concerned parents if they don't like it, they can haul their children out of school. Maybe this is the sort of thing Sarah Palin is referring to. Just an idea, eh.
  11. Suzi Landolphi's Hot, Sexy, Safer presentations to schools might certainly qualify. During the course of her presentation to Chelsmford High school in Chelmsford, Massuchusetts, she asked to students to make their best orgasm faces in front of a camera, asked a male student on stage to lick a condom with her, made comments about the cuteness of one male student's rear end, and suggested that one male student was wearing loose fitting pants as a clever means to hide his erections. Her presentation ended with having a girl place an oversized condom on a boys head and blowing it up.
  12. Which brings to light another tactic they use! First they make a blatant insult. Instead of whining, we point out that an insult does not consititute an argument. And after we have so defended ourselves, and thrown in a little barb of our own, for good measure, they immediately become victims and whine.
  13. Thats hardly the point. I am sure Obama has done something. Cocaine comes to mind. Chumming around with unrepentant terrorists also comes to mind. And while McCain spent four years being tortured learning his love for America, Obama spent 20 years in a pew learning how to loathe it. But at this point I don't think he has done enough to convince me that writing two memoirs is anything more than an over inflated sense of self. What I am getting at is you people spent the entire week charging Sarah Palin was not experienced. When she defends herself you are all outraged and feigning deep insult. The fact that a biography has been written about her means that someone else thinks she was valuable enough to write home about. Barack wrote an two autobiographies which means he thinks he is something to write home about.
  14. Once again, Stephen Best displays the how the Left can dish it out but can't take it. My calling her argument meaningless apparently is a bigger insult than her calling me an ignoramus.
  15. If I name one thing Sarah Palin has done will you shut your yap about her.
  16. Another interesting performance we have seen this week, is the theatrical outrage over Palin's decision to bring to light the matter of her daughter's pregnancy. After, temporarily removing their "I have a Crush on Obama " pins, several humans who happen to be female have made appearances on tv telling us how utterly appalled they are over this. They are in a state of absolute shock it seems. This begs the question, what would these people have been saying had Palin not come out and mentioned her daughter's pregnancy, and the news media did some time later? Call me crazy, but I think it's quite safe to say this would be their "Palin scandal du jour". She hid it from us. The same people complaining about Palin bringing this matter out, would have been even more outraged if she had been silent and "hidden" it. But, now that I have reached the last section of this post, I am starting to rethink my idea that these people are feigning righteous outrage. After all, they do have one hell of a good reason to be outraged at Sarah Palin as concerns this matter. By doing the completely natural thing and going public with her daughter's pregnancy before someone else does, Sarah Palin has denied them the opportunity for a scandal that would not be quite as feeble.
  17. In response to the assertion she had none . Thin gruel compared to what? A person who thinks so highly of himself he writes two memoirs before he has even done anything.
  18. An example of the well-thought out arguments one hears from the Left towards anyone who disagrees with them.
  19. Reminds me a bit of another Cuda I know, named Betsy. And I am glad to see her back!!
  20. Lol American Woman. Perfect. You have now established why we think "Change", Obama's non-specific campaign promise, is not a necessarily a good policy. You are all of a sudden acting like Sarah Palin invented change. I simply said she brought more change in the last week, in reference to the fact that your guy is the one who keeps harping on about it. I am terribly sorry for lacking respect of your messiah, and referring to him as Barry. In the future I will refrain from blaspheming Barack.
  21. Not bad. Let me help you out here. You have it kind of reversed. When Sarah Palin pointed out she had executive experience that was the Republicans pointing out "the rules Democrats apply to us, are suspended when...." A week ago, you folks were all over Sarah about her experience. So now when, in her own defense, she points out "well hey, just a minute here, I might actually have more than your guy", you are leaping to the defensive and whining about it. She said look, why don't you hold the messiah at the top of your ticket, to the same standard you are holding the VP candidate on ours. Sarah Palin has bigger balls than you.
  22. Well, it was your prerequisite. A week ago, your camp was concerned about what experience the lady might have, and now when she has some ........."whats this canard I keep hearing about....."
  23. American Woman, if you will simply read the previous posts, you will see that I already acknowledged the fact that I did not immediately recognize the fact that Canadien was joking. But I also explained that by the time I realized it, Dobbin had jumped on the Obama is Christ train, so the majority of my arguments were aimed at him, along with a great deal of leftists I have been talking to in "American" political chat rooms, who are now telling me Jesus is a leftist and just like Obama.
  24. Point taken Canadien. I only realized that after posting that rebuttal to you, but then JDobbin seemed quite taken with the connection. May I also say, I think you gave some pretty good constructive criticism on how Palin could have made her point without belittling a specific profession.
