  1. Are you able to formulate any more generalizations. You've been watchin too much Leave It To Beaver and father Knows Best reruns if you think two parent families make any differnce in society today. They probably have the opposite effect. Rural folks are usually intolerant and uneducated and teach their kids intolerance. That is why public schools are needed to raise kids and erase all the garbage and intolerance they learn at home. Your post reeks of caveman talk.
  2. The biggest bullshit statement I've ever read on this forum. Teachers are well respected by parents unless they are loony cons.
  3. Lying about what? The CONS hate teachers and they will pay for it.
  4. I am disusted by the latest attack ad against Justin Trudeau. This ad just shows that the CONS are nothing more than bullies. The worst thing about this ad is it shows how little respects CONS have for teachers. That is truly disusting. A lot of teachers are mad and the CONS can kiss their majority good-bye next election, thank goodness. They won't even et a minority. http://www.ottawacitizen.com/travel/Teachers+insulted+Harper+Tories+Trudeau+attack+that+target+their+profession/8294349/story.html
  5. If you can read.......thank a teacher.

Homeschoolers are proven to be socially illiterate. Homeschooling should be banned.

      They can't read socially?

  6. Oh puleeeez tell us about all the bad things happening in ontario schools. All talk no substance. teachers are co-parents and are esponsible for shaping minds and teach kids to respect each other, to be tolerant, and to protect the environment.
  7. I'm not gonna dwell on this but to all the teacher haters on this forum, this is for you. Canada ets more bang for the buck. i would hate to see our country without the tireless efforts of public schoolteachers. Read learn little ones. http://www.conferenceboard.ca/hcp/details/education.aspx
  8. I see you know ABSOLUTEY nothing about the French Revolution, so you rely on petty attacks. Brush up on your history before posting nonsense.
  9. Lately I've been studying and comparing the French and American Revolutions and trying to apply what happened there with what we are seeing now. in American politics. I don't have tim to go into a lot of detail here. Basically, today's left, through peaceful protests and carin for all and being champions of equality get their origin from the French Revolution which was a revolution against Royal tyranny. Robespierre and St. Just among others were fightin for eqaulity. The American Revolution hell bent on making some people better than others has spawned today's far right tea partier, intolerant nonsense. It's quite interesting when you compare the two in depth and see the connections to today's rabid right wing /tea party movement.
  10. I predicted the CPC caucus would bein to fracture. This will be the beginning of the End of the CPC. They will be lucky to win 60 seats next election.
  11. Mo proof. Typical garbage, punked. Grow up already and quit thinking you're smart. I am not Mr. C, so stop trying to stir the pot.
  12. No. It's called people getting sick of Harper and embracing a young, energetic, youthful, honest, charismatic leader like Justin Trudeau. But you believe what you want to believe. I've been following politics long enough to know the CPC is done and could be relugated to third party status after 2015. That's what happens when you threaten democracy and attack unions that look after the working class.
  13. When did I say I was Mr. Canada trollling "you"? Please offer up evidence, or quit makin false, baseless accusations.
  14. No, I'm one of Mighty AC's many personas. I am who I am.
  15. No, it is not. Public schools are a major necessity for a proper democracy. You keep saying this, but it will never happen.
  16. I already have my foot in the door. Don't worry about me; worry about yourself and your lack of knowledge on the subject of public education.
  17. No one cares about spelling and grammar anymore. It is not a priority in schools anymore. You need to get with the times.
  18. You guys can't discuss the issue so you rely on personal attacks. Incompetency breeds immaturity I guess.
  19. I will be a teacher by the end of this month. Shows what you know. Why not add something to the conversation instead of being a troll.
  20. Wrong! Last year was my second last year. I'm done soon, and have some leads on some positions ffor next year. What have you got going for you?
  21. As a soon to be public school teacher I am eleated that the Liberals have made up for McGuinty's mistakes by trying to take away our democratic rights. The deal will be good for us young teachers. This deal will get the Liberals another majority. I will go back to supporting them. Teachers are a forgiving group and we just want to be treated fairly. Thanks to Wynne for cleaning up the mess that she inherited. Treat teachers with respect and we will respect you back. get on our bad side and we along with our progressive unions will fight for our democratic rights. http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/national/education/ontario-sick-days-deal-softens-blow-to-younger-teachers/article10667008/
  22. More anecdotal BS comin from topaz and PIK. You guys have no clue abot the rigors of being an educator. You guys are some old that we are not teachers anymore, we are educators. Use proper terminology if you expect to be taken seriously. Pool Hall-what a dumb, fabricated story.
  23. Teachers put in mour yearly hours than 99% of the private sector. People are too narrow minded to understand as evidenced by many on this forum.
  24. Wow, that is quite the bitch session you just typed. Totally clueless, but i guess you are entitled to an opinion.
