  1. If any of you are thinking of doing what I'm thinkig of doing, DON'T! Greg sent out a warning today, saying: "If I catch anyone using multiple accounts, you'll be banned without warning." Then Tweedledee shows up. Hmm. I think it's a trap.
  2. And what would be a better start than to allow doctors the freedom to explain & reveal to their patients the difference between what Medicare covers, as compared to what is the best way to go, in diagnosing & curing whatever it is that ails them. At the present time even the private clinics in Canada (in BC at least), in order to be allowed to exist, I suppose, won't tell you that. Shame on them all! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> BTTT!

  4. Compared to those "thick as a brick Liberals" I'll take Eureka. At least she reads. She buys & reads "hunderds of books" (her own words) every year. Want me to tell you where she buys them? I would tell you, but the 5 measily "LOL" emoticons that we are allowed with every post is hardly enough for an appropriate reply, so I won't. Ask him.
  5. oh my gosh, I am thinking my little one is correct in her prediction. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You know, with that post you probably ruined that last episode for the faster witted posters living on the Left Coast. Anyhow, tell her "CONGRATULATIONS!" Does your little one talk about the upcoming Canadian election at all?
  6. oh my gosh, I am thinking my little one is correct in her prediction. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well it'll definitely be down to your little one's prediction & mine. Randall would be the PC pick ... but remember that The Donald really likes those Eastern European women ... he married two. Show's on ... have to run.
  7. "Penny wise, pound foolish."
  8. How true. So called "sin" taxes on cigarettes and liquor also hurt low income and seniors the most. Sometimes I think Paul Martin hates seniors.
  9. Did you mean: "Zahir Muhsein" ?
  10. I'm surprised Golda "There was no such thing as Palestinians, they never existed" Meir could bring herself to acknowledge them. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Didn't Arafat and his henchmen also aknowledge that "the Palestinian people does not exist." ? http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/714278/posts
  11. Ooops! I meant "BD".
  12. Black Dog, If I had to guess who, on this forum, stays up nights thinking up potent articles to piss off the Yanks and then publishing here the potent ones that, out of fear of being bombed, even Al Jazeera wouldn't print, it would be you, RD.
  13. Nah. The fireworks won't start until after New Year's Eve. I can't wait!
  14. That's exactly what I'm guessing except that I think it's the CPCers that have something up their sleeve. Like the business community. Or GWB. Who knows?
  15. I think you have it backwards. No one anywhere cares about Jack's grandpappy. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I care about Jack's grandpappy. I lived in his old house on Mayfair Avenue in Montreal for 10 years. Gilbert did nothing out of the ordinary to piss off the Quebecois, did he? Like every Anglo back then he too probably spat on the "Pepsis" , but nothing out of the ordinary to the best of my knowledge. Nice to see you're back Michael. Ru
  16. Over 95% of the world doesn't like it. Nor drug legalization, or legalized prostitution. The Dutch like it though, so does little Belgium, and that's where Canada looks for these half-brained ideas that are sure-fire incitements to anger the Americans. The Dutch legalized euthanasia in 2001, followed by Belgium. The Dutch are now so advanced in euthanasia that they are even killing babies with spina bifida. (I hope our Mayor Sam Sullivan is not planning a trip to check out the drug sites in Amsterdam.) Isn't it about time we mimicked them on that also, to really piss off the Americans?
  17. Did you see that fake smile he sports everywhere he goes these days? I don't trust people with fake smiles.
  18. Don Martin says that "anyone who can get two-to-one odds should bet on a Conservative minority." Protect that with a few bucks on a longshot, a Conservative majority, and you can't lose.
  19. Exactly! I will bide my time and wait to see what they all have to say, then choose accordingly. You never know, Harper might actually come up with something that sounds like common sense, in which case, I may give him a shot. BB "Common sense is not so common." - Voltaire
  20. Not wanting to start a whole new thread about it, I was HOPING that somebody would bring up same-sex marriage. Thanks, Shoop! Isn't Sir Elton John soon to "marry" his Canadian beau, David Furnish? Where will they tie the knot? In Canada? Holland? Belgium? Couldn't be in England. Could it? http://www.canada.com/nationalpost/news/ed...5a-bdb74d62d4ac "Important difference about Elton's nuptials Published: Tuesday, November 29, 2005 Re: Sir Elton To Wed His Canadian Beau, Nov. 25. Under a front-page picture of Elton John and his Toronto-born partner David Furnish, the caption states they will be married on Dec. 21, "the day same-sex marriage becomes legal in Britain." The related article comments on the "civil partnership ceremony." So, which is it, "same-sex marriage" or "civil partnership"? I want to know what kind of greeting card I should send. Alex Hercaniuk, Mississauga."
  21. You know what they say, animals are most dangerous when cornered.
  22. I was wondering if Michael Ignatieff was going to be mentioned. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Why the heck did this thread stop once Michael Ignatieff was mentioned? Hmm? What's WRONG with you people? Hmmm? BTW - I'm puting you, Cybercoma, in my favorites. Thank you!
  23. I doubt he'll screw up this time around. That's because he knows when to hold them and when to fold them. But that's only good in a poker game. That he didn't care and folded, once it became obvious to him that he was toast the last time around, is an obvious sign that he is a child at heart. A great way to be if you are an ordinary man, but deadly if in charge of the country and its people. DUMP HIM!
  24. My dream outcome would be a Liberal minority. My alternate is a CPC minority. I won't even mention a Liberal majority, because that's humanly impossible. What I fear is a CPC majority. I'LL DO OR SAY ANYTHING TO GET MICHAEL IGNATIEFF ONTO THE THRONE PRONTO !!!!
