Trump / Kamala Debate -- it's on!
myata replied to CouchPotato's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Ah, the coward/liar had nowhere to run? -
The liar is also a coward: "why should I debate". Nothing here we didn't know.

Watching the events in Venezuela every individual who can think can see very clearly why democracy is not mob rule. Why one one needs to have those messy rules and institutes. Yes you you can have elections. Maduro has them, and Putin, Iran, Lukashenko any dictator thug who would feel like having an "election". But how do you know who won? Can you win against a lying thug when he's running all things? Do you honestly believe that it can be known from the mindless mob capable only of parroting and amplifying its Idol's throat? Or, maybe Maduros and Putins will tell it honestly? This is why we need to see it, and understand it for what it is. They said and repeated same things as Maduro; he tried some of those things. It is only the reality, facts. And there's nothing here we didn't see or couldn't know.

This nomination round is simply astounding in its naked perplexity. How is it even possible? Are we already in a half-alternate universe just don't know it yet?

Well, this is dishonest. If you make a government such as Afghan very much a sitting duck, and declare it to the whole world, there are no miracles that could save the situation from the disaster. You just pulled the rug from any possibility of it standing. This is characteristic for his style of chaos: doing just about anything to gain a few publicity points immediately with no responsible consideration of the consequences. It's not a long stretch to surmise that the weakness of the West in Afghanistan prompted Putin to his gamble the following year. And now he wants to cower to Putin. Nothing is assured facing this new axis of dictators. It takes careful planning and a lot of concerted effort. Here comes an ignorant buffoon, pulls a few pegs here, knocks a few stones there and all of a sudden the entire dam is coming down.

How can one explain "the race to the bottom" any better? Is it really the only choice? No: of course not. We just have to choose.

Every one would be a good item for an open, objective discussion. Including who engineered the rise of Taliban. Who weakened the positions of the West in Syria, resulting in the rise of ISIS and strengthening of Iran. Who did nothing in for his four year in office to stop the aggressive ambitions of the new alliance of dictators? And what future awaits us if they are encourage to advance and spread?

Well, you just ruined the chance for an honest conversation. Disillusionment is very real, almost palpable and not only in America who could deny that? It is a result of one party's policies and decisions? Beep. Doesn't make much sense, does it? In this century there were three Republican administrations: exactly as many as Democrat's. These are the facts. The reality cannot be twisted and beat.

Harris should run on the message, and vision of renewal and hope. Enough of this old lying stuff. Just boring.
-
See: they aren't apologetic one bit and will do it all again, in a flash. And everyone with a grain of rational thinking have to know what it means: if this direction of politics isn't rejected and condemned by the citizens of reason and responsibility, it would become the new normal. Then, the standard of new politics. These are the choices and we can weight them, what they mean.
-
Whenever he opens his mouth, lies are bursting out as though he has real trouble holding them in himself. Wherever he goes, the message is always the same: hatred wrapped in lies, mixed and adorned with more lies and hatred. When is it enough? Where, beyond the obvious absence of ideas, the dead end of hope it's just plain old boring? To the toothache. What, this, again? A lying clown who wants to lead his troupe over the field of fires with his lying tambourine. Such an old, lying story. Sure there are real problems; they aren't going anywhere and need to be solved and repaired: by thinking, responsible citizens who care about their country, and their posterity. But hiring lying clowns is not an smart way to attend to such problems: they'll ruin everything that still works, and create more dire ones. No musings, history itself tells and shows us that very clearly. Only an old lying clown with a tambourine of hatred and lies. Boom, boom, boom. Unfit, obviously. But so terribly old and boring, too.

It was the dumbest idea of the dumb to believe even for a moment that this kind of sh*t could just go away, under a thin napkin of "unity". Pretend to not see it and like it doesn't exist - a toddler's kind of idea. Welcome to the new politics, by the way. Nope: it's not going anywhere, zero chance. Either its rejected utterly and condemned clearly to make any future liar think many times before trying something like that again. Or it'll become the new standard for every new loser loudmouth liar to stretch a bit further: all the way to Maduro, and why less? Yes, only two choices in any honest look. What surprises or miracles?
-
Bullsh*t is not a valid answer. Sh*tting in other people homes is just sh*tting: there are no explanations or comforting etc. The stupidest idea of gaining respect of others is sh*tting gratuitously and profusely in their homes. That just doesn't work, but try explaining it to a dead brain. This is not going anywhere. The new standard, or something to be condemned and sanctioned to discourage any attempts to try it again as the only options. We knew it and its our choice.
-
And this is exactly why the brainless bunch will try their best, all time ever to pretend that the sh*t didn't happen. Maduro and Putin know how it's done and they now, too. No. This isn't going anywhere. The new de facto normal, and standard. Or rejection and sanction. No other options, in this reality. Don't even dream that this kind of sh*t could just go away, disappear miraculously, if only we refuse to see and admit it.
-
What is important to see and understand here: none of this can be shrugged away. This is not possible now. Either, it's the new normal and then, very likely: the standard. Or, it is rejected and sanctioned, in the strongest terms possible in democracy to discourage any and all attempts to try that again. Only two options and nothing in between. Don't even dream that you can hide this sh*t away by pretending to not notice the smell. Yes: it's still here.
