  1. Now you can see Russia's trolls agitated. Good. There will be the tribunal too. Tell there that it was all propaganda and made up stories. Same ridiculous callous arguments helped the world after the WWII in the Nuremberg tribunals to see their spiritual predecessors for who they were: brutal, merciless butcher psychopaths.
  2. What makes me worried and not glad is that Canada is becoming at least in some ways as Russia or almost. Like when that oily guy is saying it's the only place in the world where it can be done, it screams clear and loud in me, no something has to be wrong here. There just have to be ifs and buts and if and when backed to the wall oops we didn't know from 300K plus unlimited allowances and benefits out of your pocket folk. But I will readily admit that my intuition has been all wrong if / when presented with objective, factual evidence. But how, where can we see such evidence? In five minutes I found as many major industrial gas turbine service companies. Who can tell us that China does not have one or two? Siemens services Russian turbines for a Russian company in China and there's no problems with sanctions and nothing to do with Canada. So who can tell us objective and factual truth here? Do you know? Anyone? Or are we, in some ways at least, like Russia - already?
  3. Psychos always explain and justify their abhorrent acts with imaginary, unreal offenses and causes. This is what makes them who they are. A psycho is defined by what they do. There's no explanation.
  4. I see no point in talking to Russia trolls because they have no interest in a meaningful discussion (on that level there's nothing to discuss, one doesn't have an intelligent discussion on barging in and blowing their neighbor's home) but just in case, one more time: a) Nazis are what Nazis do. These days it's Russia that behaves herself like a true, ardent Nazi. Another excellent example of a psycho psychology and behavior, thanks: first they do what they do. Secondly, as everybody sees them for what they are (i.e. brutal, violent psychos) they grasp for impossible imaginary rationalizations of the acts that cannot be justified in any human language. It's Russia that behaves herself like a violent, murderous psycho. It's Russia that set herself beyond civilized humanity with her own bloody hands. The act speaks for itself, all there's to say and to know. There are no rationalizations for Holocaust. As no rationalizations for Russian fascism and genocidal acts in Ukraine.
  5. Russia pompously declared that powerful Western missile systems given to Ukraine "have been destroyed" just as more of their ammo depots and command centers were blown today to Russian paradise (in the human language, the h-word). What a pathetic bombastic place with not a grain of dignity or truth left. Take heed Canada - the mindless blissful ride will not last forever. If there cannot be intelligent evolution, there will be a hard stop.
  6. All Russia's points are bullshit that's it. Period. There are no valid reasons for violent invasion of one's neighbor. There are no just causes to bomb, rob, rape shell civilians and kill. Only psycho, bullshit "reasons". Russia does it. Russia has been doing it always. Russia is what Russia does. Another example of bullshit psycho quasi-reasoning. We already been at it no point in going in circles and that's what Russia does always because it cannot face a direct and simple fact: there are no valid reasons for what it's doing and in a normal world, cannot be. And bullshit, again. The rule is not reciprocal. One is not obligated to emphasize with psycho's issues and phobias after he gunned down half of a mall. As said earlier, psychos are defined by what they do, not what's going on in their bizarre brains. Do you understand the difference: psychos blow up, maim and kill real people, in reality for no reason but some weird flux in their imagination? Or maybe you don't.
  7. In a stale status quo no one is interested in a meaningful change - it works fine for them as is, no change needed here thank you.
  8. I was only commenting on the style and tone. It doesn't seem like we a have independent free media in this country anymore. Conventions are forgotten and gone. Employees will never fire their CEO. Judiciary is looking the other way. And no other meaningful checks on the governments. That is the reason - not Trudeau. Nothing will be fixed when he's out.
  9. There's an easy answer to that and not from me, but the history. The longer and further you pull the line, the weaker it would make you and the more it emboldens the bully. In the end you may have to face them anyways. And only then you will know the true value of words. Or you could have protected peaceful cities full of civilians now. Important to understand that this choice isn't Putin's. No, yours.
  10. Of course that argument works perfectly in one case: one is a psycho. For a psycho, the problem is never in the reality but how they feel about it. Worked for Hitler, works for Putin and his ilk.
  11. As said tested in training or against some petty dictators but never against a real serious adversary. Mean no offense but in respect and honesty: how do you know? how would you know? What are you still trying is peddling Russia's bullshit narrative that it can be somehow, even by a most impossible and remote stretch understood. But no, no: psychos don't get to pick and choose valid imaginary causes for their crimes. The crimes speak for themselves and no further causes needed and it's the act, the crimes that make psychos who they are. Russia is what Russia does. Russia is ruled by a regime of criminals and behaves as an international armed bandit, and that's no exaggeration. Dangerous bandits aren't negotiated with, their childhood nightmares aren't comforted it's pointless. It's pointless not in the least because psycho know what they are doing they chose it and they enjoy it and that's what make they psychos too. They are apprehended and isolated, behind triple bars and that's the only reasonable course of action here.
  12. In today's CBC on issues in Hockey Canada, there was a lot of discussion of PM's indignant words, he said he mean. Isn't that how they treat their supreme deity in Russia? In most democratic countries of course it would be who is investigated, who resigned and who is charged. Getting there. Isn't it funny ironic that they just can't overcome themselves and embrace all of: the reality; the present and the future; the role of the only political force in the country that is honest and cares about it ahead of itself; and actually a higher chance of winning by supporting PR? Guess one cannot be both of smart and honest in the politics of this country; or else century old winding just couldn't let go.
  13. Maybe you? Or maybe not even trying. Moscow is pretty much the same distance from Ukraine as from NATO members Estonia, Latvia and now Finland. Russia's "second capital" Petersburg is only 100 km from both Estonia and Finland's border. So, plain Russian bullshit. In decades Russia invaded and attacked its neighbors countless times while never threatened. Talk of wolf crying wolf. Anyways, Russia IS the reason for NATO you can see it and hear it and its patently clear now why it's an absolutely necessary arrangement for any of her neighbors who want to have peace and security. Think of living next door to a crazy and violent psycho wait wasn't it just in the news? So you know the price of gold two years from now. Can you check there while at it, is Chinese already the official language of the Great Mandarinate of North-East China? You mean, poor Germans in 1940 with ugly scary Poles sharpening knives at their peaceful borders? No, you don't need those teary-imaginary stories. A psycho can not explain and justify his brutal acts with imaginary offenses that never happened. All what Russia is is what she does. And everyone who has eyes and a brain can see and understand now, what Russia is.
  14. The gas is on again, for now. The doctor knows that the patient will respond. He opened the valve to let you breath but only a bit, and who knows for how long, like I mean, he knows. You had a minimum of eight years to perceive and understand but what if we don't want to, no stubbornly refuse to see? The diagnosis is quite certain: collectively, we cannot learn and will not learn, by reason or by trail.
  15. In a political culture of self-indulgence and entitlement, with no checks, limits or feedback from reality bad things will begin to happen. The question is not if, not when but how bad it'll be next time and how long we have until it's really bad.
  16. It isn't just one individual. It's worrisome to scary that first, it's one of the main political establishments in the country; and secondly, a significant part of population. The vector is very wrong.
  17. First, this is not factually correct. In most places Russia is stalled and in some, being pushed back. Secondly you should compare apples to apples not balloons to peanuts. Where was the US in three months and where Russia is. But OK whatever folks can see Santa or whatever they like to see in the skies. Canada has a North ocean border with Russia and is in the NATO. Norway has land border with Russia been in NATO for decades. The US has a narrow strait border with Russia and is a founding member. So tomorrow Comrade Putin wakes and rolls a fit how all of this world is wrong? This so bullshit it's funny. Like a psycho after a killing spree complaining why there's the police. Russia IS the reason, the one and only NATO has to exist. If you didn't believe it here's the proof, right before our eyes. Psychos do that because that's who they are not their ridiculous excuses.
  18. Wow wow depends on what you call a comparison. Iraq war (defeating of Saddam's regime) lasted about 6 weeks. Afghan war, active period, less than 3 months. We are almost into the sixth and Russia failed to achieve any one of its stated goals fighting an adversary who had no army a few years back. That's called "gaining" for sure only in what language?
  19. That would be a rational argument. Does any of this look rational though? Can we understand murderous psychos on any rational basis? Russia has no exit now but to raise the drama and escalate. Its propaganda machine is pumped up on the level or higher than Nazi's. They can't stop even if wanted to.
  20. This is a fair view, sure in 1940 France could have and probably had business deals with Hitler's Germany till the very day it was attacked. Is it not clear who Putin is relative to him? Can anyone promise that emboldened by a meek reaction Russia wouldn't attack a NATO country. Be a guest of history.
  21. You won't fight a real, brutal and ruthless adversary. No too risky and unpredictable. Safer to move the line. There are no reasons your units couldn't be there protecting cities. It's Putin who has no right to be there. You didn't have to cut sanctions in thin slices, careful not to hurt the partner-adversary too deep. You didn't have to calculate what to give or not to a victim of a brutal, murderous attack. See all these lines, they are drawn by your hand. Putin never needed them, he makes whatever he wants on a snap. They are drawn by you and reflect on you, only.
  22. Yeah right it takes a bit of standing back, much clearer from the perspective. Say, who have you defeated over a few decades? Were they a fair match?
  23. There's one big IF though. Do you know what it is? Everybody knows.
  24. It's not just Trudeau. West has been a great talker of freedom, democracy and all things fine and pretty and cute. And now, the mirror time. Too bad our politicians never get one, forget the circus period. If Conservatives wanted real change it's at their fingertips. Can't care less for shows and circuses.
  25. Only a typical Liberal wherever the next wind blows.
