  1. Harper was never Reform leader... And Reform swept the province As did Harper's Conservatives... ...not sure what you are on about
  2. If you want to know if a product is good, ask the people who buy it. I'd like to ask those who are willing to share, who did you vote for in past Federal and Provincial elections, and how happy were you with the result? Me: 2003 Provincial I voted for the PEINDP. I was the Candidate! 2004 Federal I voted for Paul Martin. I was sort of happy with what he did in that term. 2006 Federal I voted for Stephen Harper. I wanted Senate Reform. I'm still waiting... 2007 Provincial I voted for John Tory. He was such a hardcore failure, I was not happy with the result. 2008 Federal I voted for the Green Party of Canada and was happy to see the party do so well. 2011 Federal I voted Green again, and was very happy to see May get elected. 2011 Provincial I voted Ontario NDP, and after this budget thing, I've never been happier with my vote. Municipally, I've voted for Pitfield, then Smitherman. I'm quite upset they both vanished from public view.
  3. I'm very satisfied with my vote last election right now.
  4. Rubio made a flub saying "after I've been Vice President" 'for 8 years' today. I still think he is the pick.
  5. I actually think Rubio will accept it, and will be the one. My money is on him.
  6. Current counting, French Presidental Election. 28.8% - Hollande - Socialist 26.1% - Sarkozy - Conservative 18.5% - LePen - Nationalist 11.7% - Melenchon - Communist 8.8% - Bayrou - Moderate (Liberal) 2.3% - Joly - Green 1.8% - Dupont-Aignan - Gaulist 1.2% - Poutou - Anti-Capitalist 0.6% - Arthaud - Marxist 0.2% - Cheminade - Pro-LaRouche
  7. The Saskatchewan Party of BC? That reminds me of a provincial Rhino-like Party I wanted to start in PEI called the Saskatchewan Party
  8. Charest is the luckiest politician in Canadian history. He lost the 1993 PC leadership, thereby saving his arse from what happened to Campbell He did well enough in 1997 that people said the PC Party is back, but not so well that he would be stuck as leader of the 5th party for a long time By losing the 1998 election he positioned himself for the 2003 election (during which the Iraq War was ongoing, something which Charest might have had difficulty dealing with as Premier) He won in 2003 and became Premier He managed to hold on in 2007, against a strong ADQ challenge He managed to hold on in 2008, against a strong PQ resurgence He is well positioned to win an election this year thanks to these protesters And he will have perfect timing when he quits in 2014/2015 as the PLQ is going to be decimated in the following election
  9. My full projection including map http://blunt-objects.blogspot.ca/2012/04/alberta-preview.html
  10. Are we rating the leaders based on looks? Cause Sherman would take tops. Then Smith then Redford, then Mason.
  11. With this late PC bounce the results might just be interesting. Then again with so many undecideds it could be a landslide. I'm predicting anywhere between 83 and 0 seats for all 4 parties. (trollface)
  12. Don't know if there is a specific thread just on the Veepstakes, but here it goes. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitt_Romney_presidential_campaign,_2012#Possible_vice_presidential_picks What's up with all the Catholics? I'm wondering if Romney's not decided to go with a Catholic and is just trying to figure out which one.
  13. I hope there is another election over this.

  15. Abortion funding is not going to sink a campaign. It's the only social issue where the voter base is slowly swinging back to the right.
  16. South Carolina GDP Per Capita $35,717 Ontario GDP Per Capita $46,303
  17. Except that it is. PEI has never, and still does not, fund abortion.
  18. From what I've been able to gather... Israel: The "Palestine thing" is a Jewish conspiracy, as is the muslim support for it. IE Islam is a Jewish Conspiracy, or, put another way... All Muslims are secret Jews. Jesus: Was a Jew. The Catholic church, IE the church he founded, is a secret Jewish church. Put another way... All Catholics are secret Jews. Christianity: Many so called Protestant religions, or even Orthodox religions, are controlled by the Catholic church to make themselves look good though guilt. Put another way... Nearly all non-Catholic Christians are secret Jews. Eastern Religions: As doitwell's immigrant thread outlines, eastern religion folks are allied to the Jews and their plan to take over the world. Put another way... Buddhists and Hindus are secret Jews. So in review... Of the 7 billion people on earth, 6,999,000,000 of them are Jews, and 1,000,000 are NAZI That is so effing awesome
  19. I think the state is trying to join the deep south
  20. This would work in some provinces. Alberta, in particular. Could work in Manitoba, and Saskatchewan if the NDP is willing. Would never work in BC.
  21. Card carrying Liberal here. If the party dares to even take a merger seriously, I'll cut my card in half and send it back to the party. I am not a Socialist, I am not an NDPer. If the party wants to merge, merge with a party that has similar ideas like the Greens. If the Liberals decide to join the NDP, I will be joining the Conservatives.
  22. Good people to follow for people into politics @kady @TonyClementCPC @PatMartinMP @Carolyn_Bennett @ElizabethMay
  23. Dear Tennessee My bare forearm once rubbed up against the bare forearm of another man Does this mean I'm gay?
