  1. He took over $4 million in gifts and didn't report them. If it were a liberal justice, you would surely be calling for them to be impeached
  2. Is it mockery if someone who has committed adultery participates in a representation of the last supper? Because that's an actual commandment broken. There are only 10 of those.
  3. I didn't see mockery, unless you consider their very existence to be a mockery. I don't because I'm a Christian and I actually paid attention to Christ's teachings. I would never distort His teachings to denigrate my neighbors and try to score political points.
  4. Why would they make anti-corruption laws to require disclosure of extravagant gifts if this was not evidence of corruption?
  5. He didn't disclose the "gifts" from his "friends." The rules say he must. Do you guys always debate by rehashing the same basic questions over and over again because you have no defence for such corruption?
  6. No. I think Clarence took the gifts as payment for judgments he made. That's why he hid them. He's as corrupt as they come
  7. Don't use Christ to denigrate your neighbours just to score political points. Real Christians find you offensive.
  8. The mocking of God was all in your head. You should look into that It's only offensive if you have anti-Christian beliefs, like that certain people are lesser in the eyes of God. You can celebrate God if you cut your hair, if you dress funny...even if you blatantly break a sacred commandment, such as commit adultery like Trump did repeatedly. This is Christian Love! đź’ž
  9. The rules he broke are in place to prevent corruption. The actual argument is whether you think those rules should be enforceable.
  10. Women love it when political hacks try to pull this. Keep doing it! You're sure to win!
  11. Your reading comprehension is low. Taking gifts is allowed (with conditions). Taking gifts and not disclosing them, thereby violating the anti-corruption rules, is corruption.
  12. I already told you. He took gifts and broke the anti-corruption rules by not disclosing them. All Biden is calling for is a means of enforcing these anti-corruption rules.
  13. Again, if you think Ginsberg was corrupt, dig her up and put her on trial.
  14. That wasn't the logic I put forth. My logic was "she is deceased so she is dead " Thomas is obligated to disclose gifts from "friends". There doesn't need to be evidence that he did favours for those gifts. But because he chose to break the rules and not disclose the gifts, there is evidence he tried to hide their existence. This is evidence of corruption.
  15. And those who fail to report the extravagant gifts they get from their rich "friends" are corrupt. Why are you opposed to enforceable rules preventing that?
  16. https://www.npr.org/2023/08/10/1193162713/clarence-thomas-supreme-court-gifts-disclosure https://www.courthousenews.com/alito-kicks-up-ethics-questions-with-new-undisclosed-gifts-from-billionaire-donors/#:~:text=Justice Samuel Alito is the,him by billionaire conservative donors.
  17. Go ahead. I'll bet you wind up looking as gullible and weak as you did when you said Hillary should be locked up
  18. If a man buys a pretty dress, it's a man's dress. Now what about those who cut their hair? Are they an abomination?
  19. Representing the last supper isn't a sin. Neither is dressing in a style you like to wear. They may have been mocking you, but they certainly weren't mocking Christ
  20. Yes, he criticized people like you who try to use his words to denigrate others. He also had no time for the money changers who exploit the poor to further their own wealth. Otherwise, he preached love.
  21. Christ's teachings were love, love, love. To be a follower of Christ, you must, first and foremost, love your fellow man. Saying they are unworthy of representing the last supper is the polar opposite of what Christ taught
  22. Who claimed Biden doesn't have advisors? When you're not caught up in a cult of personality, such things don't matter Now try explaining to yourself how Trump could have gotten Nancy Pelosi and Nikki Haley mixed up.
