It amazes me how many people on this forum are truly ignorant about the jobs educators do in public schools. Those know-nothing posters include, in o particular order: wildbill, gosthacked, signals cpl, CPCFTW, Moonlight Graham, Shady, Jack Weber, Boges, gunrutz, westguy, Peeves, sharkman, madmax, Bonam. Honestly, you guys make me afraid for this country. Thankfully there are intelligent people here like Michael Hardner and wyly, who aren't teachers, but sure have a solid understanding of public education, and who know the importance of educators in promoting a just and tolerant society.

because i am a trained educator and know more on the subject than you. we aren't teachers anymore, we are EDUCATORS. and kids aren't students anymore they are LEARNERS. at least get the terminology correct. we are not living in the 60s anymore.

yes it is a misconception that the ignorant often say that its about money. educators fought for smaller class sizes because they care about their learners.
