I see with the latest issue of maclean's that they are pandering to the far right. i have never been more offeneded with a magazine cover in my life. i hope the readers can see through this garbage and stop buying this magazine. what's happened to honest journalsim? Most parents naturally support the teachers unions. parents know the unions are fightin to make it better for teachers which in turn makes it better for their kids. it doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure that out.

iphones, smartboards, ipads are all tools that engage learners, something you know nothing about Mr. canada. smartboards, for instance help learners focus and keep their attention on the lesson being presented. i dont expect you to know that as you haven't been in a 21st century classroom.

Learners need to be connected, from elementary ages to university students. Things are different these days cybercoma. Learners need to be stimulated in schol and teachnology such as smartboards are vital.

teacher unions are thankfully very powerful. i had a great discussion about educational issues this afternoon. when something like this no zero policy goes public there is always an instant backlash and many in the public are angry. but educators know that all these things eventually go away. teachers and unions just have to wait things out until the storm blows over. nobody is talking about the no zero policy anymore or any other topic in education that may be controversial. i found that very interesting.

These lessons are very popular in classrooms. that's why they were produced. it is not indoctrination to teach the youth to protect the earth for future generations.
