I can't believe how great Harper did last night. He had Layton sobbing in the corner scared to respond. He had Martin grasping on straws and forcing him to make up policies on the spot (removal of the notwithstandingclause) He looked like the future Prime Minister of Canada yesterday. Almost like Mulrooney. Strong. Bold. Ready. He took on every issue with poise and stabillity. If I were to vote based on their performance, I would give Harper a 9.9/10. Everybody get ready to welcome our New Prime Minister. Come january 23rd, welcome to office Prime Minister Harper.

The Conservatives are in a commanding lead in all the polls. If the momentum stays they are guranteed a Minority Government. If the momentum begins to rise, we might even be fortunate enough to have a majority Conservative Government. But--- as we have seen in the past, debates can often make or break a party's chances. So--- we all know that Martin and Layton, and Guiseppe will be teaming up on harper... how should Harper handle this?? Fight dirty or keep his cool? It sickens me how Layton went from being pro-conservative to being a "born again" Liberal by saying- "We cannot allow the tories to win a minority". So obviously he will team up with Martin to try to corner Stephen. My advice to Stephen would to be firm and bold. Stick to the facts, and be confident. If Paul Martin loses we will be fortunate enough to never see his stupid money face again. I hope Layton loses seats. Conservative Minority come january 23rd? Conservative Majority come january 23rd? Those are the only options, and their both fine by me.

Some of you on this board are really arrogant. For God's sakes, The NDP only got half a million votes last election and they have the nerve to say 'Canadians dont share Stephen Harpers vision of Canada' when the Conservatives got 4 million votes (8 times more then Jack) I hate Layton as much as I hate Martin, anyone with me?

Jack Layton has got to be the biggest flip-flopper in Canadian History. This man can not make up his mind. In one hand he clearly stated "The NDP will work with the tories to deliver results to Canadians--- if they win a minority government". And on the other hand he is now warning Canadiand against a minority Conservative government... you can't have it both ways!! How could you support them in one hand, but warn people against them in the other hand. I think Jack is starting to fight ugly becuase his party has been going down in the polls like wild fire. People are sick of his bull, and him always claiming that the NDP is the best party. Anyone remember Joe Clark? Premier of Ontario a while back... he ran the biggest deficiet we ever saw, and record tax heights. NDP is worst then the Liberals in my opinion. Atleast the Liberals know they are liars, the NDP are huge liars but are in big denial. I am 100% Conservative, and I think it's time for strategic voting. A vote for the NDP will make the Liberals form a minority government- so vote Conservative. ps: I wouldnt be suprised if the Liberals paid off Jack Layton to say those things, go figure. :angry:

I personally think harper should be the prime minister of Canada (I wished for a Conservative Majority on new years I know alot of people dont like him, I think those people are just robotic liberals who would rather have a 64 year old crook, then a 46 year old family guy, who follows ethics and morals-- and is trying to make life better and easier for the everyday HARDworking Canadian... Cut the Gst (good!!) Tax Break off Child Sports (Great!!!) Lower tax on pensions (amazing!!!) $1200 a year for each child under 6 (frikkin' awesome!!!) Mandatory Prison Senteces for Gun Offenders (this guy knows what he's doing!) Get rid of house arrest (pure genious!!) So far... any complaints??? According to a poll Ive been running on this website, over 30 people have voted. 50% of the vote has gone to Conservative Majority (yay!!!) Lagging far behind is Conservative Minority, Liberal Minority, and.... wait a second... Liberal Majority!!!??? Who the hell wants a Liberal Majority!!?? 5 people voted for that option on my poll. The tories have always been my favourites. They always have that clean look of honesty. Thanks to Mr. Harris (Premiere of Ontario a while back) He made teachers stay after school to help kids... genious!!! The Tories are the only party showing the love for family, and traditional marriage. I myself am not a gay basher, but I truly believe marriage is between a Man and a Woman. (Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve) On january 23rd please dont be a fool. If you live in Quebec and do not want to seperate, vote Conservative not Liberal.
